Yeah, I was just going to say this is the same guy who took out Hauschka. This ticks me off. You can tell what a jerk he is just by looking at his picture. Unbelievable. All it takes is one guy like this to ruin a player, a season, a franchise, a fan base.

I hope so too, but I think his range is shrinking. Could be the injury, but I think we saw this last year. There was also a time yesterday where I scratched my head about why we weren't taking the points.

All the shows seem to be moving away from highlights, probably due to the instant availability of highlights online. It's extremely frustrating... You'd like to be able to get reasonably comprehensive highlights from all games via one source, but it's just not like that anymore; you even have to watch NFL Network for HOURS to get around to packages for every game. Yes, the NFL posts 10-minute game recaps on YouTube, but 16x10 is too much time when you used to be able to catch good highlights on FNIA (wayyyy shortened now) or via Berman and Jackson. Sad. Would really like the league to post a 15-minute all-games highlight video if they want everything to be online. The other downside of the game recaps online is they are just the original calls without commentary/highlight music.

Would Hauschka be able to make a kick from that range in that situation? If not, we shouldn't have extended him.

I was literally replying to remark on how encouraging it was that such a thread existed and was producing good discussion, because it's interesting for many people but others around here often berate fans who are interested in things like that. But then it said the content was unavailable...

Yeah. He also looks a lot smaller than he did at his previous stops. I don't think he has power anymore. Look at his legs even in Miami and it's kind of shocking how much smaller he is.

Between the preseason and the issues today, I think you have to be at least A LITTLE concerned. Hopefully it's just that he's still getting used to Allen's ball. I think it'll improve. But you can't have balls deflecting over the middle. Cowboys Twitter people were talking today about how much of an upgrade Randall Cobb is for them because he's physical. I dunno. The deficiency I noticed more today is Levi Wallace's tackling. It looked like he got run over for nice gains twice.

How about Sammy Watkins and LeSean McCoy on the best offense in football... Beating up on Doug Marrone. So strange!

Coaches and defenders all over the league are probably about fed up with the Patriots as well. I have a feeling the Patriots have finally crossed a line and everything is going to CRASH at some point this season, likely by way of Brady getting career'd.

If they have success, everyone's level of hatred of them will reach unprecedented levels. Pure disgust. They're not cheating the league, but it feels like it. It's been too long. It's also puzzling on the surface (especially given the helmet color), but it makes a lot more sense to people when you explain the origin. Even without the origin, there are numerous other major sports franchises that are just colors, so it's not as strange as Bills.

This isn't something I'd ever considered, but I'm kind of shocked at how open to it I am. Assuming the logo stays the same, just "Buffalo" is intriguing, but media templates would be a problem. Bisons would actually work! Just don't change the logo and I think we'd still feel it's the same team. "Buffaloes" would be hilarious because Buffalo Buffaloes brings to mind "Buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo," but there would be problems with the spelling because people wouldn't know whether to use "Buffaloes" or "Buffalos." Objectively, Bills is pretty embarrassing and causes lots of issues... Makes no sense with the branding, and I've had so many people (mainly women who aren't true football fans) call them the bulls or buffaloes. I've had so many blank stares after explaining the origins and the Buffalo Bill thing. It just makes no sense that Buffalo Bill isn't in our branding AT ALL. We could at least have an alternate logo or something, or how about Buffalo Bill riding the charging buffalo? Someone should do a mockup on that! On the surface, "I'm a Bills fan" makes no sense to people. It might be the most confusing team name in sports. Bills? "Is the team named after people named Bill?" Buffalo Bill isn't widely known enough for it to be obvious, especially since he's not associated with the city of Buffalo. There's also a weird element with Buffalo Bill getting his name due to his talent for KILLING the animal on our helmet... It's all really odd.

Love Chris Simms. I actually watch PFT daily and I disagree with the notion that Florio hates the Bills. He thinks the Bills or Jets will challenge for the playoffs this year.
