  1. Also age. I hate the hoodie but he did excel at letting guys go when they got to a certain point. We are not going to be able to sign everyone and the last few weeks have shown depth and a strong front 7 has worked well. If it is Oliver/Edmunds vs Poyer and one of those two I am leaning towards Oliver/Edmunds and letting Hamlin/Johnson fully get a shot OR drafting a new guy. Again I love Poyer and everything he has meant to the Bills, he is also 32 next year going on his 11th year. Like the godfather it is not personal it is just business.
  2. Wrong the kids are going to school at the field house. Unlimited gym and mass group teachings nothing can go wrong with this.
  3. Agreed. I thought losing Tyron Mathieu was huge as he is a close to elite level safety and can hide mistakes their CB make. They don't have anyone elite in the secondary at CB or SAF now so if that front 7 doesn't do its job they have issues. With that said not many teams can take advantage and if KC's offense is clicking it kinda doesn't matter. And yea cap matters, cap matters big time. I have to believe Beane watched Hamlin at safety and felt better if Poyer ends up walking. Poyer is amazing but there will be losses and if you have a guy who can replace at high level cheaper I get the move even if I really don't want him gone.
  4. NFL: The big news out of the weekend was the awful roughing the passer calls that happened in the NE-DET, TB-ATL, & KC-Raiders games. It has looked quite obvious that the NFL after Tua got knocked out on Thursday night two weeks ago has now over reacted by instructing officials to be hyper vigilant in their calls. This has now caused officials to be overly sensitive and spotters in general to be overly sensitive with hits on QBs. This is a problem. The issue with Tua was not the hit by Milano nor the hit against CIN. Milano's hit was a push that had a bad finish due to momentum and how Tua landed. The CIN play was a text book tackle and Tua's unwillingness to go door created a rag doll situation. The league as it has with many issues has gone too far in the name of safety and it is caused some really bad calls to result. This entire mess would've been a non issue had the NFL/Phins held Tua out from returning against Buffalo. Does he still get hurt against CIN? Maybe. But at least the guy wouldn't have played the rest of the Buffalo game when he clearly was hurt which perhaps allows a better situation for him vs CIN. The answer to this whole situation is common sense, a 7 year old would've said hold Tua out after how bad he looked against the Bills getting up. We do not need refs playing it overly safe on calls that are not needed or Bridgewater being taken out against NYJ just because for a split second he moved weird when you could easily see he was just tired. I want to believe this is small blip and things will even out, but the NFL is notorious for swinging fast the opposite way when things go bad in a situation so I am not holding my breath we do not see more of this. AFC BAL: Defense finally got it going but Lamar was off on quite a few throws that would've been big gains or a TD. Now is the time to work out the kinks and if the Ravens can they will be far more dangerous. BUF: Take every second of this team in and appreciate what we have. This feels like a special season and after so much pain and suffering seasons like this are the reward and not to be take for granted. CIN: Tough loss, but they seem to be getting it together slowly but surely. At the same point the offense looks to be figured out a bit and it is their D leading the way. CLE: The talent on the roster is there and Brissett is doing an admirable job at QB. Chubb has been superb all season and if they can ride him until Watson comes back they might have playoff hopes as the AFC looks more open then before. DEN: Russel Wilson is getting deserved criticism and he did miss Hamler bad on 4th down. He also had two TD's dropped throughout the game that would've made this a non issue. Wilson needs to be better, but luck has not been on their side either right now. Regardless Hackett needs to find 5-7 plays in SEA that were Wilson's favorite and put those in his lineup to get it going HOU: Lovie Smith has this defense chugging to a point they are in any game right now and got victory #1 Sunday. A bend not break defense held the Jags to two FG's and got an INT in the redzone as rookie Derek Stingley got his 1st INT of his career for HOU. IND: The Colts defense had a very good day against DEN as old "friend" Stephon Gilmore had a game turning INT and game ending pass breakup. Still Matt Ryan looks atrocious and the Colts as an offense are averaging a paltry 13.8 ppg and 333 ypg good for just 22nd overall. JAX: Another winnable game which Lawrence had turnovers that killed their drives and couldn't finish when they are in the redzone. The hardest thing for the Jags is the division is wide open and winnable, but you can't lose at home to Houston like that when the schedule toughens up soon. KC: The offense is cruising right now as they can pick their poison up front. On the flip side the Chiefs defense is the weakest it has been since 2017 as their secondary is getting torched deep as they are allowing 255 ypg (23rd in the NFL) and allowing 25 ppg. As the they found out against the Colts when your offense is slowed you need to be able to play some defense and this could be their one weakness long term. LAC: Gritty win that helps give some separation from other AFC teams while getting Herbert through another week without doing everything as he recovers. With Ekeler running well and DEN/SEA back to back at home, they have a chance to stack some wins as their players heal up into their bye. MIA: Divisions are not won 3 weeks in. I think Miami is a good team and playoff team, but they also are not world beaters and the attrition of the season is here. Bridgewater shouldn't have been held so fast as that really hamstrung Miami, but your defense can't allow 40 either as the Jets took advantage of turnovers and penalties to make their offenses life easier. NE: Bailey Zappe had a solid game for QB as they ran for over 176 yards against a porus Lions defense. Rhamondre Stevenson went for 161 yards and will see the Lions share of carries now with Damien Harris done for the year. NYJ: The Jets are 3-2 for the first time in forever and Zach Wilson has had two solid weeks at QB. The Packers will provide a much tougher litmus test for what this Jets team has going for it, but the fact this is even being said speakers volumes for airplane people. Keep feeding Bryce Hall NY. PIT: Steeler fans awoke to reality on Sunday of what many fanbases have lived with for a long term, when you are not good watching football can be really painful. Pickett actually wasn't bad, but it will be some time before they come back to being at the top which might be a tough adjustment for many steeler faithful. Raiders: 7-1 last year in one score games 1-4 in 2022. Absolutely gutting losses this year though that have basically taken the playoffs off the board baring a miracle. Josh Jacobs has been awesome though and he needs to be utilized more as it brings out the best in Carr. TEN: They are back on top of the division by riding Henry and as long as he goes they go. If Carolina does sell off players DJ Moore would be a huge fit here to help the passing attack. NFC: ARZ- In probably their best effort all year they pushed the Eagles until a missed game tying field goal. In an early playoff fate matchup they go to Seattle and if they can walk out with a win they will be 3-3 and get Hopkins back which all things considered isn't too bad. ATL- Bills fans have been there where playing Brady your boys give it your all and get screwed on a bad call. The Falcons are playing week in week out wayy above their weight class, but this loss was a gut punch when a potential division lead slipped away like that. CAR- The expected happened with Rhule fired after going 11-27 but now the real works starts. This is a franchise that desperately needs a vision and leader to chart a course for them. Additionally they have some pieces many teams will want, this season has a lot of pain coming but they need to finally structure for a full rebuild and maximize their draft capital. CHI- Fields had his best effort of the season and the Bears actually had a 22-21 lead in the 4th before Minnesota finished them off. Chicago needs more games like this from Fields to show that he is making tangible signs of progress. DAL- Dallas defense is dominating up front and that is slowing down so many offenses. Micah Parsons is the DPOY at this point as he has become beyond disruptive and a true game changer. DAL is at PHI on Sunday Night and it will be a great test to see how their defense does against that PHI offense. DET- If you see a Lions fan give them a hug. The hype and excitement of the season has quickly drained down to the bad for Lions fans as they are 1-4 and the offense that was at least scoring in bunches just got shut out. Campbell is a great rah rah guy, but the results are similar in year 2 and it is more and more feeling like same old same old. GB- The Packers only had the ball four times in the second half to the tune of two punts, loss on downs, and a sack on the final play of the game. Every time the offense starts looking better they follow up with a game like this and Rodgers looks incredibly off right now. LAR- The defense has its issues but the offense is a mess with the offensive line an ez pass and injuries at the play maker spots. They are really starting to run out of rope here even in the NFC and it is fair to question what Matt Stafford's performance has been this year. MIN- Since their last Super Bowl loss in 1976 the Vikings have made the NFC Title game every 7 seasons or so. Their last appearance was the 2017 season so this is only year 6, but why does this feel like a year when they find their way back only for more misery at the hands of Cousins. NOLA- Chris Olave is going to walk away with offensive rookie of year at the rate he is going pacing for 85 rec 1300 yds and 7 TDs. NYG- Smart game mgmt, utilizing your players properly, and a little luck go a long way. 4-1 and 3-1 in conference the G-Man can go .500 the rest of the way (6-6) and they will make the playoffs. With games against WSH 2x, SEA, HOU, DET, and IND they control their destiny at this point (good luck Daboll) PHI- The Cards give the Eagles a scare and Hurts was finally brought down a bit as he was held to 239 yds passing on the day. But 61 yds rushing and 2 TDs made the difference on 15 carries for a player who has elevated himself big time this year. SEA- Geno Smith is defying all expectations with another 3 TD performance and good QB play that is giving the Hawks a chance week in week out. Hard to know if he stays in SEA after this year but someone is taking a flyer on him next year to help push them towards the playoffs... its probably IND isn't it. SF- The 49ers are tied with the Bills in pts allowed with just 61 on the season. Jimmy G has been steady and the offense in general is complimenting the defense quite well to be a sledgehammer of a team to play. TB- Brady and crew know they escaped Sunday with a win. Leonard Fournette has been a revelation as he is on pace for 1612 yards combined and 10 TDs this year. WSH- The head coach through the QB under the bus, garbage truck, and presidential motorcade as another Wentz turnover cost them. Carson Wentz is putting up a hilariously good bad season that hasn't been seen since Jameis Winstons "legendary" 30-30 (TD/INT) season in 2019, maybe Wentz can be the second in the club. Seriously though maybe Geno Smith or Jimmy G come here in 2023 as solid if not unspectacular QB play without turnovers would have this team at 3-2.
  5. Yea like after games especially one that emotionally charged and the Raiders having lost every game one score and gut punch style Adams is probably at his wits end. I actually believe his apology as I can get over reacting after all of this, I just don't know a middle ground between fine v suspension that sends a message. I don't think the NFL does half game suspensions like some leagues.
  6. So after the game media is explicitly told not to be in the way its basically a no fly zone at that area of the end zone let alone being in the middle. The shove 100% was not warranted and had he helped the guy get up its a non issue. Even though the dude 100% should not have been there and made a major mistake in his own right, the action still was not justified and the NFL may use Adams as an example behavior wise while probably quietly taking that guys media credentials for a bit.
  7. I stopped waiting and just made a lego stadium instead. Capacity is limited but it can withstand wind and rain.. can't stop snow though
  8. I've seen online a few people try to actually say "well he didn't have to hit him like that" and I pretty much lost it. The guy has no business being on the field he is a legit threat. The one security guard looks to have hurt himself and people saying he wasn't going to hurt anyone welp, right lets wait until someone is stabbed or worse to actually take this seriously. It is pure stupidity and why society is where we are with some things because self entitlement reigns supreme. Call me jaded but I have seen enough things I never wanted nor expected to see in my lifetime ranging from shooting to two planes going into the WTC that I would rather be cautious for a possible situation then wait for one to occur. This wasn't some dumb college kid either like the LSU game who pretty much was stoned out of his mind when he walked out onto the field, the guy managed to actually bring a freaking flare onto the field. When we start allowing clear criminals loopholes it is only for the worse of society, I hope the guy sees 6 months in prison and the case is tossed quick.
  9. I believe they have to finalize the Dec saturday games by like week 10/11 something like that.
  10. Haha the dream. 2013 was the last 3 home games in Sept stretch NE, CAR, at NYJ, BAL. 2015 was close as the third home game was the Giants October 4th with IND, NE, at MIA, prior and last year was also close with the third home game against Houston October 3rd with PIT, at MIA, and WSH prior. The NFL tries to balance it out so I would think in 2023 Buffalo will probably have four home games by Oct 31st plus we have 9 homes game total next year.
  11. I would add to that having two incredibly tough games in a row was probably the best thing so they don't take any team lightly. While I expect PIT to be an easier game for the Bills, I do not expect the Bills to take them lightly.
  12. 100%. Now from what I have read the Rams have had a lot of success with homegrown talent over the years and round 2-7, but at some point the odds balance out. I am surprised they did not take a flyer on someone like Duane Brown for insurance (granted he is out right now).
  13. Bills 30 Steelers 17 The Bills don't cover the Spread! ... but it doesn't matter as a late garbage TD is the only reason. Buffalo pretty much runs rough shot as they score on the opening drive with Knox getting a TD finally and then picking Pickett on the next drive to get another TD on a Cook screen pass to go up 14-0 after the 1st. The Steelers get a FG mid second quarter but Buffalo answers with a FG of their own to go into halftime up 17-3. Steelers drive stalls out of half and Buffalo gets another FG to go up 20-3. Pickett throws another INT and Buffalo more or less ices the game then with Diggs TD for 30 yards as the 3rd quarter ends. PIT gets some garbage points and Bass gets another FG as the Bills cruise to KC at 4-1. Allen has not really had a great game for PIT I think finally he gets his day against them: Allen 24-31 340 yds 3 TDs // rushing 35 yds 3 att Singletary 73 yds 10 att Diggs 112 yds 1 TD 6 rec
  14. This is where their cap issue could cause long term harm. They need a LT badly as what they have isn't working right now, but they do not have the space to move for someone of decent value. The NFC being weak probably will allow the Rams some attrition, but at some point they gotta figure it out.
  15. Change the font to 9 and your good Exactly which is why I said what he did was correct. When you are facing Allen, Mahomes, Rodgers, Jackson you need to assume they can score at will even if you have slowed them down as their talent alone allows things to happen you cannot control. I think the bigger rage is BAL blowing two 17 pt + leads in a three week time frame which is magnified when they could've had the lead with the FG even if it was maybe the wrong call. Agreed. What the Chiefs showed like the Bills did against the Titans is when they are on they are incredibly hard to stop and unless you have a QB like Allen or a few others who can match that pace your probably toast. Truthfully TB's offense was not bad on Sunday, KC just got up so quickly it was a bit too far out of reach.
  16. It’s why I think GB was OK trading Adams. They have two really good RBs which allowed them to break in some youngsters at WR. They can balance it better then others. Inversely the Rams are all over and looks unprepared for what is thrown at them.
  17. i get you. Could be both, the lack of preseason I think has a big role in the offenses being behind. COVID caused two years where things were all over without unity, so I think offenses had an edge.
  18. NFL: The cover 2 shell look is here to stay and the results have been noticeable as offenses across the board have been slowed a bit more then normal. For years QBs were ripping defenses in incredible fashion which we got to see with Josh in 2020, Mahomes did in 18-19, Rodgers the same, etc.. but defenses and their DCs have made the goal to have a 1000 papercuts rather then one massive rip. That has at least proved successful in slowing teams as the more plays a QB is forced to run a drive the better chance for error mixed in. A lot has been said about the Packers slow start and some of that is Adams gone and offense breaking in two rookie WR (FYI add Romeo Doubs in fantasy if you can you'll thank me later.). But the adjustment of defenses is a big part of this and until offenses figure out a different way to attack, defenses will continue to force the easy passes down low and short. I would also add many teams are switching back to a 4-3 or even 5-2 look where they are not blitzing and depending on the four or five man front to make the impact on the QB. The Top 10 teams in the NFL in sacks PHI/DAL/SF/TB/BUF/DEN/GB/KC/NE/LAC have a combined record of 25-15 whereas the bottom 10 teams are 16-34. Obviously teams with high sack rates historically have had an advantage W/L record, but with the increased emphasis on a Cover 2 look, without blitzing, and safeties high the ability to get to the QB has an even more important role then before. AFC: BAL- The controversy on the 4th down go for it call vs a FG makes zero sense to me. The Ravens knew Allen was there and a FG still meant possible loss as Allen was rolling. As a Bills fan and the tables were flipped I would've wanted the Bills to go for it as Lamar is a special talent. With that said if they could get DJ Moore or ODB it would I think really help the offense be a bit more diversified. BUF- Big win and not just because of the whole one score thing. Standings wise BUF has the head to head over BAL, they have a common games win with MIA, and conference wise they are 2-1. I think 13 wins gets the AFC 1 seed this year, 12 means it is tiebreakers. The Bills need to get every tiebreaker they can at this point. CIN- For all the panic about 0-2 they have rebounded decently to 2-2. Their defense looks better then their offense which is good and bad. Its good that they are helping keep them in games, but Burrow and crew just look off at this point. Maybe SB hangover, maybe the Cover 2 shell, maybe they just overperformed and got hot and they are not as high performers as we saw last year. CLE- Tough loss at ATL as things even out a bit in Browny land. Jacoby Brissett has played as well as he can to keep the Browns season alive until Watsons return, but Sunday showed he is still limited and those limitations can be exploited. DEN- Well the offense finally broke 20 pts four games in... but the defense had a bad day and after Broncos offense got it to 25-25 the D allowed a game ending TD drive. The bigger issue is Russell Wilson is on pace for just 17 TDs on the year which would be a career low. Things will probably balance back a little as he is projected for 4100 yds, but this is starting to feel a bit like when the Bills got Bledsoe and you could start to see his best days were further behind then hoped. HOU- The Texans are going as expected so lets focus on RB Dameon Pierce who has had a great start with two straight 100+ yard combined games and a TD in each. Their offense is going to rebuild next year with a new QB, but he is a nice piece to help that new QB. IND- Owner is mad, fans are mad, retired alumni are mad, everyone's mad. Matt Ryan is headed for career lows, Taylor is hurt, other key players can't stay healthy, nothing is working. Thing is the Colts have been clinging for years to stop gap "easy" fix options at QB which worked decently in 2020, 2021 almost paid off until Wentz imploded at the end. 31 other teams are not crying tears as they had Manning and wasted Luck, but this is a team which maybe finally is realizing they need to take their medicine for a little bit and truly reset their team across the board most importantly though at QB. JAX- Turnovers will doom any team and 5 fumbles by Lawrence is all PHI needed to end this. Regardless they are probably the best team in their division and adding another pass catcher would help this growing offense. KC- Yours truly said preseason KC's offense could be better as it is more diversified now and what a performance Sunday. TB has had a rash of injuries and just looked a little old vs the Ferrari fast attack of KC. LAC- Needed win to right the ship and they knocked off a division opponent to sit squarely at #2 in the division. With the injuries piling up if they can get through their next 3 games @CLE , DEN, & SEA 2-1, they would hit the bye at 4-3 which all things considered isn't too bad and would allow them to heal up a bit. MIA- Pathetic. Utterly Pathetic and Scary that you would put a player in who was clearly hurt Sunday and could legitimately die because of their condition. Sad thing is this is just the must public display we have seen of this it happens in some other teams locker rooms where the win is ahead of a players health. Thursday was not a good night for the sport and if the NFL is going to actually care about the long term viability they need to be aggressively proactive in protecting players from themselves regardless of W/L record. NE- Spare me the moral victory crap, their the 2006-2009 Bills with some talent in a few spots but overall lacking compared to the rest of the field. It is glorious to watch although I have to admit Matthew Judon is a superb player. NYJ- Hey hey hey look at these Jets making some strides. Nice game for Zach Wilson to come out of injury and help them to a W on the road in PIT none the less. They are a year away but they will win a game or two against a bigger opponent at some point that will turn some heads. Sauce Gardner is up to 5 PD this season and the INT's will come soon. PIT- It is hard to admit that a favorite is mortal but reality is hitting hard for PIT. Their defense is missing its leader and the lack of talent shows back their meanwhile the offense is a mess. Moving to Pickett is the right move although doing so on the road in Buffalo none the less is really trial by fire. Regardless you got to see what you have and at least they are doing that. RAIDERS- This weeks game in KC feels like a must win if they have any division chances and even playoff wise. A lot of hype was thrown on Derek Carr pre season, but only once in his career has he thrown for 30 or more TDs (2015 32TDs), otherwise he averages about 24 TDs a year which is middle of the road these days. The remainder of the year is Carr also battling for his starting spot, the Davis family is not known for patience of late. TEN- The division crown is their path to the playoffs and they are back to being tied for it. Derrick Henry is on pace for over 1300 yds even though he is on pace for his lowest yards pet attempt at 4.0 a carry. The Titans have dominated their division since Tannehill arrived and how they handle the upstart Jags will go a ways to deciding their fate. NFC: ATL- 2-2 with both losses being one score and last second. Wilder things have happened and if they can just get a win in their next three (at TB, SF, at CIN) they then have CAR, LAC, at CAR, CHI, at WSH, & PIT. The NFC will have opportunities for wild card spots this year, maybe the plucky Falcons find a way into that group. ARZ- The Cards have not looked particularly well these first four weeks despite being 2-2, but a faceoff with the 4-0 Eagles is maybe the measuring stick they need. After the schedule toughens up as matchups with the Rams, 49ers, & Vikings await with even Seattle looking more formidable. No team will answer more questions this month about who they are good or bad then Zona. CAR- I feel bad for Panther fans heck I feel bad for myself as writing about this team sucks. Same deal as prior years as the QB isn't doing enough, McCaffrey is good when healthy, and the defense is opportunistic enough for them to lose close. Matt Rhule's days are numbered, but this team truly needs a new president or gm with a clearly defined vision because they have been adrift for years now. CHI- Bears fans are apparently surprised their not good and Fields isn't progressing. This is a public service announcement that expecting a second year QB to just improve because he should when you give him no offensive line or weapons generally is not an avenue for success. DAL- Cooper Rush managed to go 3-0 in relief with Dak due back soon. Dallas very much has their season alive and their defense has held every opponent under 20 pts. The Eagles are in two weeks, even if they lose to the Rams this week at 3-2 they will have a chance to make a statement. DET- 1st in pts scored, 32nd in pts allowed. Only Detroit could do something like that. But seriously the Lions were everyone's preseason wildcard darling, but reality is they are a year early as the defense still needs major work. The offense though has shown to have some real juice and they have lost every game close with losses to PHI and MIN being of no shame. Seattle though is a bit of a gut punch on the progress meter. I understand people really like Dan Campbell and his candid honesty, but results are going to have to show more the rest of the year. GB- Playing with fire at home as Rodgers pick 6 was nearly a catastrophe but cooler heads prevailed against NE. The rookie WRs Doubds and Watson are finding their way week by week and GB should be far more interesting on offense come the later weeks of the season. LAR- The 49ers have had the Rams number for a bit now (minus the NFC title), but the offense is sputtering right now. Allen Robinson has missing persons signs up, Stafford is getting beaten, and the RB situation is questionable. Maybe it is the SB hangover, maybe tough schedule, maybe McVay is himself a little burned out, but they need to get it together quick otherwise they will find themselves in a far more dire picture playoff wise. MIN- Watching this team is infuriating. They have so many good players on offense and some studs on D that winning should not be this hard. Kirk Cousins seemingly makes things harder on himself and I do not see how they move forward with him after this year. Regardless they won and are 3-1, but the potential left on the table is disappointing when you see the roster. NOLA- They played hard and Dalton was decent despite all the injuries, but they are already now 1-3. The NFC South looks weak and TB does not look strong so maybe they pull it together or maybe like last year despite some talent on the roster the sum of the parts just doesn't click enough to make noise. NYG- Every few years we get a team that is fun, 100% overachieving, but easy to root for and honestly this Giants team is that. It is hard to say if Barkley can hold up the season barring the load right now and Daniel Jones could turnover the ball enough it doesn't matter what anyone does, BUT maybe it lasts. Next four before the bye are London vs GB, BAL, at JAX, and at SEA. Find a way to go 2-2 and the G-Man come out of the bye rested at 4-3 with some winnable games potentially against WSH 2x, DET, IND, and HOU. Hey as we know wilder things have happened. PHI- This offense is insanely fun to watch and there may not have been a better offseason addition then AJ Brown to PHI. Strangely enough despite his incredible play Jalen Hurts has only thrown for 4 TD's despite 1120 yds passing although he has 4 rushing TDs. I would expect that to even out. SEA- Geno Smith is 10th overall in passing yards something I did not expect to write or say in 2022. Hey credit to him for putting in the works after all these years as he is making work with Lockett, Metcalf, & Dissly while Penny has 292 yds on the ground. I was not high on Seattle, but with the NFC looking week and every NFC West team having issues maybe they can get some wins and make it interesting down the stretch. SF- Good Jimmy showed up last night and when he does the 49ers look like a juggernaut. At 2-0 in division I want to say the 49ers take the West but Jimmy G can be very uneven and Kyle Shanahans conservative play calling late makes it hard to fully buy. TB- The Bucs feel like they will win the division at 11-6 just simply because their defense is generally decent and the offense can do enough. With that said this is not the same team we saw the prior two years and with Brady's personal life seemingly imploding I have to question the focus he is able to keep in a year he already doesn't look himself. WSH- Whatever good vibes existed after week 1 are gone. Three straight losses including two in division which they were not even close in either game. Maybe they right the ship with the Titans and Bears up next, but Wentz has been sacked 17 teams and has 5 ints already. Pencil them in for the #9 pick in the draft and move on.
  19. I think the closest the Bills have come to this was in 2016 they played 3 of the four NFC West teams in a four week period: Week 3 Arziona Week 4 at NE Week 5 at LAR Week 6 SF The Seahawks were week 9.
  20. The only reason I would say he doesn't is the NFL is on the retreat and knows this is an atrocious look across the board for the league. There is no way they want a guy playing after that considering the now two back to back hits he has and the outrage that has stemmed when it clearly looked like Sunday he was concussed and protocol was not followed to the fullest extent. If it was the Phins medical team he is playing. If it was the Chargers they would've brought him back from the hospital and played him last night.
  21. funny I thought about Trent after that hit. Tua has had a few injuries now and that big hit is the type that can scar a player long term. I hope for Tua's sake it does not but it was very nasty (legal though) to watch. QBs these days with the rules have avoided these types of hits for the most part which is why I think the combination of a concussion from Sunday which looked clear as day with another massive head hit caused what happened.
  22. Smaller capacity is multi facetted reason wise: -Money. Back in the day there were not luxury boxes, pre game club eating areas, post game parties, etc.. now owners and colleges can make more offering those amenities for 50 people then having 100 seats. -Comfort. 80k at the Ralph was great for atmosphere, but in terms of pure comfort and space left a lot to be desired. You can make a better stadium that fits people better with less capacity -Concerts/Events. Many of todays concert are more elaborate then ever with stage and space. Your probably saying Corta isn't this going against that grain then, kinda of but there is a reason. Older stadiums lack the infrastructure to put on events in todays realm for what the big artists want. A smaller newer stadium will be able to focus on these things far easier then a stadium double in size. Part of the reason the Bills were not hosting night games for a while besides the teams record is how difficult and large the Ralph is to setup. -Concourse. Large stadiums regardless of how well they are built mean a flood of people in the concourse moving around. I have read from NW fans and fans who have been to their current stadium it is a nightmare when the place is packed as it cannot handle the crowd. Smaller capacity means a more controlled crowd to fit the concourse being made. -TV like you said. Live events are competing more then ever so less capacity means a more filled house and you can focus on more to offer those people there -Market Size. Back in the day the goal was to build a big stadium and try to fill it to the brink regardless of market size. I read somewhere that the actual size stadium to fit the Buffalo market was like 59,000 and we are wayy over that. Most stadiums that are 15-20 years old now were built for markets that had a different style and life to today. The Ralph is 50+ years old it is beyond that at this point -Money. Less seats me more can be charged and higher demand. This already has turned into the most expensive ticketed season in history, now remove 5-7000 seats and it will push prices higher. Will people be priced out? Yep which sucks in a lot of ways although if you have seasons your getting a better return on what you pay. Those are my thoughts from what I have read and seen posted. Cheers!
  23. They were drinking blue lights the whole game!
