  1. Yeah - but we have seen how this team responds.
  2. The best loss I've ever experienced. You play to win the game. I would like to congratulate coach McDermott for not retreating into a shell, and for showing that this team is all in.
  3. I have always associated that with championship teams. It would be cool to see the Bills do it here.
  4. If we're going to have a different file for every halftime, this would be filed under "I'll take that."
  5. Wake-up call for the staff. Too conservative the last 2 times in the redzone. Just drive & score. Every time.
  6. I hope we're still airing it out when it's 38-0.
  7. I'm kind of enjoying ticked off, sad Vrabel.....
  8. Our defense is going to be what makes the difference this year.
  9. Let's just take a moment to appreciate the Allen-era expectation of winning pretty much every game. To contrast for the younger fans, 10 years ago, it went something like "if we can get a fumble or 2, and hold them to field goals, and just have a chance at the end..."
  10. I did once. It's pretty much like you would think it would be.
  11. I was ON the Tuel Train. All in. I can only smile now. It really does make one appreciate the good times.
  12. Buffalo wings are obviously the best - but Nashville hot chicken is really good. That's all I'll grant TN.
  13. It was a forward pass.
  14. Oh, I agree - and the "worry" comment wasn't directed at your post. I was VERY worried about him when the season started (and started a thread here on that), but I've become less so. It's still extremely early for all of these guys, so these kinds of conversations are premature. But as of today, I'm feeling like he's a typical rookie. He definitely has a skill set that good coaching can utilize.
  15. He has one good long pass yesterday - and the safety messed up the play. It should have probably been an INT. With each passing week, I'm less worried about him. It's all coaching there now - putting him in position to succeed. He'd be having a hard time on a lot of other teams.
  16. A little off topic, but Rogers going off on his "I own you!" thing to Chicago yesterday made me think about the Brady/Bills relationship. Brady was ALWAYS deferential. They have such great fans up there, they always give us a hard time, we have such respect for them, blah, blah, blah. To me, that was always worse than if he had gone full Rogers - it sounded phony & insincere, and we all know he was probably thinking how much he owned us while he was saying it. I can't say I would have preferred him going off like Rogers did, though. That would have hurt to here that. Still, I loved seeing Rogers do that yesterday.
  17. I mean, people always say the bolded, and that it's "just sports" - but I get bummed for days when my team loses, and most fans I know do too.
  18. In general, I agree w/ the sentiment. I saw that in Pats fans for years - it seemed like they got so bored with winning, they lived more for the misery of other fanbases. That was definitely true of the comeback against Atlanta in the SB. So, I stay away from that. Except for New England fans. I hope none of them ever smile again.
  19. If the Bills win, they have a 3-game lead in the division. In October. It was worth the wait.
  20. Everyone is underestimating Belichick on that one, imo. The Pats aren't as talented as other WC contenders - but teams always beat themselves against BB. It's really hard to watch.
  21. I really can't stand the Patriots. Can't they just take their 20-year run and lay low for awhile? They're going to get the WC, and BB is going to pull out all of the tricks if they play the Bills.
  22. I mean, Dallas got the TD on 3rd down there. The refs have been HORRIBLE that game.
  23. Giants should have picked Mac Jones.
