If they had won they’d have a winning record, and we’d be saying how gosh darn awful it is we can’t beat a team with a winning record. Get out of here with that. We won. We are gearing up for a huge game against a division rival. We are fighting for first. If they didn’t live up to your regular season record that’s on you. All that matters is we make it and we keep winning. Everyone played well today. If you can’t enjoy that for a few days I feel sorry for you

The Giants need to clean house top to bottom. Gettleman needs to go, and their coach too most likely. If their HC stays he may have a hand in selecting the GM- but has he warranted any trust at this point? His team is garbage and not getting better under his leadership. Also, depending on the QB class coming up, they have to seriously evaluate Danny Dimes future. We see the difference in a QB who’s rough around the edges and a bad line and what he can do. Danie Jones hasn’t shown a fraction of what Josh did. Even as a rookie with the worst line in the NFL Josh mustered at least 6 wins out of that team. I don’t think DJ could pull that off, and he has way more weapons than Josh did that year. That being said, rookie contract. If next year is a good QB class you roll Dan out there one more year and hope you get in position to get top talent.

I cursed so damn loud. I saw the trade up and was thinking “there’s no way we screw this up. None.” Yeah, OF COURSE WE DID

Well that’s a relief, because he doesn’t do much as it is. 207 yards and a TD/INT like he did Thursday won’t beat Buffalo. Recently he had less than 140 yards vs Carolina, less than 200 vs the Browns, and put up a goose egg against the Chargers - the only reputable team NE has faced over the last 5 weeks. The only reason NE is doing well is the defense.
-
you mean the NE defense, right?
-
22 of 26, for a measly 207 yards and 1 TD and an INT pump the damn brakes
-
Man, Chicago should really find a way to get rid of this guy… maybe sending him to someplace like, idk, Buffalo for like a 5th. 🧐

Nobody wanted to win that game lol. Back and forth on awful turnovers. Well, Detroit should be happy they didn’t actually lose I guess
-
Very sad to hear- I loved his time here and hope he recovers quickly. …that being said, who is taking bets on OBJ pulling a Nancy Kerrigan on him for play time?

Remember when the browns beat the pats in 2010? Do you think their fanbase was calling for heads after that game? It was 34-14. They had no business losing that game at all. What about when the Bucs lost last year to NO? They got thrashed. Brady looked human. Do you think their fan base was ready to burn it all down after one awful performance? Good teams play bad games sometimes. Bad teams find ways to win against better opponents sometimes. Crap happens. We are a better team than we realize, and we sometimes have a habit of nitpicking our weaknesses. We aren’t perfect, sure, but we have the tools to win. If we can get our OL healthy and get Knox back I feel we will be primed to do our thing on offense again. With this Defense and Offense we can win. I do think there are other teams that either match up against us well or may even be more complete, but that doesn’t mean they get a free pass to the bowl. please note- I’m not saying we are perfect or can’t improve. We were a play away from winning vs Tenn. We had a ST blunder be the difference vs Pitt. We, uh, lost to the damn Jags. I get it, but it’s not a forgone conclusion that we can’t win. You have the right to be frustrated, but this fa base can sometimes overreact because we are so afraid to be irrelevant again. trust the process- it’s worked well enough so far

It’s not always a guarantee you’re getting a star just because you draft them high. Spiller with 9th overall and while he made some highlight runs he was not worth that investment- especially because he was drafted to a team that had FredEx and Lynch. He was projected as the #1 back in the 2010 draft and selected 9th overall. He was often injured and even when he left Buffalo he didn’t do much. granted, nearly all of the RB’s in the draft that year were hot garbage. James Starks was one of the better backs and we missed him- someone in our own back yard. Prepare to barf (I’m only showing the top-3 here) 9 - Cj Spiller 41 - Terrell Troup 72 - Alex Carrington Stars (regardless of position) we passed on: Gronk, Jerry Hughes (lol), Devin McCourty, Earl Thomas, Maurkice Pouncey, Carlos Dunlap, positions of need players we missed on: JPP, Demaryius Thomas, Emmanuel Sanders (lol), Antonio Brown (blessing in disguise?) ***Our biggest needs were QB, LT, RT, DT, and OLB. All the QB’s sucked too.

Breaking News: Odell Beckham is set to be released
KingBoots8 replied to Protocal69's topic in The Stadium Wall
100% agree. Kermit needs a new target aside from Reek and Kelce. Honestly I’d rather he go there than someplace like LA. I could also see GB since they have one truly good receiver and nothing else on that WR squad -
Two of the best .. Hyde and Poyer Mic'd up

“Stop sleeping on me!” Truer words, Jordan. I hope he gets his pro bowl nod this year. -
Did the same in one of my leagues. You’re not alone at least

What’s your favorite surprisingly impressive stat by a Bills player?
KingBoots8 replied to uninja's topic in The Stadium Wall
Brian Moorman has more passing attempts than Mitch Trubisky as a Buffalo Bill. Steve Johnson is (currently) the only Bills WR to have back-to-back 1,000 yard seasons ever. -
THIS JUST IN: Raiders announce after releasing Ruggs, they are adding a WR named, uh, “Nathaniel Pederman”…
-
TO was this guy at one point except he could still play. OBJ was good for a few highlights but fell off once his ego got inflated.
-
But if Josh has a stinger and is only out a few weeks we are not done- that’s the contingency I am referring to. It may jeopardize #1 seed but Mitch is talented enough to win. Can he pull a “Foles” and win it all? Who knows… I hope we never have to find out but i would rather have the best option available in an emergency. if we can get an absolutely key piece that is lock down for a few years then we do what we have to, but Mitch gives us the best chance to win vs any other backup in the NFL
-
I know we need help on the oline, and while Trubisky may never even play significant time with us I have a weird feeling about potentially trading him away. I feel like (God forbid) he can play well enough to win some games short term if we should need him to. I hope he never has to, but I feel much better about him being here than not

Damn, a 6th is a steal (no pun intended)
