He goes in the 6th on the draft network’s mock draft machine. He’d be part smoke, part McKenzie, & part Roberts. I’d love him with our 5th round pick. Sounds like he might go higher
What happened with Chad Kelly? Did he sign a futures deal. I’d be fine with him as backup in 2022 if he kept his nose clean and was in the building for a year and a half
I think everyone agrees we need to address the CB2 & DE positions. I feel another sneaky need is a backup 1 technique. If Star isn’t ready to play or his play isn’t up to par I don’t have faith in horrible Harry or Butler to give us Championship level play. And this will hurt Ed Oliver and the LB’s overall play. I hope we can get a solid vet at a decent price or address the back up 1 technique with a day two pick. Important ✅
The Eagles 🦅 were a dumpster fire🔥 on offense last year. Wentz was a hot mess. I’m giving Ertz a pass last year because of the total dysfunction on that side of the ball, that being said I don’t think Ertz comes in and is a game changer. He will be solid at moving the sticks. He will be great against zone. Which is played a lot against us. He would be a welcome addition . I just hope his addition wouldn’t slow down our 10 & 11 personal sets. Or slow down Dawson’s development.
Are you even looking at the salaries he’s handing out. Mills is the only decent signing. Everyone else is a extreme overpay. If the Bills did this this website would have crashed by now
BB a HOF coach has always been very passive with FA early in the process . The Patriots usually come in late looking for bargain binge prices. And often succeed. They always let more people walk than take in FA. And reap the benefits of extra draft picks. Why the change this year? Brandon Beane is the reason. BB and the Patriots have had a front row seat watching the Bills transformation by Beane. The Patriots have been triggered by the Bills & the success of TB in Tampa. The problem for NE is that their not good at this. They look like some day drinking random fan took over the controls of the NE Patriots. I’m happy but very surprised. The Patriots are in panic mode trying to keep up.
So a punt & kick returner and #5 or #6 receiver can’t be a gunner? I remember Easley returning kicks, being a receiver, and a gunner. Pretty sure he didn’t return punts though.
Ruchie’s time in Buffalo did not end well. Can’t remember all the details but wasn’t he throwing weights at people in a gym in Florida because he thought they were undercover spies?
This to me smacks of combing a McKenzie & Roberts role into one. Hopefully you can add Taiwan Jones role into this one position too. Is that asking too much 🤔
