  1. I'll need oven mitts for your scorching hot take. Remember how badly Andre Roberts torched is last year? And how much this board loves the signing for that alone?
  2. 14 tackles, 3.5 for loss against LSU for DPOW honors; for how we coached up Milano, I don't see how anyone can dislike this in terms of value and (eventual) positional need
  3. I really **** the bed in the 2.0 mock having the Chiefs spend their first on DreMont Jones lol; from what I read he was a late first/early second guy
  4. Being so up and close to Ed on his pro day probably didn't have as pleasant of an aroma as downtown Buffalo, though
  5. Jerry Tillery LAC, Greedy Williams tonight, and Devin White is from a nearby city in Webster...318's are booming!
  6. Let's look on the bright side. Since he lasted this late, it's not that he's a guarantee to be a safe pick. The concerns about his ability to get separation could very much prevent him from having lots of success in the NFL - he could be more Josh Doctson (who looked unstoppable at TCU) than Dez Bryant, and he's drawn comparisons to both of them.
  7. If Mayock had Ferrell as a top 5 player as an analyst, so many media members would easily hop on that bandwagon. Mayock the GM doing this has everyone scratching their head, though. I won't question it, but like you said Logic, I'm glad that the end result gave us a player we really wanted.
  8. Hopefully SF takes Bosa so they don't have a prime edge defender fall in their laps, and I also don't want them to find a trade back partner as a means of getting more early picks. Miami, who knows? I just want Fitzpatrick to win enough games (excluding against us) to where it ruins their tank for Tua or Herbert. As for the Patriots, I want them to maintain the status quo and keep drafting utility players - stay away from Rosen and don't have a partner that's willing to let you trade up to get a QB or TE that you'd really like. Nightmare scenario for us? I can't really envision one honestly.
  9. Yeah, we're totally going to get Julio freaking Jones (or even Ridley) for moving back 5 spots.
  10. That's where I lived grade school through undergrad; it's a nice place for a family.
  11. Signing him for only $5M compared to $15-20M for guys like Bradford or Glennon was a huge win, as was getting a 5th for a guy that seems to struggle with being a decent backup in this league. The concerns were justified, though. This coaching staff saw and practiced with Peterman all offseason to determine that he could start, and that only he and our rookie were enough to roster. Props to Beane for being honest and saying that this was a mistake and that a veteran like DA should have been added earlier (which was what most of us were saying).
  12. I'm going to need oven mitts for your scorching hot take. RGIII and Kap's successes are nowhere near compared to what Mahomes accomplished this year with his arm.
  13. I don't agree with a lot of the posts on here, it is indeed pretty ridiculous that Whaley thought that they wouldn't draft a QB because they had Alex Smith on the roster - his age and middling play spoke for itself, and a trade of that magnitude giving up a future first round pick wouldn't be for a wide receiver or something...oh wait The minute KC moved up with us, who here didn't expect them to get Watson or Mahomes? Not me that's for sure
  14. If they're sticking with a 3-4 (and still badly in need of an edge rusher), wouldn't he and Leonard Williams be redundant? Then again, if he's a future all-pro, who cares I guess
  15. Oh, those poor guys. If they can't find a suitor, they'll have to be stuck with Bosa/Allen instead ?
  16. I'd let it bite me at the potential benefit of gaining superpowers.
  17. With the 63rd overall pick, the KC Chiefs select Amani Oruwariye, CB Penn State Double dipping on Littany Lions with these two most recent picks; was debating taking Jachai Polite as a high-risk, high-reward player, but the Chiefs are better off being conservative and addressing the DBs here. His measurables, discipline, and comments about the type of person he is off the field makes this a solid pick, and he could emerge as a starter by the end of the year. Back to you @Virgil
  18. With the 61st overall pick, the KC Chiefs select Miles Sanders, RB, Penn State After the Bills brought in this guy for a visit, I read scouting reports, others' opinions, and watched some highlights of him and came away very impressed. Carlos Hyde is on a one-year deal, Damien Williams signed a two year extension and may not be suited for a workhorse role, and Tyreek Hill's possible absence adds to the need for speed in KC. @section122 is on the clock, followed by me again
  19. Sorry for not getting back earlier guys, I had a busy day at school and will try to figure out my pick shortly/right now.
  20. Overall improvements with both us and the Jets should lessen the gap this year, but passing them will continue to happen in a gradual manner. If Josh is our guy, great; we can continue to use resources next offseason to make us improve even more.
