Psyched the Bills got Philips, thought the 9ers were gonna take him. Just saw that the Pats got OT Brown from the Niners, was hoping the Bills could trade for him after the draft. He is a good tackle and highly rated, only 25 years old too.

Fwiw, after the draft 5 pundits were asked to name who won the first round and Charlie Casserly said it was the Bills.

I was really looking forward to all the Bills picks today. There are going to be a lot of good players taken in the next 2 rounds, hope the Bills can find one at the end of the night. An o lineman is the biggest need imo, but bpa among the many needs would work. Had so many picks in the top 65, coming away with just 2 guys who are raw potential is tough. If they both become great it is epic, if they both flame out it is a total disaster. Time will judge, I will remain hopeful.

I think Mayfield, Rosen and Darnold all start games this year for one reason or another and Jackson is on the field for specific packages. With the offensive line as bad as it looks right now I hope Allen gets to sit til they can get it fixed. Sucks for AJ cause it won't be easy to look good behind that line with those receivers. Plenty of time before the season to add a couple parts and shuffle the deck, but not much money to work with.

I get it, but the Bills could have outbid them without both 2nd rndrs. I don't mind they moved up and got the guy they wanted, hope it works out obviously, but I think it was a big overpay. Love the Edmund's pick and they didn't overpay. I realize trading into the top 10 you are going to pay extra but that was too much, panicked a little I think. Is what it is.

The first 2nd rounder alone was worth 370 to gain 300, never should have given the 2nd one. Panic move and large overpay imo, good thing they still have next years picks because I think their offense will be terrible this year. Hard to do much with a bad line and poor wr corp.
