I’m in the Steve Nelson camp. Sherman loves our culture & team I’ve seen a couple of times of him speaking glowingly about the Bills. He’d run here to play in Buffalo. He’s smart & experienced but not sure he has the physical abilities anymore. A 4 or 5 million 1 year deal for Sherman would be fine by me.

Steve Nelson would solve all our CB2 issues.

When I was doing mocks I had a CB, 1Tech, and a BPA in the first 3 rounds. If you would have told me we could of had JOK in the first , metifulu ( cuse CB) , and our pick of 1 tech’s I’d be pumped. We didn’t take any of them. How do I see it so different than Beane. This year I realized I have no idea how Beane is thinking. Last year I correctly called Moss & Davis but this year yikes 😬

I would dislike a DT first round draft pick. Our third round pick seems like the sweet spot for a 1 technique with good upside and the value is right for that pick

In my world: 30 BPA- DE, WR, RB, DB 62 CB (if not taken in round 1) 93 DT ( LSU, NC ST, OH ST) if a DT is taken in round 3 hopefully the Tex A & M guy or the FLA guy in round 5

He’s going to look like a genius if this kid becomes a star. He will look silly if he’s on someone’s PS in September.

I think Kiper missed on this one. No one else has him even close to a second round grade. He’s a day 3 pick. Seems as he has some upside. I’d be pretty pissed if we took this guy at 61.

I really like Zimmer. I’m meh 😒 on Butler. But I think the Bills view Butler as a hybrid DT. 1 tech ( Star, Harrison), 3 tech (Ed, Zimmer). Butler is 70/30 (3/1). If I was Beane I would release Butler after the draft saving X million in the cap ,because with the 93 pick I chose Player X. ( LSU, NC ST, OH ST). Harrison Phillips would be the hybrid guy. Not sure how good he’d be as a third string 3 tech. I guess that’s why it’s good I’m the the GM😀✅

How would Josh have done last year with Zay Jones and the rest of the misfits he had in his first year. Not well. Star opting out hurt Ed more than anyone by a large margin. We all love Harrison Phillips but up to now he’s not good enough. We need better at 1 tech for Ed to thrive in his role.

Is Maurice Hurst a fit. He’s on a rookie contract and played pretty well. I know he plummeted in the draft do to heart concerns. Weird release.

Josh has been injured twice. Once in the pocket ( elbow)against the Texans and a concussion from scrambling out of the pocket against the Patriots . To my knowledge he has never been injured on designed runs. And most of his fumbles have been in the pocket sacks or when he’s trying to improvise. I feel like he’s fumbled a designed run or two but I can’t remember a specific play.

But Matt Miller or no one else outside of One Bills Drive has any idea who we are drafting. Matt Miller’s speculations are 100% educated guesses. Bills kept Addison. He took a small haircut financially. If we get another DE in will be in the draft.
