Sal had on a local Buffalo meteorologist and he says most of the heavy rain will be after the game or very end of it. A shower here or there is likely during the game. He's confident in his prediction but says the storm could always pick up speed. But generally great plains weather doesn't have any surprises.

It rained a good bit Wednesday, a little yesterday and sunny today. Alabama had floods and had some casualties...looks like the stronger parts of the storm died out before hitting Atlanta.

One optimistic view of this is the weather predicted a few days ago, nonstop rain and flash flood warnings here in Atlanta. Today is sunny.

It will be. We got abused in the trenches in two games against them, both offense and defense. We need to set a tone against the DL and need to be nastier this time. If we can't run it, I don't like our chances.

Can you start a special teams one so we have all areas covered?

The Chiefs defense is bad. They are bad in all 3 areas...running, passing and scoring. From what I understand, the teams that have beaten the Chiefs have run the ball well on them. I still don't think we run the ball consistently well. They can't stop the pass either and that's what we do best. Are we going to have multiple designed runs with Allen like we did against the Steelers? Allen's attempts down to around 30? Multiple 2 TE set formations? I don't think we are going to see Gabe Davis much at all in this game. Maybe a 1/2 dozen snaps or so. I think we are going to be 3 WR sets most of the game.

I am thinking about bringing my 6 year old to the Monday Nighter at TN.
