It was actually the Jets for me as they were the local team. My Dad took me to a pro game as a birthday present when I was around 12. They played the Rams that day. It was during the Rich Kotite era. I remember they lost and the game went to 4:30 for some reason even though there was no overtime. I remember as well a helicopter flying over the stadium advertising condoms.

Month old thread

I thought 6-10 at the beginning of the year as did most posters here in a poll. All things considered 8-8 wouldn't be a bad first year. Just losing to the Patriots, that just always sucks!

Always wondered this as I'm about half myself. I suppose Gronk doesn't really help matters

I'm not actually saying this in hindsight but at 3rd and one from the Patriots 7 I wanted them to go play action into the end zone. McCoy did get first down but we all know what happened on the next play. Agree though you have to bring your A game and play aggressively to beat the Pats. After that interception it was all down hill as you said ultra conservative.

All things considered I have a feeling we'd be at the same spot right now if Marrone was still around. McDermott isn't really too different from Marrone to me. The handclapping could be annoying but he appears to be far less abrasive. Marrone was better than Rex, if he's better than McDermott is TBD. But wow there's actually some days thinking of Gailey, Marrone, and Rex that make want to apologize to Jauron. Not that he didn't deserve to be fired but the hostility was a bit much considering all this that transpired afterwards.

Have no problem going to Peterman the rest of the way and still have no problem he started the Charger game. In Tyrods defense though they don't really cater to his strengths here. One of the few pluses about Rex

I wasn't alive in the 70's but I can't imagine that decade was any worse than 15 plus years of this with New England now. Were those Dolphins teams as unlikeable?

Very depressing day

I wasn't kidding myself into thinking we would win today but that late hit was just too much to take. I'm not into fist fighting/retaliation but you got to eventually stand up for yourselves against bullies. It starts with the season finale.
