  1. At the initial presser after he was drafted Beane said strictly WLB then a day later they changed it to both. I think the options at LB were not what the BIlls wanted but took someone they saw some potential in.
  2. I think if Crowder had stayed healthy you can have a point but the reality is the guy did not play. Sherfield is an upgrade over Kumerow. Harty is more talented than mckenzie but the major concern with him is health. He has struggled to stay available. I think you have a pint with RB. But I do like Harris over Singletary by a smidge. He brings a little more physicality. But the difference is this year the reigns will be handed over to cook and if he continues an upward trajectory RB may be stronger.
  3. Nice job by Josh, the writing though........must have been done by the scabs
  4. True but the random internet guy is rarely correct...it happens just do to random events.......statistically someone wins the billion dollars in Powerball...not saying it can't happen.
  5. which is why Deandre Hopkins is a Bill. Manipulation and "there is no cap" are not the same thing. It does not matter how much money an owner has, there are limits.
  6. "we" as in the Bills? How did this conversation get to that point? Anyway, there are many here who think there is no salary cap.
  7. Not really......maybe its just no one knows. If anyone has Netflix, watch a documentary called Victim/Suspect....it will shed light on what happens in these situations. A lot of times when the accuser ends up being charged it is likely situations when they were in fact victimized but they dont know the details......it's quite sad.
  8. We have that same conversation in my house every year!!!!!! haha
  9. Wow there is a game this Thursday.
  10. Beane and McDermott have specifically said in recent days, he is a WLB right now and that is where he is focusing.
  11. I think Miami did a good job hiring McDaniel and their new DC is also a good hire. They have talent too. With the Jets I think they have a legit roster and if Rodgers if focused/rejuvenated and last year had more to do with a thumb injury they will be a tough out. The Jets are always a tough out for the Bills for whatever reason. The Patriots will "play good defense and run the ball" and so they will win some games also. But they all have to play the Bills twice. It is not as clear cut the Bills own the East this year but until someone knocks them off the hill, the Bills are still there.
  12. You know the saying, if you have 4 middle linebackers that means you have none. Not a saying, well there should be one. Hopefully someone takes the bull by the horns.
  13. This is typical of any NFL team and yes it has been public knowledge in previous offseasons also.
  14. The Chiefs are starting with 77 million more in cap space than the Bills for 2024.
  15. The Bills have a ton of cap space to overpay an RB whose best days are probably behind him. Let's do it
  16. I'll just say no one know the real truth here. When the reports came out it was awful for Araiza, now that the investigation information is out it sounds the opposite. When drugs and alcohol are involved there is a lot of room the truth being somewhere in the middle. I know drugs have not been mentioned I am just talking in general. I attended some frat parties and saw some terrible things happen to females that while were terrible, no charges are really possible because of the level of drunkenness of everyone involved. I get what people are saying about this ruining Araiza's life, some of these incidents ruin the females life too though. My point is simply no one knows the full truth.
  17. Can’t wait to see those Josh Allen highlights on that thing. Or Stephen belichick doing that tongue thing and his father throwing the tablet.
  18. As does most anywone.
  19. When Cunningham played at 35 he did not run much......that is the key, Josh has be long term be able to dominate more as a pocket guy. I think it will be fine, he knows it. He can already be successful as passer.
  20. I explained the reason.
  21. I think the 12 personnel thing is getting blown out of proportion. If Kincaid plays a lot and is split out wide, how is that really different than 11 personnel? He is a bigger body, that will mean something but if he was to be unavialable, it would seem plausible to me to replace him with a WR vs "has to be another TE". Now if they are going to line the TE's on the LOS then I agree they need more, I am not sure that is the plan. I often think about personnel groupings and stats of them are misleading. You could have a RB that lines up in the slot, you can have TE's that was spread.....I have always thought it would be good to track both personnel groupings and formations. Because for instance, there may not be any real difference between one teams 12 and anothers 11 other than one guy has "TE" instead of "WR" next to his title but they do the same exact thing.
  22. This game was epic....I would like to watch it again if I had time. It was weird how much the Bills offense had the ball, how many plays they ran, how successful they were but they did not generate points. Other than the loss, the thing I hated about this game was the belly aching over the weather which is very unBuffalo like. It was a war of attrition for the Bills offense and being in the sun had something to do with but so did living in a different climate and so did the shear number of plays run by the offense.
