  1. Josh probably asked if they annouced that Shorter has been placed on IR.
  2. Well getting into the Chiefs playbook is a nice additiom to the practice squad
  3. So no QB on practice squad this year?. I dont think thats very wise... should have someone in the system that knows the playbook incase of injury.
  4. I dont necessarily think he looked better. Jace was signed pretty late so I dont think he had as much as a chance to prove himeself. I think Wilson is a better blocker but Sternberger is a better weapon.
  5. Think id rather have Jace Sternberger on the PS. But this Wilson kid must have shown the coaches a little something this offseason.
  6. The other is going to the OT Ifedi
  7. That one spot is to resign Reid.
  8. With Shorter injured I could see Isabella getting a lot of call ups early in the season. Probably a big reason he wanted to stay in Buffalo to showcase himself early in season in hopes someone signs him to their 53.
  9. Yeah Chiefs absolutely killed it with Clyde Edwards Helaire who lost his starting job. And the backup RB job. No matter how good a team is they all have their fair share of players thay didnt pan out like they expected to. Jackson Carman from the Bengals cant win a starting job. He was drafted 46th overall.... all teams miss on players in the draft. And its even harder to draft when you are the best of the best cause you pick at the backend of each round. Fact of the matter is that most of the Bills draft selections are still on NFL rosters. Which is what you want to be successful.
  10. That was an absolute rope by Kyle Allen. Perfectly placed. And nice soft hands by Morris
  11. Not too late. Im sure we will add a depth OT with someone who was cut. Maybe even another MLB. But we will probably wait until roster cut day
  12. Yet he still made the block to spring Murray. Id rather a LB tackle the guy without the ball.
  13. I meant in terms of play calling. He knows this defense better than anyone else on this roster... he knows the terminology and it would make sense from a playcaller perspective to have the guy that knows the defense the most make the play calls.
  14. Obviously he would have to adjust. But he is a ball player. Balls players knows how to succeed with whatever a team asks of them. Milano being in the system for as long as he has been would definitely help. Honestly there is not much difference between Mike and Will in our system with only have 2 linebackers on field.... i think he could definitely make the transition in a single offseason
  15. I am a firm believer of putting best 2 players out there. And after seeing Dorian play he is probably our second best linebacker. He was all over the field. I know he is a rookie and you have to learn way more as a MIKE compared to the WILL. Im just surprised we didnt move Milano over to MLB and start Dorian at WLB. Milano is by far most experienced linebacker we have and i would feel most comfortable with him having play calling duties. If it were to happen they would have had to do it way before now but i think thats the route they should have taken.
  16. He has tools but he conplete broke down when we brought any sort of pressure at him.
  17. Yeah but thats why I think Kyle Allen looked so bad that first drive out of the half. He was on pace for 16-30 244 Yards for a full game... not great but considering he was playing with backups and Colts had their starters in longer. And he is learning a new offense. Id hardly say awful... bot great by anymeans but ive seen way way worse performances. Especially in preseason. Heck ive seen worse performances out of Barkley in the past
  18. The 3rd string OLine was pretty bad. Allen had no time that first series. He didnt play horribly. Barkley obviously looked awesome vs 3rd stringers and seemed to have timing perfect. Allen still has work to do but i would say solid. Colts had their starters out ther longer than us so he played a lot with our backups and their starters. And he had to deal with some pretty bad crucial drops from Shakir and Morris that would have extended drives.
  19. Thought he has looked decent for a backup QB. Has some nice zip on his throws. Took some smart plays. Even with us having backups in and Colts still having some starters in
  20. Pretty sure any positional battle on depth chart is alphabetical by last name
  21. I think Spector is out of the race because of what Beane said during his interview with Pat Mcafee. He said that if a player has a great day with the 3s then theyd move him up to 2s. And if he plays well with 2s they would try them withs 1s and see how they look. My guess is he looked great on days he ran with 2s and 3s but not as good on days he got reps with the 1s. Im also surprised that Torrence and Bates dont have a slash next to their name like the other battles. Especially since Torrence seem to be getting most reps with 1s.
  22. They never said he is nothing more than a WLB. Thats just his best position rn. He is a 3rd round rookie and has a lot to learn before handing the reigns of a defense to him. They are putting him in position to succeed right away. And who knows injuries do happen and Milano hasnt been the healthiest player we have had
  23. I dont know. Everytime ive watched him play he seems to play better than Benford and Jackson. He always made plays when he saw action last year... so not sure why he doesnt get the first shot. Maybe he is just bad in practice
  24. Well to be fair the question was "How Concerned are you?" And he just responded with "very". So the question kinda led him to say that
