  1. Why do people keep saying this. Brady had just signed a 2 year extension. It would have cost them 17+ million in dead cap if they traded him.and the franchise tag for garrapolo would have been 24 million for a back up. Wasnt happening.
  2. My understanding it will probably just be a cash fine or a very low round pick.
  3. Dont resign the mcourty's. Cut some players for cap savings and run with Stidham. 1-15 can be done easily.
  4. Not sure about that.BB could win the afce on coaching alone. Not worried about Gase or McDermott. Flores on the other hand might be one to watch out for.
  5. People keep saying that, but it isnt true. They tried signing jimmy g to a bridge deal but he turned it down. They couldnt get rid of brady because it would have been a 17 million cap hit. Trading garrapolo was really the only option. Why wouldnt they. They have a pretty good amount of picks. 40 mill in cap space. BB has retooled the roster with less.
  6. You can turnover a roster pretty quick in todays nfl. Just look at Baltimore.
  7. It used to be that way. Remember the Pats are the baby brother to the other 3 major sports teams. Now the Pats are the number 1 team and it isnt even close.
  8. You cant win it every year. There were a lot of bad teams on the schedule this year. They beat up on the sisters of the poor and lost to almost every good team they faced. 10-1 to 2-4 down the stretch.
  9. Yes losing 4 superbowls in a row will never be touched. I agree. #empty cupboard.
  10. Only if the sports team is worth spending money on. You wouldnt keep going back to a steakhouse that sucked just because you like steak. The good thing is because of the competition teams dont stay down long. Probably why there has been 11 championships in the last 18 years.
  11. I think you hit the nail on the head. New Englanders won't spend money on suckage. With 4 major sports vying for your money they need to stay competitive to get their piece of the pie.
  12. I think for most Pats fans it will be if the team is competitive. If they go 8-8 with 5 losses by 1 score. I think most will be ok with that. If they go 3-13 with 10 blowout losses. Then things could get dicey. Don't think the latter will happen anytime soon. BB I'm sure will keep the team competitive. It doesn't sound like he plans on retiring.
  13. Not talking about future. Talking right now. If Houston or Tenn. put up a quick 17 pts. both teams are toast. Neither team is built to come back from that deficit. That's where they are the same.
  14. I think most reasonable Pats fan understands its time for a rebuild.
  15. Bills and Pats are the same team. Neither one is winning a shootout. If the defense fails to hold in the teens they probably lose.
  16. That's probably where the season ends for both teams. Neither team has an offense that will be able to hang.
  17. Pats and Bills are almost carbon copies of each other this year. If the defence doesn't hold the other team in the teens they are probably losing.
  18. 6th seed would have to beat KC for a bills pats division round rematch
  19. Bills are in great shape for the next couple of years. 90 mil in cap space. More than enough to keep the defense together add a rt and some receiver depth. Allen is still progressing. No reason to think they won't be favorites next year for the face. NE is heading for a pretty decent sized rebuildb in the next couple of years. No second and only about 22 mil in cap space
