  1. No, definitely no. The number 1 thing that can change the offense is the growth of Allen. I think there is way too much excitement over Beasely outputs basically what Zay did last year. 2018: Zay Jones: 16 games, 56 cathes 652 yards 7 TD's 2018 Beasley: 16 games, 65 catches, 672 yards, 3 TD's.
  2. I heard the comments and had no issue with them, it comes across quite different than the headline when you listen to it. Is he threatened by the rookie in the first round? Yes probably why would he not be. He is a pro who has done a lot in this league and the rookie will have to be quite successful to accomplish what Flacco has.
  3. And the "massage therapists"....cant leave them out
  4. As I was writing that I knew that was coming.......
  5. Yeah that is true. The Dolphins actually have had success beating them in recent years for whatever reason and of course any NY City team is way more of a rivalry.
  6. Pretty sure no team has been dominated more in the last 20 years then Pats over Bills. Living in NE, I often here about how the Bills "play tough" but for the most part I dont see it unless a cat plays tough with a mouse before it decides to finish it off which is how I have seen the last two decades for the most part.
  7. can you catch with a six pack?
  8. That is one dude who probably should not bash his head in anymore
  9. Probably a nice fit for NE. THey only have 14 picks to trade though so maybe it wont work out.
  10. Didn't they draft an RB in the first round? LOL
  11. IMOHe has a lot of room for improvement on short passes in general. Even when a pass is caught that does not make it a good pass. With the short game it’s a lot about ball placement and pace. The rb needs to be led away from defender etc. But be careful the “catchable pass” analysts may attack and scream that there are no accuracy issues.
  12. Quick Someone Call the waaaaaambulance
  13. Gore was signed as much for locker room presence/leadership as for his play. I think the intent is to keep him on the roster especially since they gave him a $500,000 signing bonus. But I guess him not making the final roster is possible but only if his performance is really poor. I see the more likely scenario is the Bills move on from McCoy if everyone is healthy but only because of his contract/cap savings. But a couple of them need to play special teams.....not saying they cant or wont but I don't think Gore, McCoy or Yeldon have done that much.
  14. The reality is he was not valued by NFL people like he was by fans. People wanted the BIlls to take him in the first, it seemed like he was expected by fans and media to go in the first. He actually went at the end of the second. We will never know if the Bills had any interest but the reality is they may have had a low grade on him and did not value him enough to trade up. What is in the media leading up to the draft is not all real...there is a lot of good info but not all of it is good. Lots of discussion on Sirius XM before the draft talked about how his cone drills were awful, he has speed but no quickness.
  15. Well in general Stars make more than non stars, no?
  16. Coming soon to a random living room somewhere in the greater Indianapolis area.
  17. I was driving back from vacation listening to Sirius XM. After the bills selected Oliver both Pat Kirwan and Gil Brandt loved the pick but both went on to say he needs to become “coachable”. I guess he complained a lot at the combine about doing silly drills and whatnot. Based on value its its hard to not be happy.
  18. Medical. Back and knee apparently
  19. Andy Dalton to Tyler Boyd. Seriously the JK sneak is the first thing I though of. A couple others: 1. Thurman Thomas TD in SB 25 in the 4th quarter. 2. Bruce Smith almost forced fumble in the end zone in SB25.
  20. IMO people was take "BPA" a little too literally. I have seen a bunch of posts talking about BPA which for me needs a little more definition. BPA sounds simple but it is not as simple as it sounds on the surface in my opinion. The reality is teams do look at positions of need and I contend this is not necessarily a bad thing. The reason is there is uncertainty in anyone's rankings and that uncertainty has to be considered. Best Player Available in the draft to some means you rank every player from 1 to N and then when it is your turn to draft you take the guy at the top of the list regardless of position. Add talent to your roster, more talent is always better. That is the general philosophy right? But then why do teams consistently take players at positions of need? I believe the reason is uncertainty in rankings makes it reasonable to take a guy at a position of need vs the guy at the very top of your list. Rankings are based on data and subjective opinions. Obviously you can measure how fast, how big, how flexible someone is. But there are other factors that go into a players rankings, injury history, desire/hunger to play the game and many other things For instance, lets say you rank each player with a score from 1-100 but because the rankings are somewhat subjective there is an uncertainty in anyone ranking of +-3 points. It is your turn to draft, there is a LB with a score of 91, a OT with a score of 89 and a guard with a score of 90. You need a tackle and are deep at LB. Do you take BPA, the LB because he has the highest number? Pretty much no teams do this, they take they guy that is close but at a position of need. Now if you take a guy outside of your uncertainty window at a position of need, you are probably reaching. There are other factors also, if the draft was heavy with LB's at high numbers you may take a guy at a position that has scarce talent knowing one of those LB's will likely be there next time you draft. My 2 cents....
  21. Jerry improved on his stupid penalties last year. The only thing left is to close the deal and wrap the damn QB up for the sack.
