2018 Nathan Peterman = 2013 Jeff Tuel
Buffalo Ballin replied to transplantbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Me, too. I was 100 percent correct about all the QBs we had since Doug Flutie left. And I pull the plug on those guys very early. But I don't do it after one game. It's somewhere around the 4-6th week is where I pull it if I don't see improvements; just to be absolutely sure in my mind. I'm not the coach. I don't see the stuff in practice and behind closed doors. You were already dead set on Peterman sucking even before he stepped on the field. There is NO convincing you otherwise. The Josh Allen fans here were just waiting. I give people chances just like I did with the other QBs. With me, I need suitable game samples before I make my final decisions. When Josh Allen gets his chance, I'll give him my support just like all the QBs before him. I hope I'm wrong about Allen. I didn't want him here because we have to trade 2 second rounders for him. I would have used the picks for more quality defensive players. Which to me, is the number one reason why we got handed 47 points up our arses. -

Nice. I didn't see that. You saw that. Congrats. I don't wanna be the coach of the Bills. Sounds like you want to be. Go ahead. Go get that plane ticket and head out to Buffalo. Show us what you're made of instead typing on a message board. -

Whoa. Slow your roll. Nate was drafted. Yes, drafted. He is talented to play in the NFL. To be a franchise superstar QB though? No. To be a starter? No. Looks like I'm wrong about that, too. It's up to Nate though. Not to me. I'm not the QB of the Buffalo Bills. -

Ok. Josh Allen did NOT beat Nate Peterman in training camp and pre-season. McDermott didn't care about three quarters speed stuff. They know more about football than me and seen more compared to me and you. That's why they get paid the big bucks. Not me. Not you. I like rooting for the underdog. Nate was the underdog. I like to see the underdog succeed. Doesn't look like it's gonna happen here. We'll see next week if Peterman gets another start. -
Peterman Stats - Historical Ranking?

I don't get it either. I don't know why McCarron was traded. That was weird. I thought "Stupid move." -

See? That's the thing. I can be fooled. Anyone can. If I saw someone performing extremely well in practice and team scrimmages consistently and then play well in practice games, I see that the player is probably good. The competing QBs are not beating him. That's why they play the real games to truly see. It's just one game and yes, Peterman sucked bad. But again, I need to see 2 more starts before I say bye bye to Nate. I predicted that Nate is going to start all 16 games. That doesn't look like it's gonna happen unless he turns it around. And he's only getting 2 more games from me. I don't know if he's getting 2 more starts. That's a good enough sample size for me to jump ship. -

I am. I already wrote that I was wrong. I figure you chose to ignore that. No, I'm not apologizing though. I don't see the need. Nate was good in training camp AND pre-season. Josh Allen didn't beat him. I need to see 2 more games before I officially pull the plug on Nate. Even EJ Manuel got more games with me before I ditched him for good. Once I withdraw my support, there's no going back for me. I see how some posters here wanting Fitzpatrick back here; got to be kidding. Just like how I pulled the plug on Fitz, JP Losman, Drew Bledsoe, Trent Edwards, Jeff Tuel, EJ Manuel, and Tyrod, it's permanent. I couldn't care less about Fitz's 400 yards today. He'll go back to being Fitz again. He'll put up ok numbers, but can't lead a team to serious victories in the playoffs. He'll choke. Throw picks. Just like how he showed in Buffalo. No, no apology. You took heat? It definitely wasn't from me. -
Our defense is the number one problem. Ravens just scoredd 47 points on us without trying hard. If we're 0-4 getting out scored by a lot then the DC is fired. If offense can't generate 5 first downs in the first half for the next 3 games, Daboll is gone. That's sad, too. 5 first downs in the ENTIRE HALF?? HAHA lol oh man. 5 first downs in a quarter is too much for them.

I draft another QB again if we get a Top 5 pick. -
No. I don't want Fitz back. I've seen enough of him. It's just one game, dude. Let's see week to week how the season plays out.

I don't get this team. I don't understand. Why can't we get the chains moving to get first downs? Forget about touchdowns. JUST get the friggin' first down. That's the victory right there. Ever since Doug Flutie left, we had QBs who couldn't do it on a consistent basis. Yep, NOT even Drew Bledsoe when he was here. They can't get first downs and they hold on to the ball too long. WTF is going on? Daboll sucks. I hated the hire. "Respect" among coaches. I don't give a crap about that. I produce results. I get respect. That's how it works. His resume flat out sucks. Where does it say "respect?" Does he give cash to the coaches and tell them "Hey don't pay me back. It's on me." Is that how Daboll got his respect? That's the slogan for this year: "Get the friggin' first down."

You gotta trade McCoy now... right?
Buffalo Ballin replied to Rigotz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No. Can't trade McCoy. YodaMan79 is correct. Shady has no value RIGHT NOW. Just hang on to him and let things play out. I've been through worse than this as a Bills fan. Much worse. -
The Silver Lining : Josh Allen is very good.
Buffalo Ballin replied to PlayoffsPlease's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No. Not yet. Allen didn't beat Nate Peterman during training camp AND pre-season. That says A LOT. I would keep starting Nate until week 4 then see what's up. -

Damn. Nate Peterman got roasted today. Holy hell. I was backing him a lot because he showed it in pre-season. Wow. I was wrong. It's just one game though. I'd give Peterman 2 more games to start. If he doesn't show any improvement and puts up stats then I yank Nate for the rest of the year and just give it to Allen. -
Steve Tasker- Thank You....

Not for 26CornerBlitz and his Josh Allen avatar. -
Tom Savage potential is Randy Savage.

Eh. Every SINGLE QB will throw picks. What's wrong with you? How about this: The present and the future is Nate Peterman. Josh Allen will never be handed the keys in Buffalo. Yes, he'll start IF Nate gets injured and can't play. However, Coach will yank him out very quickly once Nate is ready to go back in. GM Beane got played during the draft. He should have never traded for Josh Allen as I written months ago.

Nate Peterman is the starter some of us predicted vs. the Josh Allen fans. No surprise here. Josh Allen has too many negatives compared to Nasty Nate. Josh is not ready this year and next year. The most damning negative is his slow decision making (holding on the ball too long a la Drew Bledsoe, JP Losman, Trent Edwards, Tyrod). Doesn't seem like he can ever fix that. Nasty Nate era is here. He's our Franchise QB. I don't see Josh taking that away from him. Nate is fast with his decisions, fast trigger, and super accurate arm. Nate just has to stay durable and the Buffalo Bills QB position is his for a long time.

OMG. Oh well. That was a sweet deal. I wonder why he didn't take it during that time. Thought AJ was gonna be the backup. Good bye AJ McCarron.

Which player do you want the Bills to cut

Josh Allen.
