How come no trades? It would have made things a lot more interesting. And you KNOW trades will happen in the real draft. Come on, trades make it more fun. ?

We all knew that the second McDermott took over this team in 2017 he was looking at the 2018 class of QB's to move this franchise forward. All signs were pointing to the two Josh's as to whom the Bills were going to draft in 2018 and hopefully McDermott picked the right Josh. It certainly looks that way right now. ?

Reading the tea leaves and it’s coming up Dugger

They do things their way. How many of us had Quinton Jefferson signing with this team? -
For those that want a RB in the first few rounds
njbuff replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's not competition. The Bills need another RB they can count on besides DS. We all saw how the offense completely stalled when Singletary wasn't in games later in the season. A quality RB2 is of the highest priority on this team. -

Akers will not be available later in the draft. Neal just needs to learn to wrap up better. ? Dugger or Chinn is a waste to me, but if McBeane want them like you do........... Who am I to argue? -
You wanna compare Allen to Brady, Jackson, Mahomes, Watson and Wilson? Ok But where were Eli Manning, Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers, Phillip Rivers after their second seasons? We all KNEW that Josh Allen was a work in progress. He is doing fine so far for being that work in progress. Let him continue to grow and work out his kinks. You are simply a part of that "instant gratification" society and want perfection immediately. Allen is in year 3 and showed considerable improvement from year one to year two. Let him get there before calling him a bust.

RB is a really GLARING need, right?
njbuff replied to Richard Noggin's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The top 5 RB's are clear and they all might be gone by 54. Will one of them land to the Bills, or will they trade up to get one? -
Josh Allen "Prove it" Season In Year 3
njbuff replied to longtimebillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Never mind the missed block in OT against Houston. It was the shot he took on that play that should have us worried. It doesn't matter how big Allen is, shots like that cannot continue or Allen will be washed up like Newton at a young QB age of 31. -
Darnold and Mayfield are in the same boat as Allen, but Allen CLEARLY has the best support system by a country mile when compared to the other two. Wentz was on his way to an MVP before getting injured in 2017. Dak has proven to be a game manager and is NOT worth the big contract he will get. Ok, maybe a little better than a game manager, but replaceable. Goff went to a SB and can be good, but the talent around him is eroding a little bit.

They already have Siran Neal in that big nickel role and he is a very good player. And Taron Johnson is a very good slot corner (when healthy). And Edmunds and Milano are on the field 100% of the time at LB. Where exactly do Chinn and Dugger fit into this equation? Chinn or Dugger would be a waste of a high draft choice if you ask me. -
I get the hate. The year is 2020 and if your 24 year old QB isn't a perfect SB winning QB, then he is a bust. There is no more patience in today's NFL for a QB to develop. That's a fact. People want perfection instantly and if it isn't there, they want to move on to the next imperfect QB. This cycle constantly repeats itself, thus you never have a franchise QB. I understand the patience that will allow Allen to continue to grow. Many others do not.

Back to back division championships. AFC Championship game appearance. Plus, they had a ton of talent. The 2020 Bills have a long way to go before they can even be in the same breath as the 1988 and beyond Bills. We all hope they can get there. It would be absolutely fantastic.

Let this team have some sorta success first before making comparisons.

Akers is darn good. He can do it all out there. Remember, he had one of the worst OL's in all of college football and still managed to produce. Plus, McBeane likes those 5 star recruits. ? -

Everyone who goes outside should be wearing masks and gloves. That part is not that difficult. -
For one day be nice to Robert Kraft

Unlike most on here, I actually like Kraft. He never bothered me. And how many of you would want him as our owner? Nuff said. -
The Next Pandemic: SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19
njbuff replied to Hedge's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
That's why I said we have to do our part to get rid of this virus and it has NOTHING to do with politics. LA just had its first confirmed case on Skid Row. That's going to be a major problem out there. -
Brandon Beane press conference 4/2 & One Bills Live
njbuff replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They did not like Yeldon, even though it was obvious late in the season that Gore's tank was empty. RB2 is most certainly number one on their needs list. -

njbuff replied to Hedge's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
We will see what happens. We just have to get thru this. But you folks in here want to make this political, which helps no one anywhere. We have to do our parts to get thru this without even a hint of stupid politics not being involved. -

The world needs to decide that. The price I wanna see them pay is not in the cards. -
