  1. What were any of these guys before they won a SB? Many of them were fired at various times.
  2. The fact it takes many days to get a player on boarded/through covid protocols before they can be on a roster, this is not a bad idea.
  3. They have more than bills fans. https://smartasset.com/mortgage/cities-with-too-many-too-few-sports-teams
  4. I think it was that it was late and not where he hit him. If he can let up after a throw he needs to.
  5. Run d is better but no pressure even when blitzing on herbert
  6. They must not be happy with Krofts blocking.
  7. My opinion of the Dolphins during that time is that Shula gave Marino too much control and he would constantly check out of plays to passes. It worked enough and he had enough cache that he was able to get away with it. But when it came to games against good opponents like the Bills it did not work. So many games against the Bills ended up with 4th quarter INT's thrown by Marino when trying to catch up. The Dolphins often tried to focus more on the run game but Marino constantly derailed it. I remember an interview when he was asked about it and said something like "running the ball is nice, we can do that once we are up by a couple touchdowns". He was his own worst enemy....this was an era you truly needed to run and stop the run.
  8. The Broncos could not sign a new guy given protocols of onbaording and they tried to get some kind of a petition to sign a coach I guess and the NFL declined it. Why would you need a petition to sign a guy even if he is a coach? It is fair that he would not be subject to the multitple day onboarding/covid testing. Seems plausible to me. Anyway, the fact the QB's were not wearing masks together takes away any leniency the NFL may have given them. The Bills are smart how they are handling Fromm.
  9. Not sure the nfl has said but You laid it out. If it can’t be played it could get cancelled at this point. Likely will go into a postponed state to see if other games go down the same road with a potential week 18. If this ends up being the only one and it has no affect on final standings it could get cancelled. If there are 5 games like this and it affects the standings then the week 18 thing happens. The league cares about revenues over “fairness”. For those thinking the league treats the titans different than the ravens why would that be? The nfl MVP vs a small market. This is COVID in the year 2020. Plans and protocols change all the time. There is no conspiracy.
  10. Is this a preview of what will happen for the first bills horn playoff game in a quarter century.
  11. It means at least three weeks. That sucks and is more info than we had before.
  12. What do you mean? This is the NFL dude, injuries are as common as touchdowns. And right now the bills have nice things!!!! Looks like we might see Isaiah Hodgins.
  13. There was a lot of hype for Davis not as much for Hodgins in TC. Size and speed sounds good. But who gets left out if he plays. McKenzie, Davis? Maybe he can do what Kumerow does on teams? a d we are saying 7 for 7 as hits in this draft? Lol that’s a fantasy.
  14. He could not wait to get to his ***** (marital device)
  15. Changes to offensive philosophy, rules protecting quarterbacks and sports medicine all huge contributors here. This is why you cannot compare QB's from different era's with stats. This is also why I believe an argument can be made that Montana is the GOAT.
  16. True! But he was not convicted and this is me too times. Oj was in before the murder and he was acquited
  17. I think the registered sex offender thing might impact things for him.
  18. I would claim him if he gives me a signed picture of Grandma
  19. I agree with your premise that you need to get a franchise QB and then you can be consistently competitive for an extended period of time. However, once you have that the other pieces do also matter. I absolutely disagree with "The QB is all that matters", you need coaching, strategy and the right guys at the other posititons. It is much easier to get the "right guys at other positions" once you have a QB. The decision to draft Love is strange given Rodgers age and reasonable expecation to play another 4 years. Unless the Pack is strategizing to move on or Rodgers has given them a time frame it was a bad decision in my mind. You surround that franchise QB with as much talent at the other positions as you can. Drafting a QB in the first round does not do that. So you are both kind of right. Just because the Chiefs sat Mahomes for a year does not mean he would not have performed as a rookie. And overall the Alex Smith/Mahomes thing is totally different than Rodgers/Love. Rodgers is one of the best of all time, Smith is average.
