Referee Tony Corrente corrupt as *****!!!
Matt_In_NH replied to Bubba Gump's topic in The Stadium Wall
Do we know if 59 said anything that you dont see on the broadcast? Social media will be the downfall of us, not poor officiating. Officiating has not gotten worse, rather the rise of social media and slow mo repplays available minutes after something happened is what is new. I would challenge you to show real factual evidence of "corrupt officiating" discussed on social media. What you will see is internet loudmouths speculating on conspiracy theories to explain a game (or whatever) did not go the way they think it should have. -
Mac Jones attempt to injure Brian Burns?
Matt_In_NH replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
That was bizarre. Not sure the "intent was to injure", rather keep the guy from having a chance at the ball. Injury happened, I get that....it looks bad, he will probably hear from the NFL. -
A glass half full or half empty with poo is nothing I want anything to do with.

Actually the DE and Dawkins stuffed Allen. He literallly blew his ass right into Allen.....from LT!

So, the game was close? Said another way, I think the Bills on paper are one of the best 5-3 teams ever. However, not being able to put teams away is a problem. Not getting it done in the 4th quarter is a problem. These guys got it done in the 4th last year.

Not sure what the advanced stats say but Dawkins has had a number of awful plays this year. Largely the same players last year created nice pockets for Josh for much of last year.....I am somewhat optimistic they can straighten things out some.

There were missed opportunities all day. The offense was totally out of sync. While it may be true about Davis and that play, it was one play and this game never should have come down to one play. Oh and dont underestimate this offenses ability to completely screw up 1st and 10 at the 20 by creating a 3rd and 35 from the 45 through penalties, bad sacks, etc.

Beat to stay off the social media and WGR for a week. Gonna be a ***** show -
This is where I am at also. They need to get their ***** together. last year Josh had clean pockets sometimes standing flat footed like a statue for what seemed like forever.

Feels like a drought era game -
8 man blitz, its a numbers game. The good news is we have a qb that kills this.

Derrick Henry potential season ending injury
Matt_In_NH replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
Derrick Henry is a unicorn at the RB position. His size, speed and up to now, durability make him significantly different than any other RB in the league. -

Has league-wide officiating gotten worse?
Matt_In_NH replied to The Red King's topic in The Stadium Wall
Unpopular opinion. But I thinks it’s better but the job is way harder than people realize. Expectations are way up. Look at the 80s games on YouTube. You will see ints called that were 100% not ints. Same with fumbles and tds. They get those right now. They get catches right way more than a few years back when any little thing made a play not a catch. holding PI and other subjective calls are still inconsistent and are the reason for almost all criticism. The pi replay replay tried was awful. Might need to rethink that some way. if you are looking for holding or pi or hands to the face on a scoring play you will likely find. It. Do you really want all those called back? also bills fans like fans of any team can point to all the non calls that killed their team. Yet they have little to say about non calls that would have gone against the bills. My point is there is a big fanatical bias to ref criticism. -
Trubisky playing time against the Jaguars
Matt_In_NH replied to maryland-bills-fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
We should make sure to win the game....no matter what people assume, those are legit NFL players in Jacksonville. You start dropping the ball, missing tackles, giving up some big plays you can actually lose...it is possible. -

Is there any other answer than run the clock out in the 4th?
