I agree if you look at total yards and TD's it looks decent. But what jumps out to me is 2765 passing yards as being awful low for NFL standards. Moving forward he will need to get more though the air and less on the ground to stay healthy but I also think that will happen. I like his leadership and win at all costs mentality. They need more talent on offense so that will help and from watching the first 6 vs last 6 games he played there was a noticeable improvement so if he continues that we may have something.
Here is something he and the line improved on from the beginning of the season....sacks against. This was both due to Allen and the line improving.
First 6 games: 23 sacks.
Last 6 games: 7 sacks
So this is one of those things teams have the power to do but rarely execute? Sounds like a Coughlin type of thing to do but at the same time, some of these players need to see there are consequences to their dumb actions
i agree if you want to point to one thing, it is the defense, not the offense/Cousins. Cousins is not a throw everyone on his back and win no matter what type of QB, but I also dont think that is what they thought they were buying.
Mills went after Alonzo hard after the hit. They never showed that part of the replay. Probably deserved the ejection but it’s one of those to be proud of.
I dont agree. It was a way bigger need last offseason and it got addressed. They will need to find a rotational guy in FA, could be Jordan Philips or similar. The needs of this team are on the other side of the ball. But if BPA is head and shoulders a defender then you have to do it regardless of position..... but then again that does not happen all that often.
hes 35 instead of 34 and has about 57 million instead of 52....all things considered not much difference there other than you reading into things. Jauron "almost won" LOL is that what we aspire to? Jauron had like 5 years too. you seem really upset for someone who takes losses like a big boy. The Bills are close to last place in the division, the Pats first in the division. The Pats were at home and needed to win while the Bills were in Christmas mode with nothing to play for other than pride. So one team is clearly better, playing at home and with something to play for and then you get surprised when they win handily. That is just silly. I saw exactly what I expected to see and it had no impact on my day.
And that is all totally different than the first 13 years of his career? He just now realizes they cant beat NE? You seem butt hurt over last week though, not sure why, what exactly did you expect?
Rumors are Kraft put his foot down when BB was ready to trade him. I dont think Kraft is the problem, it would be BB. But as long as he is performing they will keep him around. He wont be getting some huge deal with lots of guaranteed but he never has. If his play deteriorates then you could be right.
He wants an NFL job so he kind of needs to be all in. The guy was out of the league. Based on the Jets game, I think he would make a decent backup option moving forward.
