I'd be a little surprised if a team made a move on Clowney now right before the draft unless he re-signs in Seattle. If a team that needs a pass rusher badly doesn't get the draftee they want, they will swoop in and make their bid for Clowney.

Gilmore always played below expectations in the first half of his seasons with the Bills only to be very good in the second half of those seasons.s Hence the "not living up to expectations" part.

I hate when these draft outlets do player comparisons. Sometimes you never even heard of the NFL player some of these draftees are being compared to.

I remember on BBMB that Gilmore was Bills fans favorite whipping boy. Gilmore was EASILY the most hated Bills during his time period with the Bills.

Holy moly. The kid showed significant improvement from year one to year two and led the team to the playoffs with NINE new starters around him. Sorry if that isn't improvement enough for you for a 23 year old kid coming from a small school he had to carry on his back. Saying he simply didn't play well is a completely narrow-minded view on Allen. I never said he was a franchise QB now, but unlike others, I will allow him to grow into the role. I also apologize that Allen isn't Brady, Wilson, Mahomes, Watson and Jackson at the grand old age of 23. Mahomes got drafted by Reid, with the best support system of offense in the NFL. Watson played at Clemson and he extensive championship experience, which really helped his transition to the NFL. Plus he had Hopkins and Fuller. When did Allen ever have anything like that? Jackson was a former Heissman winning QB and Baltimore rebuilt their entire offense to cater to him. Job well done by Baltimore, but Jackson has been brutal in two playoff games. With all that said and to your point................ Allen still does have a lot to prove. But I think he has the talent and temperament to get there.

When Allen and Dak went head to head, who was the better QB? Yeah, those 5,000 yards and 30 TD's really amounted to a whole bunch of wins. With that said, I call Dak a turd only because the contract he asks for certainly doesn't warrant what he is worth.

Most folks in the national media and other teams fans can't stand Allen and there are a good number of Bills fans who have declared Allen a bust already.

We all knew that the second McDermott took over this team in 2017 he was looking at the 2018 class of QB's to move this franchise forward. All signs were pointing to the two Josh's as to whom the Bills were going to draft in 2018 and hopefully McDermott picked the right Josh. It certainly looks that way right now. ?
