  1. I don't know about you guys... But I'm nervous every time Hauschka comes out to kick now. Extremely frustrating
  2. Singletary has taken two really bad angles after catching the ball so far.
  3. He seems like he is too overweight. Looks uncomfortably above ideal playing weight
  4. It's working; just that terrible dizzying effect you get from streaming sports on a TV.
  5. Was it just me or did that ball to Samuel not actually hit the ground? It bounced off his hands and was picked?
  6. You must be one of the ones I offended in a non-football conversation or something. Makes no sense.
  7. I hope I am. I wish I watched Allen and thought he was going to be great this year. I just feel like he is poised to be rather inconsistent and this will be frustrating for fans. I think he'll have the ability but not the consistency. Are fans ready to tolerate him having bad games and making poor throws that are costly? I think the homers should prepare for that. But what do I know... Apparently I'm a troll. Lol
  8. I think you need to look up the definition of "troll." It doesn't mean sharing a reasonable opinion based on observation. What we seem to have here for sure though is a homer who wants to protect himself from unpleasant thoughts.
  9. I do think it's cute how the Jets and Bell think Bell is too good to play in preseason. So annoying.
  10. Yeah, I fear that Darnold is better than Allen. The eyeball test seems to suggest this. There is DEFINITELY more natural accuracy and consistency, and he looks more in control and decisive. Allen still looks iffy.
  11. Yup. I think the reasoning is they don't hire anyone to just sit there for years and sell rentals; the enterprise (pun intended) is designed to hire fresh college grads and turn them into branch managers in short order. Other than car preps and drivers, everyone is hired as a Management Trainee.
  12. The word "else" is inferred, O perennially condescending one.
  13. I'm not sure about insurance salesmen, but did you know that you have to have a 4-year degree to work at Enterprise Rent-a-Car?
  14. No caption, but Cam Newton will never win anything.
  15. I am simply talking about the candidate who won the popular vote (i.e., received the most votes). It seems that you may have cleverly inserted the word "majority" to get around that and try to bring this into the weeds.
  16. I would run so many yarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrds to get away from her
  17. $1 more, at least here in Cumberland, MD.
  18. I tried an Impossible Whopper. Here are the thoughts of an honest taster with no agenda. (The paid actors in the Burger King commercials are clearly not giving honest reviews, and I'd have to guess that many of the online reviews are also bought by BK. That's to be expected.) My first thought is that vegetarians and those who stay away from meat for moral reasons might get a good positive kick out of this. It is definitely the best non-burger burger I've ever tasted (and I tasted quite a few in my pescatarian days). Those looking for something more nutritious than a burger should probably stay away, because I would strongly object to the notion that this is a "healthier" option. Trading fat for carbs is typically not a good idea. It also doesn't taste like meat, but it tastes more like nothing than other meat replacements, which makes it better than other meat replacements. I also give it extremely high marks for its inner appearance and texture, although the exterior will not fool anyone. I actually laughed when I opened the wrapper, because it was immediately obvious that it wasn't meat (and the marketing has been strongly pushing the idea that people can't tell the difference). In my (admittedly brief) digging, I wasn't able to find an actual ingredients list, but I would be shocked if the patty doesn't contain cauliflower. If there was one flavor I got consistently, it was cauliflower. Overall: it was a pretty good sandwich that tasted a little too much like cauliflower.
  19. Come again? Where are you getting your statistics? Maybe you're getting hung up on the term "majority," but the Democrat has won the popular vote in every election but one (Bush-Kerry) for the past 30 years.
  20. I'd like to think otherwise, but I don't think Singletary will ever be a bell cow. He's not a bruiser, and even Marcus Murphy seems to be faster. Next year, I think we'll have to add a speed back and more of a bruiser, but Singletary will always be a solid piece. I think we're probably looking at two new backs next year to go along with Singletary and Wade.
  21. No one's going to be upset if we go 4-0 in the preseason; fans would love it and so would I. And it can't do anything but improve team confidence. But I don't think any outsiders would care, unless we thump teams in an unprecedented manner. Preseason is forgotten as soon as it's over, and for good reason -- there doesn't seem to be a correlation between preseason success and regular-season success.
