  1. There is no way that ‘report’ is true. That would be all over the place, not some no-name content creator.
  2. From my understanding (which may be wrong), restructuring just pushes guaranteed money down the line, the bill eventually comes due. Paying now frees us and gives more financial flexibility in years to come.
  3. Can we make an ESPN/Shefty/Buffalo reporter rule where if it isn’t one of those three, we don’t acknowledge it? SO MUCH fake crap gets tossed around.
  4. Former Bill, glad to see his work pay off. He had a long journey to get where he is at.
  5. My bet is this pay cut puts him in the 8-9m per year range, which would rank in the mid-to-high teens among TEs.
  6. One of these years he won’t, they’ll have to eat the guacamole. Yes, my phone switched ‘guarantee’ to ‘guacamole’ and I’m totally rolling with it.
  7. Had a meh season last year 40-75 (53%) 569 yards and 6 TDs surrendered. 11 PBUs, 2 picks, 6 missed tackles (13%). Some of those numbers are good, some not so good. We can probably draft a 4th CB.
  8. I know it’s BOZE-man, but my brain reads it as Booze-man
  9. I’d love to see him back, but why would he take a backup role, even with a heavy rotation?
  10. If we lose Jackson, but Insane Dane is definitely my preference
  11. 3, one just doesn’t need incentives Ugh I’d LOVE Mack in Buffalo for a season or three.
  12. Mack would have to give us a gnarly hometown discount, if Beane even looks his way.
  13. I think so too, but it’s a huge positive if they can find a way to get under the cap without it.
  14. We all assumed it would be one of the first moves Beane would do, since it opened up so much Cap, but it’s looking rather unlikely now that we restructure Josh’s contract to open up 23-ish million. If the reports are true, Beane has is close to being under the cap. This is a pretty big deal, is it not? Unless I’m mistaken, paying Josh his big guarantees and not kicking the can down the road will, no pun intended, pay off huge dividends in years to come. I believe the team is already in positive cap space for next season, and they don’t have many big ticket expiring contracts (yet). If Beane keeps up this level of wizardry, Hogwarts will come knocking.
  15. Typically guys who they had interest in the past and had caused headaches for the coaching staff are high on their list.
  16. For the he lost a step crowd, typically when a player slows down athletically it’s gradual. Diggs’ decline was immediate (and by decline I mean a full season projection of the second half of his season was still 80+ catches for 800+ yards). I feel this was more: Offensive changes in-season: His production dipped as soon as Brady took over, so there may have been a change in philosophy. Defensive adjustments: Davis, Knox, Sherfield, and Hardy scared no one in 2023, so could have the focus really settled on Diggs? The high volume of targets for Shakir may support this. Injury: He was never on the report, but to assume he had some kind of injury isn’t a stretch. Big Groot was rarely on the report and it was wildly believed and talked about how he had a significant foot injury. I think it’s in Diggs best interest if we started to spotlight him less, we need to stop having him be a 160 target WR if we want any kind of production from him in the very near future.
  17. Basically you can lower his yearly cap hit to something within range and it guarantees he’s on the roster next year (which he likely will be anyways).
  18. Locked On and Cover1 are by far the best Bills podcasts. Until we start Two Bills Drive Live. I need a co-host, who’s with me?
  19. Mack will forever be the guy I want to play in one season, even as a 40 year old washed up defender.
  20. 5, 7, and 2 are his drop totals from the last three seasons. Much better than I thought, honestly.
