    I don't understand. I thought RBs were a dime a dozen and thus easily replaced? See. The Colts want Taylor's production they just don't want to pay for it.

    With this regime? Only as long as Allen has a Diggs type of threat on the outside. Without that, Allen will be Phillip Rivers territory. Great stats, winning seasons, but ultimately go nowhere. A different regime could bring about different results.

    QBs are a crap shoot. The 49ers swung a missed on Lance, but may have a 7th round gem on their hands in Purdy. The team is still loaded with talent and a Super Bowl contender. Lynch and Shanahan are still doing good, despite the assets lost in the trade up for Lance. That in itself speaks volumes.

    I'm still holding out hope that it somehow shakes out this way. I have zero doubt Kyle wins a Super Bowl with a talent like Josh.

    The passing league that it is today, someone will come along and break it, but they'll have to play quite a long time to do so and stay relatively healthy.

    But I thought Beane, the wizard, fixed the o-line? Everyone here should anticipate some regression with the secondary. Poyer and Hyde aren't getting any younger and I seriously doubt Tre will ever be elite again. You can't expect these guys to magically turn back the clock to 3 years ago.

    Exactly. Play to the strength of the team, which isn't QB. Zeke was still productive in a time sharing role last season with the Cowboys.

    Latavius Murray has only had over 150 carries 4 times in his career. Those 33 year old legs are fresher than most.

    It's no wonder Shady and him didn't get along. Bieniemy may or may not learn what Coughlin eventually did. You can achieve the same results with a less abrasive approach. It doesn't make you or your team soft. These are professionals.

    I like Sherfield. I liked him when he was in Miami. He brings an Anquan Boldin type of effort and toughness. I sincerely hope he gets opportunities.

    The secondary, perhaps. Will Tre ever get back to elite form? Poyer and Hyde are a year older, coming off injury riddled seasons.
