KC is just getting that rep now. They got the plus end of the officiating in the AFCCG, the SB and now tonight. It goes w/ the territory of having the top QB - and we saw it w/ Brady over & over & over again. Teams that play the Chiefs have to overcome that to win.
-
I really want the 1 seed this year. I know that's not some big revelation - but let's see how this KC team does if they have to play in Buffalo. FOR ONCE.
-
I can't wait to play this Chiefs team.
-
He did - but it was pretty ticky tack, the throw was bad & it was a total bail-out But it was technically the right call.
-
Allen gets so much more criticism than Mahomes for bad games.
-
This is the best team of the JA era. Hope I don't sound like a broken record. Better receivers than last year. Better defense. And much tougher. We're a hard-hitting, physical team.

Tre White Injury Updates (Torn Achilles now confirmed)
Success replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
My thoughts for how this affects the team are minimal. He was playing great - but we're always kind of good at CB, and I have faith in Elam & all that. Just gutted for Tre, more than anything. To fight your way back from an ACL, and then have this happen. Sending all kinds of good vibes to that good man tonight. -
Brandon Beane…..you have to bring in a Corner.

The thing is - we have this 1st round pick, who is definitely talented and has played well when he's had a chance. And he hasn't even suited up on gameday yet. -
I remember Pats fans when they had Jimmy G...."we have the 2 best QB's in the division." Loving every second of this.
-
We had a 1st round pick - who we know is good - not even suiting up this year. Our depth at CB is great. And I'm excited that Elam will have an opportunity. He's a talented player.
-
I never lose sight of making time to rejoice that the Mighty Patriots are now a mid to lower-tier team, without the talent or QB to challenge any of the good teams. And now they seem headed for at least a moderate stretch of QB purgatory.

Oliver is playing up to his draft position.

Mac. And. Cheese.

Who is ready to get back on board the hype train?
-
I hate the Tre injury, and it sounds bad. I feel terrible for him especially. But we should have won the SB the year we lost him before. And we have even better CB depth now. We'll be okay no matter what (but here's hoping the worst isn't true for Tre).
-
Allen has upped his game. He's responding to everything the defense is giving him, and making smart choices every time.
-
I love how people were writing this team off after the Jets w/ all of the "they're taking a step back this year" stuff. We have a great team.
-
We have a pretty good QB.
-
Our offense is CLOSE to as good as theirs. Our defense is better.

Flashback 1987: The Bills dominance of the Fish begins.
Success replied to Walking Tall's topic in The Stadium Wall
We were such a blockade for the Dolphins from that point on - especially during Marino's peak years. I mean, they had arguably the most talented QB of all time - and they just couldn't get past us in the '90s. If I was a Dolphins fan, I'd hate the Bills. -
Gotta appreciate being part of the weekend's marquee game

We fuss and fight a lot about this team, and the perceived "disappointments" so far in the JA era. There is generally more criticism than praise - which is hardly unusual. I think even Pats fans at the peak of that dynasty found things to complain about every week. But I still remember, as I'm sure many do. Playing at 1:00 every single Sunday, except when we had the Thursday night slot or were on the west coast. Being the team that most opposing fans had as a "W" on their schedule. Hearing about how well we punted, or how hard it is to win in the NFL. Knowing that we needed everything to go our way against the better teams to even have a chance. Sure, it's one of our few 1:00 games this season - but it's the one everyone is interested in. It's the one where the winner will be the instant SB favorite, at least for a week. It's the big game. Love it. Gotta appreciate every moment like this. 2 decades is a long time to wait, and who knows what comes after this glorious time in Bills fandom.- 14 replies

Kind of a wash w/ one of their better pass rushers out.
-
It's not a play or 2, either - he's very noticeable on a lot of plays now. Looks like the guy we thought we might get when he was drafted.

I watched a lot of the 2nd half of that Broncos game. That team 100% gave up. There was no effort. I love that Miami is the hyped team coming into this - and that our team doesn't have to play in the stifling. heat. There have been some games where I thought McD was at the top of his craft, and really designed a perfect defense for the opponent. The Ravens playoff game comes to mind. I've got a hunch on this one. I think that Phins offense comes back down to earth this weekend and the Bills win by 10+.

Terrel Bernard named AFC Defensive Player of the Week

Elam is the only guy preventing that draft from being a total home run. But I don't want to hot take that one. He clearly has talent - he may end up starting here, or being a good trade piece, so the evaluation on that is still pending.
