  1. I hope Josh Allen goes number one. We might have a chance at Sam Dahnold then. Yes, I know I spelled his last name wrong, but it sounds funnier when Arnold Schwarzenegger says his own name, "Ahhhnold." But Dahnold compared to Andrew Luck? That's flat out wrong.
  2. So you didn't add anything and just resorted to dumb poster insults. Cliches, too. It's not a reset. If it was, then why is history being recorded? Why did the poster "SoTier" pointed out this history in his post? History is recorded for many reasons. People can learn from it. I take it that History wasn't your strongest class in high school. Getting a QB to become a successful one, SHOWN BY HISTORY, has a low success rate. AND that's with a GM naturally drafting one without having to trade anything. So now you guys want Beane to trade the farm knowing this? SoTier posted: If you take out the outlier truly great 1983 and 2004 drafts, which produced 7 successful QBs from 10 prospects, the success rate for the other years drops to around 33% .... 7 out of 21 picks. Of those 7 first rounders, 4 were the #1 picks, 1 was a top five pick, 1 was a top ten pick, and 1 was taken outside the top ten. Those are facts, not fake news. I don't know why you brought up Rob Johnson. He sucks. I knew from Game One. We didn't draft him. What the hell? You tried to cover your ass with "draft/hire" nonsense. He was a retread.
  3. No. I'm not ignoring history IF I'm thinking about giving up all of those picks for an unknown player. There is nothing wrong to base my draft plan around a QB, but not when I'm trading all of that crap away. That's just stupid. The Eagles didn't give up a lot to get Wentz from the Browns. Eagles were already stacked. However, Wentz is still a question mark because he did not lead the Eagles to the Superbowl. It was Nick Foles. We do not have a top 10 pick to trade with the Giants. That's another reason why the trade is not happening. It's laughable that many of you are panicking and claiming that Beane HAS to trade up into the top 5. He does not HAVE to do anything because he doesn't have enough to trade into the Top 5. The dream scenarios are stupid at this point. Let the QB land naturally at number 12 (or 22) and move the eff on. It's gonna be Lamar Jackson.
  4. Then you're crazy. I hope Rosen goes number one now so that the Cleveland Browns ruin his career.
  5. Wow. Just no. ESPN gave Cam Newton some hype. Rosen is not getting any compared to Cam. Newton was the undisputed number one pick while Rosen has question marks about his commitment to the game. Cam is bigger, faster, stronger, and has a cannon arm. Rosen, on a physical level, does not have any of those tools. Otherwise, Rosen would be the number one undisputed pick over Dahnold. Yup. Nicely done. This is the major reason why Beane is not trading up. We're not getting Giants' number 2. If he trade those picks for one unknown guy and that QB doesn't work out, he's fired along with McDermott. I wouldn't trade up either.
  6. No. This trade is like 99 percent dead. Giants are not trading number 2 to us. Jeez.
  7. Nah man. He looks like the friggin' punter.
  8. Ryan Nassib is worse than EJ Manuel. No hype for me. Same goes for Mason Rudolph. I like his first name "Mason." But that's about it.
  9. We're staying at 12 and selecting Lamar Jackson. The number 12 pick is Jim Kelly's number for you mystical number fanatics. He naturally falls to us right there. In about 2 years, Lamar will be the best from this class. Plus by not trading up, we get top guys to develop on the defensive end to become a perennial top 3 defense.
  10. Bills offer for Giants' number 2 pick is dead LOL. Giants are not trading this. They don't want our offer. Fun to dream about tho, right?
  11. This trade is not happening because the Giants rejected this. This is a weak offer from the Bills. And this is our best offer. This was rejected, fellas. Otherwise, this trade would have been done yesterday. We have to be reasonable and realistic; Giants don't want our $hit. Notice that Beane did not offer 2019 First Rounder. Of course, I wouldn't either. Bills' current proposal, minus 2019 First Rounder, is trash. Giants might have other offers that are better than the Bills such as Denver's 5th, Tampa Bay's 7th, Chicago Bears 8th, 49ers 9th, and so forth. I've said before, I only give up those picks, including 2019 First Rounder, for a healthy Andrew Luck who can pass a physical. Obviously, Luck is not available anymore. We're staying put at 12 and drafting the QB that lands there. Most likely the dude is Lamar Jackson or whoever is higher than Lamar. Only Beane knows that.
  12. He's EJ Manuel, but wrapped all over with white bandages like a mummy.
  13. At the time, we had picks to trade up. We still can but ONLY IF we give up 2019 First rounders. But why? Now this is back to my thought; it's just not worth it. All the QBs are unknowns. I"ll only trade what we have now, including next year's first, for a HEALTHY Andrew Luck. Of course, that's not going to happen. Colts are keeping him.
  14. Now you're just attacking me instead of giving me links to articles where Beane is currently talking to Giants for number 2 or Browns' number 1 OR 4th pick. We don't have enough. Simple as that. Did you know that Colts wanted a top 10 pick for their number 3? Most of us sat here thought that we had enough for their 3rd. HAHA we got humbled, but of course, Beane knew way before it became public today. I'm living in the present day reality. Beane pointed out that he's staying pat with the word "excited" for number 12 pick. He's also hyping up Lamar Jackson. I'm not in denial about this. It sounds like you are dreaming up fantasy trade scenarios in Madden trying not to accept a damn good chance that Lamar is coming here. We all know we need a QB. It's way too obvious, but we don't need to be in the top 5 to get a good one. There have been plenty of great quarterbacks drafted in later rounds. History proves this. You can't see the future either, Old Man. Josh Allen, Mayfield, Rosen, and Dahnold can all be busts (depends if they're taken within top 10). As I google, I haven't found anything where Beane praises Mayfield and Josh Allen. If you find them, link them. Beane might not even take Lamar Jackson at 12. Relax, Chill. Netflix. Take a walk. No need to stress and give up the farm for the number one pick. That usually doesn't work out. Shout outs to Mike Ditka.
  15. This is not an argument or negotiation. This is fact. Beane is staying pat at 12. This is not Madden 2018 where you can force trades. Beane used the "excited" for number 12 pick. I use the word "excited" if I knew that I cannot move up, too. It's done. For him to put that out there, that means a lot.
  16. He's not trading anymore. It's over. Did you read the article I linked? Again, it's right here. http://billswire.usatoday.com/2018/03/16/buffalo-bills-brandon-beane-2018-nfl-draft/ Beane put this out there to get the fan base prepared. We're staying at 12.
  17. HAHA Beane is not trading next years picks for any of these unknown QBs. Shady is not going anywhere. We have 2 more good years from him before he's traded. Rookie RBs usually don't make immediate impacts in their rookie years. Those 3 articles I linked are not smoke screens about Beane's feelings on Lamar Jackson. He's going to be here. FYI, I'm not married to the chart. However, it is a guideline to base things as a starting point and that chart does a great job.
  18. For anyone dreaming about trade scenarios for number one or number two pick, I'm killin' that. It's not going to happen. Zero chance. We're staying pat at number 12 and drafting Lamar Jackson.
  19. No we don't. This is just your opinion, right? According to the draft picks value chart, we have zero chance to trade for number one pick. If I was Beane, I would not do it. Beane himself cannot do it anyway if he wanted. Get your Lamar Jackson jerseys ready. Beane and company have been hyping up L. Jackson anyway. http://www.newyorkupstate.com/buffalo-bills/index.ssf/2018/03/lamar_jackson_steals_show_at_nfl_combine_meets_with_buffalo_bills.html http://billswire.usatoday.com/2018/03/03/2018-nfl-scouting-combine-buffalo-bills-lamar-jackson/ http://billswire.usatoday.com/2018/03/16/buffalo-bills-brandon-beane-2018-nfl-draft/
  20. Nope. That's not gonna happen. We don't have enough to trade for number 2. I don't think we have enough to trade for Cleveland's number 4. Get used to Lamar Jackson. We'll be fine. No matter who we choose at 12, we have a better team than Colts, Browns, Giants, Jets, and Broncos. We're kickin' their asses.
  21. Also, Russell Westbrook was drafted below Derrick Rose. Russell Wilson was drafted in the 3rd round, 75th pick. Joe Montana was drafted in 3rd round, 82nd pick. So chill. No need to be in the top 10. Stand our ground. Don't panic. If Lamar Jackson is still there for us at 12, take him and be happy. We need DBs, WRs, LB, RB, and another pass rusher to get.
  22. I would stay pat and get Lamar Jackson at 12. Draft the best I can and get ready to kick some Jets and Colts ass on Sundays. We'll be saying "Thank God for Lamar Jackson."
  23. We have the 12 pick. Lamar Jackson might drop to 12.
  24. We are NOT getting the second pick. Y'all effin' crazy. We don't have enough. However, Cleveland Brown's 4th pick is still in play. Maybe. We're not getting Rosen. Andrew Luck will not be traded either. Lamar Jackson, Welcome to the Buffalo Bills. Oh hell yeah.
  25. Thanks for your input. EJ Manuel did win the genetics lottery though. He's a big dude like Andrew Luck, Cam Newton type. It's his football IQ. That's the problem. I hope he's a late bloomer like Nick Foles, but Foles had a lot more snaps compared to EJ to get where he is today. And like Lfod mentioned, EJ couldn't hold down a backup gig with the Raiders. It's safe to say that EJ's days are done. I hope he lands somewhere in the NFL though.
