SF over NO-Im' sure the 49'ers weren't hoping for record highs in the 60's but NO is a different team on the road than at home where they are unbeatable. The SF D is awesome and they'll slow down NO to keep it close. The question for me is can SF put 7's on the board instead of 3's. 24-23 NE over DEN-With respect to what Tebow has accomplished his time is over. Brady will do his usual shredding and i don't believe DEN will be able to keep up unless NE turns it over 3-4 times. 34-20 BAL over HOU- A third string QB w/ a separated shoulder is going to come into Baltimore and be able to be mistake free? Unless Flacco totally melts down (which could happen) BAL is moving on 17-13 (A side note, wouldn't be funny if this was the best game of the weekend?) NYG over GB- I know, i'm insane, but NY gets pressure w/ just 4 and that is huge against Rodgers. Eli and the offense can make big plays of their own and will against the GB secondary....and you can also factor in that they are playing their best ball late in the season ala 2007. 34-31 OT Well, everyone, enjoy the games

Wow, i think adding Riter to the station again would be just more of the same banal, unprofessional, weak radio that has defined GR for many, many years. Let's face it, GR is a very below average sports talk station. Howard Simon is as milquetoast and lame as a broadcaster as they come. Not that he's not critical it's just he isn't very good broadcaster. His sidekick offers nothing. How Bulldog still has a job is totally amazing. Inarticulate?...that's him...Generic obvious thoughts?...thats the Dog......inane commentary and insipid attempts at humor....i think you know who. Some should tell their "producer" Greg that he is not funny at all! A good radio show (regardless of topic) should breathe like a bottle of wine and have a flow to it like a river. Check out WFAN or KNBR if you want to hear a real way to approach the format.

Sure......4,000 tickets were sold for New Years at the Statler....totally oversold.....being part of a one day hire we were under the gun from the start.....i think it could be characterized as a screw-up of epic proportions....people were waiting 30 minutes for a drink.....at one point i just pulled the cord and basically threw beers and a bottle of Goose at my table....its a beautiful place and it looked like the stadium after a game at the end

Well, I was one of the few that worked the room....believe me we did try our best (those that stayed on the job).....that being, what a nightmare.....plenty of people are very unhappy.....@$150 a pop i dont blame you.

I agree.These were my heavy touring days. This was the last Golden Era. I always felt they were never the same after Brent died in '90. '91 was very good but after that their game started to slip mostly due to Jerry's drug habit...and don't get me started on the choice of Vince. All in all, thanks for sharing...good to see fellow Deadheads here

One additional note about this game. The NFL has changed the start time to 4:15. So here in the Buffalo area it could be a nice triple header w/ BUF-NE at 1, BAL-CIN at 4:15(and hopefully some coverage of the AFC West games) and the DAL-NYG at 8:30. Stock the 'frig
