I was hoping that he would be a stop gap until we found someone better. I was hoping for a lot more out of Peterman, I am not sure he is even a serviceable back up at this point. Looking ahead to the draft, Cleveland will certainly be taking a QB with the first overall pick. The Giants, Broncos, Colts, Cards, and Jets are all in the Qb market as well. What do the Bills do? Do they trade all our picks to move up to number 2 and take Darnold or Rosen? Should they stay put and take a chance on a guy like Allen or Mayfield in the second? Should they hope a guy like Lamar Jackson fall to them in round 1 (you better find a creative OC)? If they don't hit on this position this year we are going to be talking about the same thing five years from now. The worst thing would be to have Peterman play okay and they decide to go with him and not address the position.

Just a repeat of 2011.

It is going to take more than one offseason. I say focus on Qb in the draft and oline with remaining draft picks and target some good interior lineman in free agency. After we have a QB and oline in place we can worry about a defence the following year. There is no way I am bring a rookie Qb in behind this line though.

This is a rebuilding year, they haven't even had an offseason together yet. Lets see how they do next year.

I think the coaching staff believes Peterman gives them the best chance to win. I believe it as well. Taylor was not capitalizing on turnovers, creating too many 3 and outs, and threw away wins in Cincy and Carolina when the D played well.

On to the draft. If we lose this game I don't see how we can make the playoffs. I will start watching games on some of the qb prospects.

Honestly even if we snuck into the playoffs at 8-8 who cares. This team showed it can't compete with the big boys. Our "playoff" game would look a lot like the game today.

The system may be good but he is not a good situational play caller. He has way too many predictable play calls. I don't see him being able to create match ups that put his playmakers in good situations.

Ya I don't know if Alabama could get 14.2 yards per rush against a div 2 school. Our DTs and Preston Brown are so bad.

Its crazy how similar this team is to Jauron's teams. If we go 7-9 it will be like deja vu. I really don't want to repeat that era.
