  1. One of Buffalo’s best spoiler games? I’ve often heard about this game but finally can watch and enjoy it. Even then after the 1st touchdown run you can still see what passionate fans the Bills have. Showing up in the cold to cheer on an 0-10 team. Great stuff. Even helped me recharge my batteries a little watching it
  2. Mrs. Doubtfire? I remember my dad took me to see it in the movie theaters when I was around 9/10. I loved it
  3. People can have short memories. I mean there was some ugly games that year. For instance the 47-10 loss to the Bears
  4. I’m in no way comparing COVID-19 to football but sometimes you do find out a lot about people under bad times/stress. For as poor as 2018 was, McDermott never lost the team when they were still trying and at times struggling to find their way. He never lost focus on “the process” either. Though Im probably guilty of laughing at some Trust The Process gags that year. By the final game that year against the Dolphins most fans saw the team was going on the right direction. The foundation had been set for 2019 and beyond
  5. Thanks. I’m familiar with Steely Dan and that song but never know about that intro. Classic!
  6. It would be entirely sweet for another reason as well the OP missed: Next year's Super Bowl is played in Tampa. Super Bowl 25 was played in Tampa 30 years ago. You'd be slaying the Wide Right demons as well.
  7. I'm thinking self love will be an all time high now. Still the safest kind ?
  8. I heard that as well driving home. Mike Francesa went on some tirade about him getting special treatment for surgery for being an athlete in the current climate. I didn't feel like listening to him so I turned that off after 2 minutes. Hope you and fam are good as well along with the other met fans here
  9. He has some interesting and humorous paradoies about the Coronavirus. Be safe and healthy all
  10. Yeah possible. It’s like we used to be able to just do our own things all day and not see each other. But now I gotta spend all day inside with you!
  11. Somewhere along the lines I found it success if I didn’t have a job that made me wanna go home and drink battery acid All depends on your outlook really
  12. Good stuff there. I forgot even starting this thread until I got your quote! I think as in everything it's what you're willing to work/make of things. This is one of my favorite motivational clips
  13. The home opener is coming up sooner vs later, March 26th. So I wonder how many people will call out from work with "Coronavirus like symptoms". ? When I was a teenager I might have been half tempted too. But ultimately I wouldn't have went through with it
  14. Beasley was my favorite Bill last year. All right he does have a special place in my heart because he's around the same size as me (5'8', 170 lbs) and an NFL receiver. But I liked how he had a certain amount of flair/personality to him without seemingly coming across as d-baggy. The Dallas game was sweet as well. With that said I don't delude myself into thinking the team doesn't need a #1 receiver
  15. I belong to a CKO kickboxing studio. I just got an e-mail from them pretty much re-iterating what the people in your gym were doing. And they're taking every means necessary to stop germs from spreading...
  16. The Bills teams in Super Bowls 27 and 28 were just as good as the Cowboys. They lost those games a little because of poor coaching but mostly because they choked.
  17. Bills Mafia fan antics at games does nothing to help the image of Bills fans and makes them look stupid. Notice I said at games, not accounting for Pancho Villa or Andy Dalton charity drives
  18. A lot of the Patriots success of winning 6 Super Bowls has been due to playing in a very weak division the last 20 years. Particularly playing the Bills twice a year
  19. Granted the fumble against the Patriots was a pretty big snafu. But otherwise Leodis was a great Bill
  20. Maybe he’s got a life now. Oh wait....
  21. Sort of same here. My first football memory was crying after Wide Right. I still always liked the Bills but went through periods in my teen years liking the Jets and the Eagles. The Eagles appealed to me then because of how big of an enemy the Cowboys were at the time to then. That 4th and 1 play was a great memory. But once I started working in my 20s, Bills fandom came full circle to me. Especially after going to a game. I do like to see the Browns do well as well.
  22. Yeah her life hadn't begun yet. Blast from the past
