Johnson is still on his rookie contract. I am just throwing this out there. I'd be surprised if this happened though.

If the Bills make any kind of trade, I would try and get Kerryon Johnson from Detroit. He needs a jumpstart to his career and maybe coming to Buffalo will do that for him. He had a good rookie year with Detroit, but was pretty underwhelming last year as Detroit's running game flamed out. Kick the tires on Johnson as him and Singletary could be one hell of a pair.

He carried the defense in 1991 when Bruce Smith was on the mend. That 1991 D did give up a lot of yards and some points, but Bennett spear-headed a defense that was a turnover machine, paired with an all time great O.

Cam Akers or Darrynton Evans are my picks for RB2.

I watched App State games a lot in 2019 and Evans really stood out, but I didn't give it much thought about him being a pro because I thought the Bills were going to bring in a vet RB. All that might have changed.

Hot humid days will kill the virus altogether, so I would be SHOCKED if everything isn't up and running by June.

Evans is definitely an intriguing prospect from round 3 and on, if they don't take a RB in round 2.

They already signed 3 DL and they seem to like Murphy, so I highly doubt the Bills are interested in bringing Clowney in, even at a reduced rate. Someone is STILL going to overpay for Clowney.

I remember that trade on Halloween 1987. Everyone was talking up Eric Dickerson to the Colts and the Rams getting all those draft picks, but, EASILY, the most impactful part of that entire trade was Bennett's on the Bills and it isn't even close.

If Ford makes the jump, then this line will be solid. No matter what, this line should be able to run block pretty darn effectively.

I am sure some team with a desperate need for a CB will jump all over it. I don't know if McBeane feels desperate right now. The only starting spot they might not feel secure about is CB2, so it might be a fit.

In the end, I think (I hope) they do the right thing.

Sign Hyde, draft Evans in the 3rd. Singletary Evans Hyde Jones Hyde or Miller will be a modest contract anyways. I see Singletary as the main guy, Evans the home run threat (and much more) and Hyde as the short yardage pounder. There, I solved it all. ?

How about the Bills just draft Darrynton Evans in the 3rd round and get it over with. I did watch a lot of App State games last year and I honestly never thought about Evans as a pro back because I never thought the Bills would be in the market for a young back, mainly because I thought they would have signed a vet to replace Gore. Now that the narrative could have shifted and since the Bills aren't picking the 1st round anymore. Evans is now on the radar in the 3rd round. I am guessing the top 4 RB's will be gone by 54 (Swift, Dobbins, Taylor, Akers) and the Bills will have to look in the 3rd round and beyond. Evans is a hell of a prospect and when it is all said and done, he could be the perfect compliment to DS.

I am thinking Cam Akers in the second round, Darrynton Evans in the third round, and whomever else later on. McFarland and CEH are too similar to Singletary, so I really don't think the Bills would draft either one of these kids.

It's probably the top need, but I guess the Bills will go BPA with the top pick regardless of position.
