  1. According to John Gruden, Nickell Roby has the perfect first name for his position.
  2. I'm under 55 (not by much) and Connery is my favorite Bond. Roger Moore was admirable, though. He had a tough act to follow, and he did it well.
  3. I wouldn't call John Mayer a god, but he is an excellent guitarist. His own music is a bit too "pop" for me, but I was really impressed with him when I saw D&C. He and Oteil were playing off of each other all through the show. Their chemistry with the rest of the band was great. And he's not playing Jerry's riffs - Bob Weir specifically said that they didn't want an imitator; they wanted someone who knew how to jam. That's why they picked Trey Anastasio for Fare Thee Well, and why they went with Mayer for D&C.
  4. For a moment I thought this might be related to the "male rompers" thread.
  5. I realize that Freddie was not an elite RB, but he's one of the few Bills players in modern times who put his whole heart and soul into the game. Regardless of injuries, FJ left it all on the field, 100%, every game. Kyle too. I'd put 'em both on the Wall.
  6. Last year we saw Funktional Flow (Buffalo band) at the Great Blue Heron Music Festival. I highly recommend seeing them. http://www.funktionalflow.com/tour-dates/ http://www.funktionalflow.com/news/flow-fest/ They play mostly original music with occasional covers.
  7. ... as he is at throwing a football. Maybe he's just trying to encourage celibacy. http://www.12up.com/posts/5025155-tim-tebow-nails-fan-in-the-nuts-with-errant-warm-up-throw
  8. Even more than the guy he replaced? Fitz is a mediocre QB at best, but at least he plays with guts and passion. Trent played like his mother would yell at him if he got grass stains on his uniform.
  9. True, and if she had been choking, her reflex would have pulled her away. If she didn't back off, then he must have been holding her head so she couldn't. Manslaughter, at a minimum.
  10. Early 90s, there was a show called Eerie Indiana: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0101088/
  11. "Because a flaccid penis ... is completely irrelevant. It needs to be erect." #TWSS
  12. "Big bottom, drive me out of my mind. How can I leave this behind?"
  13. Here's how it compares with a traditional solar rooftop: http://www.engineering.com/ElectronicsDesign/ElectronicsDesignArticles/ArticleID/14919/Tesla-Solar-Roof-The-Model-S-of-Photovoltaics.aspx
  14. Good article. I'll take dull competence over flashy idiocy any day.
  15. I will. (See above post about being crazy.)
  16. Mildly optimistic. It was clear that Rex was taking the team in the wrong direction, so I'm expecting some improvement due to the coaching change. Frankly, I don't think it'll take a LOT of improvement to at least make the playoffs, so I'm not ruling out the postseason entirely, but I'm also not expecting it this year. We're Bills fans. Calling us crazy is redundant.
  17. Hmmm ... a passing attack that features an Air Force officer. I like the sound of that.
  18. That was a joke I couldn't refuse to laugh at.
  19. In this case, they wouldn't even have to do research - just scroll down to the bottom of that article where it says this: "World News Daily Report assumes all responsibility for the satirical nature of its articles and for the fictional nature of their content. All characters appearing in the articles in this website – even those based on real people – are entirely fictional and any resemblance between them and any person, living, dead or undead, is purely a miracle."

  21. There's two kinds of people in the world: those who create false dichotomies and those who don't.
