    Thats how it works. Raw qb looks good in beginning. Dc sees something it works so other dc's use it and will continue until it doesnt. Thats always been the chess match. Allen now has to get better. Its his move.

    Difference is qb. Brady is good Allen isnt. When you watch the Pats first thing Brady does is send someone in motion to see what the defense does. It tells him man or zone. If he likes what he sees if he doesnt he will check out of the play. The nice thing about the EP system is you can pretty much run the entire play book out of any formation

    Dabol is running the baby stroller version of the EP system. Either Josh isnt using it correctly or Dabol doesnt trust him yet. Not sure which is which. I never see pre snap motion or Allen audible out of the play

    I didnt . what was the coverage. In the EP system there is always an outlet provided the receiver and qb recognize the coverage.

    You make it sound like the qb only has 1 option on any given play. The qb has multiple option the receivers have multiple options. Its not like Dabol is calling a 50 yard bomb on 3rd and 3. Thats up to the qb. Unfortunately for you guys the qb is failing miserably.

    Bern like that for 15 years. Blame the coaching. Then when you get new coaches. The first thing they do is turn over the roster. Then the story becomes how were we expected to win without talent

    No. The system is predicated on what the defense is showing pre snap. Every receiver has multiple options. The qb and receiver have to see the same thing. If the receivet is open and the qb doesnt see him thats on the qb.

    Daboll is in a tough spot. He has a good system. He just doesnt have a very good qb for this system. I always find it funny when people used to say why dont teams run NE's system. You need a smart accurate qb to run that system. Allen would be better served with Greg Roman, but I heard on this board he sucks too.

    Easy answer is yes. Is he improving enough to justify spending 30 million per year in 2 years. Imo he will have to get a lot better.

    2 easy wins. That team will perpetually suck just based on logistics. Free agents will not want to play there and drafted players will leave as soon as they can.

    Easy schedule, hard schedule doesnt matter. If your not good enough in the playoffs your going home. 9-7 teams have won the superbowl. 14-2 teams have lost their first playoff game.

    No lol. Calling plays. McDaniels started calling plays in 05 when Weiss left. O Brien in 09. BB usually has someone call plays for a year or two before promoting them to coordinator. My guess is he will also give Mayo a shot at calling plays as well.

    Nepotism has been the way of nfl coaches for decades. Belichicks coordinators always start off this way.

    Not to hard to gameplan for the bills at this juncture. Play the run shade a safety to Brown keep allen in the pocket and make him make his third and fourth reads. Looks like Daboll doesnt have confidence in allen to check out of the play yet. The nice thing about this scheme is you can pretty much run any play out of any formation. The concepts stay the same

    I dont think they settled. I think its a very complex system to master. Josh would probably be better served running an offense like what carson palmer ran in cincy.
