There is no way other guys aren't getting open. And if they aren't, that's on the OC. -

Cook rips off 2 15 yarders in a row.. That is when you go play action and get a big pass play. Dorsey says, hey, we're running well. Let's do it until it doesn't work. -

Coach needs to throw some footballs and pull out the "lollygagging" speech at halftime. -

That play may have saved the game. They need to come out of the half a completely different team than what they've shown so far. -

The hit didn't look like much, and his legs were still churning as he was going to the ground. Prayers. -

I'm not seeing the creativity from Dorsey. I feel like anyone here could do as good a job w/ the O. -

Might be time for a new theme. This one is played. -
Wilson has looked alright the past few weeks.
-
I really thought after Brady left that even w/ Belichick, the Pats floor would be 7-8 wins. Are we sure that guy is a good coach? It's an undisciplined, sloppy team. Watching the Pats in 2023 = watching very bad football.

Never gets old.
-
Me too - that's a really good D.
-
I'm actually pulling for the Pats. First time in over 20 years. I don't want to see them get Maye or Williams.
-
Finally! An answer to a question almost as old as time. It was Brady.
-
How can you say that the team is not good enough to withstand the loss of the 3 players....and then we don't even know what our new D looks like?
-
The reporting on the injuries to Jones & Milano has been pretty thin, but I take some positives from the fact that neither has been ruled out for a return this season. They at least hope that the timeline for recoveries is good. If that's the case - this version of the D just has to hold it down until January. They'll take some lumps, but w/ the offense we have, we can still get one of the top seeds w/ this D. I think even the 1 seed is still very much in play. Then, if we get 1 or both back, it's the old, often repeated "fully operational Death Star" thing. As long as we stay relatively healthy the rest of the way.

Kaiir Elam is a liability any time he is on the field

I think London was an anomaly. He played well last season. He has talent. They need to develop him this season without Tre out there, so at minimum he is very good depth. -
A shutdown corner? I mean, what cap space do we have? Are we willing to give up a 1st round draft pick? Seems unrealistic.
-
"Fatally flawed" has been mentioned here a few times since last week. That strikes me as such an extreme characterization. It implies something that this team simply can't overcome. I just don't subscribe to that. Losing Jones & Milano hurts - but we were dominating on defense for the 1st month of the season. Losing 2 players doesn't suddenly make us ineffective, or take us to the lower tier of the league.
-
It's not as good as it was a few weeks ago - but I still would have it in the 5-10 range in the league rankings. The front will still be among the best at getting pressure on the QB, and the LB's and secondary are both solid. All this talk of the Bills having to win shootouts now - it's kind of mystifying to me. We've been one of the best defenses in terms of keeping opponents from scoring. Even though we're not as strong w/out Milano & White, it's not like we're going from that to giving up 20-30 a game or something.
