  1. Yeah, haven't found ANY good wings.... Everyone puts breading on the wings.
  2. Indochine!! First restaurant we went to when we moved here!! So good and sooo much food!! And actually Guy Fieri is in Downtown Wilmington today checking out some of the other places for his show.
  3. No way man, I live in Wilmington too, well really close, we just moved to Hampstead from Wilmington about a year ago. Love it here... Like you said the beach makes all the difference, 100+ degree days on the beach are not bad at all with the breeze that you get.
  4. 2012 - Loved Luck, but being younger and drawn to the electrifying plays Griffin made scrambling around, I naively preferred Griffin but had the 2 even talentwise. 2013 - I was convinced that EVERY draft HAD TO HAVE at least 1 franchise QB somewhere and it was only a question of identifying who it was going to be.... I liked EJ for his plays where he ran around and was exciting (But this is not sustainable at the NFL level). 2014 - Didn't have a preference between Cook, Carr, or Bridgewater.. Felt all of them could become good to great NFL Starters if developed. 2015 - Really liked Winston and Mariotta, preferred Winston at this point as I understood that QBs that run around a lot rarely have sustained success in the NFL. 2016 - Didn't look into Goff and Wentz all that much as they were untouchable for us. Don't understand the Prescott love and believe Dak is not as good of a passer as he is given credit for. 2017 - Saw Trubisky as the best pocket passer of the bunch and still believe that. Liked Watson but was (Still am) not sold on him being a good enough passer, we will see. I didn't and still don't understand the love Mahomes gets but everyone loves him so I'm missing something. Mahomes does seem to have the personality and a gamer mentality.... Maybe I'm not seeing it because I don't want to see it and admit the Bills passed on a great prospect... But I just don't see what the announcers and analysts are wooing about with him. 2018 - See Rosen as the clear cut #1 Darnold as the #2, and a toss up between Rudolph and Allen. I don't see Rudolph or Allen being 1st rounders but expect them both to be picked in the 1st by some team. Would love for Rosen to get the ol' McD approval during the interviews and have the Bills jump up to get him, but not sure his personality will check out.... but I trust whatever McD decides, man knows what he's doing.
  5. Definitely... I don't know about his character, but at least talent-wise Bradham would've been amazing in this defense.
  6. Not to hijack the thread or anything, but it was crazy watching the games yesterday and seeing Gilmore have the game sealing play, and then seeing Jim Schwartz's defense light it up with Nigel Bradham, Corey Graham, and Ronald Darby... Darby had a pick that was knocked out of his hands and into Graham's hands I believe.
  7. I certainly don't claim to be an expert on this type of stuff, but I thought I would look at Rosen in comparison to Brady and when comparing college highlights (I know they are HIGHLIGHTS, not the best gauge of talent), I see a lot of similarities in that they both are able to drop back read the field and get the ball out to their intended receiver accurately and on time. I will be the first to say, I'm not sure about Rosen's personality, but the kid looks to be the real deal and I would love for Cleveland to do the Brownsie thing and take Allen 1st overall, allowing us to trade up with the Giants to get this kid.
  8. If we aren't going after Darnold or Rosen, I pass on the rest of these QBs and trade out of the 21st or 22nd pick for a 2019 1st rounder in hopes that it ends up being in the top half of the 1st round next year and give me more picks to get up and get a top QB next year. Beane and McD will not waste picks on guys they don't trust to be here for a LONG time. McD knows what positions he values most and needs to be the foundation of his team, and knows the positions he can scheme to minimize their weaknesses. McD will get a top QB and they have a plan to do it... I trust Beane and McD. I strongly believe that IF we are going to have a rookie QB wearing a Bills jersey next season that it will be Rosen or Darnold... But also see a strong possibility that we get Cousins or Smith in FA allowing us to draft other needs instead.
  9. The cost for the 2nd pick might look like 4 first round picks, but if the Bills have the most draft capital to reasonably offer, it may be closer to 3 first round picks and change. We must take into consideration that the Bills are one of the only teams with 2 first round picks to offer THIS year.. providing IMMEDIATE return for the Giants, Browns, or Colts moving out of their spot. I have to think that this would appeal to the Giants specifically as they already have Manning and aren't in a position where they HAVE to get a QB, and the thought of having 2 first round picks THIS year could definitely appeal to them making one last run with Eli this coming year.
  10. IMO, Rosen and possibly Darnold (Still a bit worried) are the only sure fire guys for me based on the plays I have seen out of them. They stand in the pocket and are able to make throws down field on time. I am not as blown away with the plays where these other QBs turn it into backyard football and run around before throwing up a hailmary, and I don't think those are the QBs that McBeane wants either. That is what scares me with Some of the guys like Jackson and Mayfield, too much doing their own thing and making a play instead of reading the field and executing. Now I understand that some of it ahs to do with the supportign cast and know this goes against what many others might want in a QB, but it is just my opinion. I will admit that the plays that Jackson and Mayfield make are exciting, I just worry whether they will work at the next level (Reminds me of the plays Manziel made) whereas reading and firing a ball on time from the pocket to the correct read should translate to the NFL easier.
  11. Interesting to see the number of people that are so high on Tyrod Taylor who don't want to give Peterman any room for mistakes.... and with the craziest bit of evidence... they say Peterman is no good because look, he started 2 games and threw 5 picks in his 1st start, and was 5 of 10 for 57 yards and only 1 TD. These points alone don't mean anything, they must be put in context, and I don't mean make excuses for, I mean what actually happened in the games, on each play. And if what has happened is just natural rookie growing pains, there is no reason to get down on the POSSIBILITY that Peterman may turn in to something good. Its not saying he WILL be good, its just admitting that what has happened so far is to be expected of a rookie QB and does not disqualify him from ever turning into something great. 1st Start: 2 Interceptions were all Peterman's fault, the other 3 were a combination of the chargers great defense, our piss-poor o-line, terrible receiver play, and horrible offensive playcalling. And a 2 interception game as a 1st start (1 half of play) for a rookie QB is definitely not good, but certainly doesn't mean he is terrible. I would argue that it is to be expected from a rookie QB as he grows and matures to adapt to the speed and complexity of NFL Defenses. But it takes game reps for that to happen, its hard to adjust to the speed if you aren't getting reps and experiencing how fast things happen. 2nd Start: Again, taking the stats without taking into consideration the context and the specifics of the game. It was a blizzard, terrible conditions to try and throw the ball in... even worse to try and catch in. Several dropped passes that bounced off of receivers hands, and a couple passes that arguably could have been placed better by Peterman, but once again IT WAS A BLIZZARD. He had several very good passes to Benjamin with great placement and timing. And then a rookie mistake, we saw it with EJ Manuel, and we saw it again with Peterman when he didn't slide and took the big hit. Also, people point to the fact that we shouldn't give Peterman much of a chance because he is a 5th round pick..... and they are the same people wanting to give Tyrod Taylor chance after chance, of whom is a 6th round pick. Now, I was a Tyrod supporter for his first season and a half... through the good and bad that he gave us... but have come of the opinion that he is not able to read defenses and although he is an exciting QB to watch when he is running around, he will not be someone you can count on every game... only QBs that can see over the line and read the defense can have sustained success IMO.
  12. Although I have lost all confidence in Tyrod and believe a switch is coming at some point this season, I still see us getting to 8 wins. And 8 wins will be good enough to be in the running for the last wildcard spot. It will come down to the Bills, Chargers, Broncos, and Ravens for the 2 wild card spots IMO.
  13. Yeah, McDermott definitely likes to rotate the D-line unlike when the Ryan Bros were here. I actually think they should be moving Lorax to DE with the emergence of Milano... when Humber comes back I don't want to see Milano sent to the bench. And no problem man, been reading here for many years and understand that there are hot topics and the comp pick discussion is certainly one of them... And it usually is a ridiculous conversation as people are always suggesting cutting all kinds of good players to get us a 5th or 6th round comp pick.
  14. No way I could see Hauschka getting cut. He's been a great signing. The three I was thinking might be on the chopping block were Ducasse, Holmes, and Ryan Davis (If he is one that factors into comp picks). You make a good point about Holmes playing special teams though, which is certainly something that McDermott values.
  15. So do the Bills cut 3 of their free agent signings from the summer to recoup a 3rd round comp pick. Benjamin makes Holmes expendable and Ducasse has been someone they should've cut months ago, then just one (I think) more cut and it could get them a 3rd round comp pick.
  16. Yes, I see the Bills getting into the playoffs this year because the AFC is looking weaker every week. Many of the strong teams are having to deal with huge injuries (Texans) that will set them back significantly while the Bills strength seems to be the Defense as a whole, not one single player. McDermott and Beane are engineering this team to be a sum of many good players, not reliant on stars. With looking through the schedules, I see the AFC playoffs including the Patriots (12 Wins), Bills (10 Wins), Chiefs (13 Wins), Broncos (11 Wins), Steelers (11 Wins), and Jaguars (11 Wins).
  17. Definitely looks to have the best arm in this draft.. No questions about it. Have to worry about whats between his ears though and whether it will keep him from ever reaching his potential.
  18. Love TBD.. Have read here for many years but just recently made an account. Thanks for making TBD what it is today!!
