  1. I know he is questionable, if he doesn't for the Rams I would say Tyler Higbee could open targets with the attention needed for Robinson and Kupp which could be an issue on third down.
  2. Buffalo / / Greg Rousseau, much has been made about the improvements to the D line and I think it unlocks Groot who had a solid B- type first year with some good plays. Von has taken him under his wing and I think with a year of seasoning and growth you see him become a force which helps keep the Rams passing attack from going wild as Stafford has limited time to throw LAR / / Van Jefferson, he is an incredibly fast elusive receiver who had 800 yds, 50 rec, & 6 TDs last year. Much has been made about Kupp/Robinson for good reason, but Van Jefferson could be the real issue if the young BUF CB's lose coverage on him or because of scheme due to covering Kupp/Robinson I can see him becoming the difference for the Rams. This is also where Tre White not being here to shut down one of the two big guys on his own may hurt.
  3. Bills 27 Rams 23 My heart says this is a 50/50 game where the end result could easily be Rams 27 Bills 23, I have had the Rams repeat as the NFC champs when I have predicted the season so I have no doubt they can beat us. BUT in my head I look at that the Rams have some injuries and guys who need some refinement whereas the Bills outside of Tre being out are far healthier and a bit more talented which allows them to hold on as the Rams can't get a TD late going four and out on the Bills 30. I think the Bills plan on hitting the Rams with McKenize & Shakir in a way they are not ready for which allows Buffalo enough of an advantage to hold out. Both teams respect each other highly and the skill on each side and I see this being a real back and forth game similar to the Titans last year except Buffalo has a happier result. Allen 23-31 301 yds 2 TDs 30 yds 3 atts rush Singletary 65 yds 12 atts Diggs 101 yds 4 rec
  4. Virgil I love the responses of others to you as they obviously have not picked up on how you do your predictions even if you are serious lol
  5. My kids...kids..dad...?
  6. Pssh pathetic couldn't even get 14 players on the list ...
  7. Take a look at most HOF coaches without a elite caliber QB and most records are .500ish. That seems to be the general theme, its also why I think John Harbaugh is the best coach in the NFL for a long while now as he has won a lot with two QBs who are also completely different styles. Bruce Arians I have always thought pretty highly of as virtually anywhere he coached he has had a lot of success with everything from dog crap at QB (John Skelton) to Brady and Palmer. Sean McVay might be the brightest star coach in the NFL as he won with a game manager esq QB in Goff and then was able to not miss a beat and do better with Stafford. I have said for a while Brady covered up sooo much of NE's flaws they had at any point it made them invincible in many ways. BB as a gameday coach is superb and still top 5 ever, but his GM work is very middle of the road and Brady hid much of that.
  8. IDK if anything Buffalo defends Josh from criticism to a level of insanity of point so I would say if anything it is the opposite.
  9. Lol I loved David Nelson, my wife did too although for an entirely different reason hahaha
  10. Hogan was a WR4 maybe WR3 at for a little guy which is great for any guy trying to make the NFL. Fans acted like he was the 2nd coming of Wes Welker and his loss was something huge when in the grand scheme it really wasn't.
  11. The entire radio/listening world is different now whether big or small. The ability to pick content whether it is through podcast or a station in an outside market has made everything more competitive. WGR is the flagship station for both teams right now so I think that in itself makes things easier for them, but even so there are more options then ever to listen to. Podcasts like Cover 1 are superb as they can focus in a way a radio station really can't. Radio has to have the ability to entertain, converse with listeners, and produce content that can mix adds in. For as many people like us who would listen to Cover 1, there are many who just want casual which is fine too so the radio cannot fully cater to that type of coverage even if quality wise it is superior.
  12. Agreed most of the drought the issue was less the Bills overall talent and the QB/coach being enough. HAD the Bills actually been 3-13 a lot they probably would've broken the drought earlier as they would've backed into a QB. But only two seasons they really were bad in 2001 after going 3-13 it led to Mike Williams and 2010 when they went 4-12 it was Dareus. 9 of the drought seasons the Bills were between 7-9 and 9-7 which is the absolute worst place to be but they usually would have 1-2 pretty good skill position guys (WR/RB) and enough guys on D to make it stick for a bit. Part of what made the drought the drought was the proverbial "In The Hunt" seasons as they were just close enough to be in the graphic but never good enough to make it. I have thought it will never happen again as the expanded post season makes me thinks even a really really bad franchise will luck out of it, BUT the Jets are cruising to what looks to be a 12th consecutive season with no post season. Maybe its just an AFC East thing and each team is taking a turn lol
  13. Anyone got the flow chart available of the preseason hype player we can't let go because they are going to be something? I thought it went something like this for the last decade: Jeff Tuel -> Bryce Brown -> Chris Hogan -> Brandon Reilly -> Christian Wade -> Duke Williams -> Blackshear?
  14. Some hosts I feel are made for certain environments. Schoop and Bulldog had a far more entertaining but seemingly thought out show when the drought exists. These days they feel like the same thing day in day out so I only tune in occasionally.
  15. Agreed. The beauty of their current show is Howard being a bit more reserved in approach (so it is hilarious when he losses it) whereas Jeremy usually has the hotter take but he balances it well. Too many of their younger guys are too aggressive with no restraint to show some maturity. Geary would terrify me if he went in that roll as what he does now is OK in small doses but it is wayyy too much in large. I honestly would love to see them go out of market to bring someone not local in.

  17. I picked the Washington Sentinals #FalcoIsTheGOAT!
  18. You could legitimately say the same about the Bills in 2020 as they beat held off the Phins week 2 in quasi shootout, the Rams last second, and needed a fumble against the Pats at home to win that game. I agree with you on point differential as I value you that pretty highly, but the Ravens have consistently been a high performing team for two decades now and since Lamar has arrived they have been even better. To me they have earned the right to be favored highly but I do think your points are valid. Rico and Machine Gun Kelly and I were commenting that the Ravens are probably holding back and stunting Lamar's growth as a passer by the lack of help WR. I understand the idea of trying to mold the offense in form of 2019 look wise, but Lamar can only go so far before his body will break down enough to neutralize some of his athleticism. I don't doubt he can be a great passer in a passing offense but it doesn't happen overnight and the longer they wait the more detrimental it is to them.
  19. It is why I said they have the widest range of outcomes of any NFC team. The talent is there that if he plays at a high level they can easily be 11-12 wins and challenge TB for the division. He also could throw 30 INTs again and they go 6-11.
  20. I would add the last thing the league wanted was the Watson story dragging into the season as a distraction of the regular season. They got a long enough suspension and large enough fine enough people will probably let it go when he returns. The only way at this point I can see this imploding again is if the Browns make the playoffs. IF that were to happen god knows how bad it will be for as long as they play.
  21. The fact it has made it this long AND the conversation has been civil is rather remarkable
  22. I generally think most NFL owners are all pretty dumb and brain dead/tonedeaf. But the Haslams, Ross, & Snyder reallyyy are another level of just putrid people. Haslam it isn't just this there has been a lot of pretty bad crap they've done prior.
  23. 11 games is also enough the story will die down enough to not be what it is now sadly.
