Week 6: Chiefs at Bills (+5): Monday 5pm on Fox

What time Sunday is bills chiefs? -
So you did not intend forfeit as one option? What did it include? Let’s have some teasonableness and consider the options the commissioner laid out which includes lost picks, fines, suspensions and forfeits as possible punishments . It did not include that other nonsense you are throwing out there. It was absolutely reasonable to assume forfeit was on the table given your strong words and the reasonable happening in nfl circles. You should be more specific in the future if you are going to get all offended when you leave something open ended. You could have responded with “ I don’t agree with a forfeit but they should lose two first round picks” and clear up your vague statement. Come on man!!!!

And that is what it is when these things start happening....at first it looks like advantage Bills when the Titans Steelers would get moved to Tuesday. Then it because advantage Titans (they get a free bye week). Now its advantage Bills for the Chiefs game. No matter what come from all of this the bitching will be off the charts across the league.

People generally want guys who have fantasy stats at the wr position. Any wr who is not fantasy worthy should be replaced by a guy who once caught 2 tds in a game. Special teams specialists? Figure it out some other way. Anyone can do that

I hate the idea of getting a win (or a loss) by forfeit, ******************************************** There are other options, go by win % and play 15 games vs give one team a loss and one a win. They could decide what to do later. If a bunch of other games end up in this same situation, then an 18th week is more reasonable. I said this before the season, get ready for an unfair season. But I was figuring different teams would play different amounts of games and they would go by win%. Win by forfeiture is cheap and will be seen as cheap by the public. I say that with the understanding the Titans screwed up.....I still dont like it. And that woudl be fair to the OTHER teams, not talkign about the Titans....how would you feel if the NFL starts gifting wins to the Pats.

Anyone Else Having Trouble Dealing with this Success?
Matt_In_NH replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
30 years ago the bills had played in 0 Super Bowls. There have been a lot of good years sooner than 30 years ago including last season to a degree. The other thing to point out is while I share your optimism....what success have we had exactly? 4-0 start? That happened in 2008. We have been “fooled” a couple times. I am not being Sully. Just pointing out we have a ways to go before we can really claim success. Let’s win the division and win in the playoffs. Enjoy the ride but we have yet to beat our nemesis. -
When can we expect Allen to sign a long-term deal?

The pegulas are gonna have to save up...., -
What a disaster. No cap with young guys signed to new deals.

Today. They are 22-30 year olds largely. Brains are not even fully mature for some. They are not incapable of making a bad decision. Do you really think they are that special? I do think organizationally they are near the top of the league but any team could be the example if someone steps out of line.

Allen has stopped running??? Any reason
Matt_In_NH replied to Billsfan1972's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That is what you want! If he has to run to win fine run but if you can move the ball and win without running, that is much preferred. That is an element of his game that is good to have but only use it when its really needed. -
Hypothetical: Chances we regret losing Daboll?
Matt_In_NH replied to jletha's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think they would be best keeping Dabol but it is not necesarily the end of the world if your QB is great. Another OC can get plugged in, in some ways it would have hurt more after last season, before Allen had made a major leap. Ideally maybe Dabol does not want everything that comes with an HC position and we can pay him more to stay OC. Dabol will get a lot of credit for "developing" Allen. A lot of people seem shocked how far Allen has come. So I would think there is a good chance someone will give him a shot.
