  1. Having Richie and John next to him as opposed to the crap Marrone put out on the field (Colin Brown, Doug Legursky, etc.) also makes the C's job much easier
  2. Sarcasm/joking aside, just like Philly Brown, the Chargers didn't choose to tender this guy, so this won't affect the formula This serves as a PSA for all potential future whiners
  3. His twitter conversation with Preston Brown (something along the lines of going to miss playing together) all but assures that the current staff doesn't have them in their plans.
  4. I don't get the Gabriel comparisons aside from the straight-line speed. Gabriel has run much better routes and has proven his worth in the league. Then again, this pontificating could blow up in my face, and their HC learns to use him to maximum potential...
  5. Watching that knee injury happen in the Dallas game broke my heart. He worked his butt off on ST and constantly made terrific plays during Marrone's first couple of years to earn that new contract, after having fought through the heart complications. BM4J, good grief - your temperament is as volatile as anyone's Conversely, before Rex's first year, if he didn't resign with us, it's highly likely back on BBMB you'd vent and spit out the generic comments about how we refused to keep our own, right?
  6. Remember how the loudest cheer in that game was Atlanta's GW FG?
  7. I remember a bunch of years back how everyone was terrified for Belichick trading for Ochocinco and Haynesworth. Obviously, Peterson's work ethic and attitude are millions of times better than the one those clowns had, but I'm skeptical it'll follow through. Reading through the roto-wire, it seems that there's not mutual interest anyway. AP is just basically putting himself on a pedestal with a public wishlist - Raiders, Pats, and some other teams I can't recall from reports
  8. I'm a tad bit confused at all the 'hell-no's' I've seen A shell of his former self? Sure, but then again, don't we have the most pathetic WR corps in the league? He'd be cheap. He loves the city and team and would definitely be a team player that's grown from his mistake of blaming God for his dropped TD (matter of fact he did that the very next week). I'm not sure how the rest of you guys can 100% confidently say he's "done." A torn ACL at the start of this year as well as a season ending injury the year before that could just be straight up bad luck. Phillip Rivers said he was excited to work with him during the season all throughout OTAs and TC, but for naught. My view on this is basically why-the-hell-not assuming he's cheap. It's not like we're going to add at least 3 more WRs or so, right? With that said, I doubt he fits the Whaley mold anyway...something to do with spurning former Bills like Christie right?
  9. yeah, it sucks that the draft is the only way we can replace 2 CBs that are going into FA. Oh wait, FA hasn't started yet? Hmm.
  10. NRC was one of the nicest Bills I've met, and it's easy to see why he was a fan favorite. Sucks, but it's sensible with the money saved and how his best years with us were with Pettine. As for the legend of Garrison Sanborn, we have a LS signed to a reserve/future contract, I think he's from LSU. I'm sure Crossman and his surprisingly high tenure here had plenty of enough insight for how we should manage with life without Garrison.
  11. Exactly. Same with temperamentally talented Jerry. And Sammy's fifth year option is on the horizon, and I highly doubt he'll want to put up with yet another QB more years than he's been with us. Kyle Orton, EJ, Tyrod, tank QB (Cardale/Hoyer/Foles/forced-to-be-trotted-out rookie), new rookie QB? Gross. He'll follow the path of Hogan and Woods. And should Sammy walk, Whaley can most certainly follow him out of the door come then.
  12. Would Kyle Williams (or our new HC...or Shady...or Sammy) really tolerate a backstabbing like that? Kyle said he came back because he likes the vision that's been put in place. Trying to win-now is what brought him back. Besides, assuming Cleveland takes Garrett and SF isn't sold on a QB this year, their rosters are far more pitiful and more likely to have more losses than us this upcoming year, anyway. I'd love Darnold as much as the next guy, but whoever gets him will have the fortune of doing so and it's not us. Just like Fitz/Chan paving way for Jimmy Clausen's Panthers to get Cam Newton while Andy stayed in school. Those lucky bastards in Indy just happened to have Peyton not play the year that he declared...
  13. The last thing i'd want for us to take is a WR at 10. Regarding a few earlier posts, As for Julio Jones, they did it when Matt Ryan solidified himself as their QB for years to come. Inserting a skill position player like Corey Davis (and subtracting woods) can't instantly make our offenses one of the best ones out there. The hype train was there for the past two years for naught. WRs should be taken in the first round if they're generational talents like Calvin Johnson/AJ Green or trading up for one like Sammy or Julio when your QB is set (smh "all in" on EJ...) They should be drafted when we're a receiver away from contending. Not a LB or 2, DB or 2, RT, and probably QB away.
  14. 1. Billzboy -> JimKellyTryouts 2. 2007 until BBMB Destruction 3. Clinton, MS 4. 5 - no recollection of any playoffs thus far 5. Dying without seeing our team hoist the Lombardi at least once 6. Some B's - Bills, Beer, Bud, Babes... 7. The guy that took the job over the other guy, by default 8. Never heard of it, sounds like the rodent Pokemon 9. Huh? 10. Ancient History
