  1. All aspects are important. QB was and still is #1 no matter what happened this weekend.
  2. How was that cheating? The Steelers could have substituted but chose not to. The plan to waste game clock worked well, it was smart of BB even if you hate him it was solid coaching.
  3. That is skewed though, if you take away throws to outside WR's for any QB their percentage will go up. What is left is screens, shorter passes to backs, TE's and slot WR's. For what it is worth, Allen's completion percentage has gone DOWN since they waived those two guys. I would be surprised if anyone watches Allen and does not see that there is an accuracy issue, it was an issue coming out and we have seen it all year. Having said that he has made a lot of strides since coming back from his injury. He plays smart, gets guys to jump and throws it deep, gives players a shot on 50/50 balls, his balls have had a better shot at being complete than earlier in the season but not sure how to measure that. He can throw a nice bubble screen, would like to see more of that. He has to develop touch on short passes but if he continues to improve we might have something special.
  4. The contract is the contract, its not an easy out after one year though. If they do, they have to admit the signing was not a good idea. Look how long they held onto KB when he did not even try, who was their choice. A Whaley deciphile like Clay is easy for them to waive even with the dead cap. The plan was not for a one and done, can they get out? Yes. But they will probably be leading the league in dead cap again next year when they get done waiving all the bad contracts they have. Your goal should be 0 dead cap, to plan for 3.5 million for someone is not a good plan.
  5. It was “designed” to have a 3.5 million dead cap. No team would say oh it’s only. 3.5 million dead cap its an easy out. That would be a terrible plan and admitting a Terrible signing. Don’t think that happens with this regime.
  6. I saw that Allen is last in the league in adjusted completion percentage. Meaning they account for drops. Allen’s inaccuracy is not due to Benjamin it’s due to himself.
  7. Mcdermott and Allen for Reid and Mahomes....done
  8. It would have been nice if he did not fumble but they probably don’t win that game. Dallas was smway more talented and the bills were doing it with smoke and mirrors in the first half. Dallas ran ran the same play over and over down the field on the next drive. The whole words knew what play was coming g and still buffalo could not stop it. They were overmatched. And that is not to disrespect them. Dallas had a ridiculous roster
  9. Tyrel Williams has decent stats but that is because he plays with Rivers. If he was in Buffalo the last 4 years he would have had 500 yards max for any one season and people would call him trash.
  10. and NEVER happens. Since that first game with Bledsoe against Brady the Bill have won one game when Brady started and finished (in a meaningful game). Sure it would be great if it happened but dont hold your breath.
  11. Josh Allen Development is #1 Draft Capital #2 Little of anything else matters very much
  12. Continue to see growth out of Allen. Not that worried about losses this year.
  13. "In play reads" are really where you need to get to to be great. You can have a great arm, be super intelligent, know all the routes and all that but its all about reading and reacting before and after the snap. RPO's, option routes etc......you have to be able to react to the defense more than just execute a particular play well.
  14. It took long cause this regime traded for him. If he was a Whaley deciphile he would have been gone long ago
  15. The bills can be the league leader in dead cap two years in a row.
  16. We need an injured linebacker?
  17. With 80 million in cap space the bills are not likely to get any comp picks.
  18. Anyone who pays attention to people calling a second round pick the “biggest bust ever” is kind of ridiculous. Ignore the noise. Did people really say that?
  19. I think his issues this year are more related to the way they are using him and deficiencies in blocking rather than him being older. He still has the quick moves. Having a different OC with a different run game approach changes things for a guy like McCoy. I also think he needs to get back to more one cut and go. At times in his career he dances and bounces things too much. in any event, he may be gone after this year.....he has a 9 million dollar cap hit and a 2.6 million dead cap if they move one, so they can definitely choose to move on. I am not sure we want to depend on him given his ex gf situaiton....he could be placed on the exempt list over that.
  20. Hughes is passionate. I like that but this was completely stupid. Nothing good could have come from it. Focus on what you can control Jerry.
  21. Lots of missed ipportunities by this team but Allen showed us a lot today. If he can get his accuracy down he will be a real weapon.
  22. He did not get his head around. That was an easy PI to call. To be going for the ball you have to look for the ball.
  23. Nice game by Allen. I personally am not too concerned with the loss. Allen though the ball net year hopefully we will have someone who can catch it. The penalties are worse than under Rex.
  24. I don't think the benefits outweigh the potential benefit. Running backs can be found in rounds 2-5 rather routinely. You might be surprised at his lack of production in a different system.
