  1. Money, money, money. At what point do billionaires have enough?
  2. Our own fans are underestimating how good this team is, imo. Williams did alright today. He's not Milano (of course), but McD seems to know how to coach up LB's and CB's and get the most out of those positions. It was kind of amazing how well the D did today considering how many guys were out. And we're getting most of the injured guys back; who knows - maybe all of 'em. Really hoping that it's just a fracture for Milano, but if not, like another poster said - it's not like we're going to drop from a top 5 D to bottom of the pack or anything.
  3. I see a lot of these sentiments today. It's how it feels today - but it's not reality. This will STILL be a top team and be a contender for the title even if the worst is true. Milano is a great player - but our D is deep, and strong.
  4. Well, how did it turn out there, Rog? I'll tell ya - it sure looked like the team that DIDN'T HAVE JET LAG had more energy out of the gate.
  5. I wish I could give 100 "awesomes" to this one. It's October. Big injuries are MUCH worse late in the season. Obviously, if we really do lose Milano for the rest of the year, it's a biggie. But there is at least a ton of time for guys like Williams to get acclimated, and I wouldn't rule out Beane making a trade by the deadline. This is still a top tier team. We can beat anyone.
  6. If there are any positives - which there really aren't - it looked like Williams played really well in place of Milano. And Jones is such a big piece, but we do have great line depth. I'm grasping a bit, but this is still one of the best teams in the league no matter what the news over the next 24 hours is like.
  7. I'm happy for Moss. I always felt like he had more talent than he was able to show here.
  8. More of a mixed bag from him today. He had some nice tackles and jams at the line. But his coverage wasn't good.
  9. He was really great today, to be fair. He needs to be more consistent, but he made all of the big throws today.
  10. If we get ANY kind of good news on Milano (and Jones), I won't care much about this one. If this game is in Buffalo, we win by a mile. London is such a disadvantage - especially when the Jags had been there for over a week.
  11. Better early than late. Our best year w/ JA was after the Hail Murray when we got on a total roll in the 2nd half of the season.
  12. Another January in KC. Fine. We can beat that team this year.
  13. I feel like everything went against us this game - but we still showed a lot of grit. The D gave everything they had, down half their starters.
  14. Is it definitely a torn pec?
  15. Chalking this one up as "London game." We'll likely get the L, but health is the biggest thing right now. I'm not worried about this team in the long run if most of these injuries aren't too serious.
  16. Can we win a game like this? Not that we haven't, but more often than not, we don't pull of these tight ones. Good test here - let's see if we can change the narrative.
  17. Pass on 1st down = good. Run on 1st down = maybe another day.
  18. Epenesa is a different player this year. Impact plays in every game.
  19. That 2nd & 1 call - Dorsey just has to be better there. Too cute by a mile. Just get 1st downs right now.
  20. Of all of the great reasons to win a SB, finally purging ourselves of the "wide right" black cloud is near the top. Reminds me of when the Red Sox finally won it all. It let them bring Buckner back & finally put '86 behind them. It's gonna happen. And for the record - I absolutely do not blame Scott Norwood for that SB loss. It should have never come down to a long kick, and he was so great for us overall.
  21. Tre is going to help us win a SB eventually. Obviously not this year - but one of our next titles.
  22. If there was a "homer test," I'd get an A+ every time. I was sure we found a gem in Thad Lewis.
  23. Fun game. I thought Howell really came on in the 2nd half, and it looks like Fields is starting to put it together.
  24. I should know this, and it's probably discussed on this very thread, but I'm too lazy: how did the Jags get the draw of having 2 London game in a row?
