Panthers signing Raheem Blackshear off PS
Rc2catch replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
lol you must not have been following the great coach Rhule the last few years. Almost all his moves have made zero sense since he took over. -
I know one player that does not want to see 57 this week.. Epenesa almost broke Tua in half last year. He might be the hardest hitter on the defense, he really brings it when he has the opportunity.

How in the world do you stop this offense?
Rc2catch replied to JerseyBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Pressure up the gut has been Allen’s only real kryptonite. But only a few have been able to really wreck a game in recent memory. Heyward simmons Chris Jones If you can pressure up the gut and put a spy on Allen or have the LE play qb contain and stop him from running to the right sidelines is probably the best defense. I can’t give any credit to the run game, we are still barely attempting runs. -
Is Christian Benford better than Wallace?
Rc2catch replied to John from Riverside's topic in The Stadium Wall
Levi played in some really huge games including playoffs.. And he played at a high level despite the flack he got on here. He was always limited physically compared to others and his maximum potential. What he achieved here was really impressive. Benford has looked great but we’re talking two games. -
I do think there’s a lot left in the bag. If they can’t stop your opening script of plays not much reason to put more on tape.

KC fans are still flipping out Derwin James hasn’t been fined yet for the slam. But it was a pretty clean slam. He picked him up and if you’ve ever watched wrestling delivered a very crisp spine buster. And the only way it works is if they’re consistent on what to call and who is defenseless etc etc. Without a doubt the Hyde hit would be a penalty in most situations. I do believe there’s an emphasis on allowing some more hitting this season so far, but it’s also possible they tighten up as the season progresses.
-
I can agree that the Hyde hit is a flag in most games. But they’re allowing some of these hits this year and I support it. Derwin James just bodyslammed Kelce with no flag. Dantzler laid a monster hit in the Philly game. I’m all for allowing these hits if they’re avoiding the head and knees. They have softened up defenses too much and I support letting some of these hits happen. I would sing the same tune if it was Diggs on the receiving end.

I would say I miss the hope aspect of a season you have no idea who might step up vs the expectations now. I love the underdog role. It’s not as fun for me when Buffalo is the hands down favorite. But I absolutely am enjoying the ride and it’s been extremely fun watching them build this team.

Didn’t he play there last year some?? Must be a good back story behind this.

King Henry's worst game in his last 50 starts
Rc2catch replied to Pokebball's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah I agree with slim above. The injury is either in his head or he’s not the same. He can’t cut to the right anymore. I noticed last week and again last night, he jumps when he goes to his right. Crowder on the giants laid him out last week and it was a cut to the right where he hopped and got in the air a little and got sent packing. Even on all those toss plays last night, he’s really hesitant cutting back. Those plays were probably getting blown up regardless but he was never hesitant before to turn the corner and lower his shoulder. I would be very concerned if I was a Titans fan or if I drafted him in fantasy lol. -
I think they have built an offense that can really give buffalo trouble. I don’t expect them to go over the top with any success but the screens and misdirection could be an issue. Gesicki is also a problem if they involve him. But at the end of the day, I don’t see many scenarios their defense is going to put up much of a fight against this offense. Might be a 38-24 kinda game where the defense actually looks human. But I would love another dominating game where the pass rush ruins everything.
-
Only two games but he’s already made a much bigger impact than I expected. I didn’t see him bring that same energy in Arizona. Happy to see him having success back in buffalo. Hopefully he’s all good
-
Not sure we’d make any moves unless the injury bug really hits.. Hope it doesn’t. I have wanted DJ Moore for years now but I don’t think he’s an option after getting extended. I would take Tony Pollard from Dallas but he’d be a rental. But probably need a couple more games to see who really falls apart and is willing to sell.
-
This could be a great move for them later in the season. They are missing that underneath check down option and even if he has lost a step, I have zero doubt he can still get open on short routes
-
I think Crowder will be of more importance when we start seeing some effective pass rushes and more time working with Josh. I was hyped for his signing and I think there’s a lot to uncover for him still. Dorsey is doing a great job with our scheme and Josh is using all the weapons at his disposal. I’ll give Kumerow some props as well, I was on board cutting him. He can make some plays though. I didn’t expect to see him that much last night even with Davis out. He did a great job.

NFL Week #2 9/18/2022 - Post Game Thread - Titans at Bills
Rc2catch replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not the same ole soft Bills.. That was dominant. Not much else to say that’s about as perfect a game as I’ve seen. Big test of speed coming up next. -
Justin Herbert - fractured rib cartilage, day to day
Rc2catch replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
I actually thought he broke his tailbone at first glance. His butt hit hard and he clutched around his left cheek before they went to commercial. Probably best case scenario, I expected worse based on how he looked the rest of the game. -
This is a Tremaine edmunds game all day long.. Ton of run attempts, tons of play action.. As Colorado said earlier him and Milano are the key to not letting Henry hit the second level, and not biting on all the play action. And I think this is a slot day on offense. Rather it’s crowder or McKenzie they should both get favorable matchups
-
Chargers just ain’t ready yet.. Reminds me of Buffalo a couple years ago.. Just beat themselves 5-6 times in that game. Refs certainly did them no favors.
-
That’s twice they had momentum and lost it.. Yikes. Big play
-
Well done.. LA was expecting it too
-
They did fly through that play… Jackson was pulling that thing out.. Another pick dropped
