  1. "He's an actual nazi."
  2. There's some horrible stuff going on with not being able to cross the border. One of my husband's tenants has a son in Toronto. He was diagnosed with cancer (like his body is riddled with it), he's in his early 20s. She can't get over to see him. Simply heartbreaking.
  3. The only problem with the fatality numbers is "with" being "from." Deaths are skewed, too. Still, if you use have been using the skewed death numbers for the last few months, it is probably the best focus. In any event, this "COVID cases are rising, we are all gonna diiiiiiiiiiiieeeeeee, head back to the basement" that is being pushed by the "msm" and panic porn enthusiasts seem to be ignoring that we want herd immunity (ummm or was that last week?), with more testing comes more diagnosis (ummm or was more testing last week?), and as long as the hospital beds are not full, you gotta go on with life (or was flatten the curve er, three months ago?)
  4. This will be appealed. The military defends the border, hence ... Appeals court rules Trump administration lacked authority to shift military money to wall The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled 2-1 that the administration illegally went around Congress in reappropriating the funds. A federal appeals court on Friday ruled that the Trump administration acted unlawfully when it transferred $2.5 billion in military construction projects to build parts of the wall at the southern border -- a blow to the administration’s efforts to fulfill President Trump’s signature 2016 campaign promise. The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled 2-1 that the administration illegally went around Congress in reappropriating the funds. It ruled on a suit brought by a coalition of border states including California and environmental groups. Why do I think it had more to do with this? The court also ruled that the government was not in compliance with environmental regulations, and was therefore harming those who visit the region for nature-related activities including bird-watching and would also disturb wildlife. </snip>
  5. Cuomo, de Blasio wrong to limit worship services, condone mass protests: federal judge New York Gov. coronavirus orders unfairly targeted houses of worship, federal judge says. A federal judge said New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, Attorney General Letitia James, and New York City Mayor a Bill de Blasio "exceeded" their executive limits by limiting worship services and condoning mass protests as the state continues to reopen from coronavirus restrictions. </snip> Governor Cuomo and Mayor de Blasio could have just as easily discouraged protests, short of condemning their message, in the name of public health and exercised discretion to suspend enforcement for public safety reasons instead of encouraging what they knew was a flagrant disregard of the outdoor limits and social distancing rules," the judge added. "They could have also been silent. But by acting as they did, Governor Cuomo and Mayor de Blasio sent a clear message that mass protests are deserving of preferential treatment." </snip> As a result of the federal order, Cuomo, James, and de Blasio are "enjoined and restrained from enforcing any indoor gathering limitations” against the involved houses of worship “greater than imposed for Phase 2 industries,” provided that participants follow the prescribed social distancing. They are also forbidden from “enforcing any limitation for outdoor gatherings provided that participants in such gatherings follow social distancing requirements as set forth in the applicable executive orders and guidance.” </snip>

  7. One of the comments I read was, "When did Biden shrink to three feet tall?" What a camera angle that is.
  8. The SC denied an application to vacate stay.
  9. I am pretty sure there is already a law about federal monuments. I have no idea what the EO says. (more in thread)
  10. They get their talking points on the news. I was flipping through cable news today and NBC and MSNBC was all covid, all the time. All "rising cases!" with no context or by how many, how many people tested, how many were asymptomatic, etc. It was crazy. I guess the rioting and looting wasn't polling well. ?‍♂️
  11. Women are dead last in the liberal hierarchy. It has never been more obvious than the last few years. The first wave feminists must be rolling in their graves.
  12. I think I read the people of Minneapolis may have to vote for this. Something to do with the city charter, and they were rushing to get it onto the November ballot.
  13. Why would she spit out something so stupid? She drew more attention to it, and she cannot risk discovery.
  14. Twitter I am adding the image since you can't see the warning here. The whole thread is people posting responses with the word oxygen in some context and getting slapped with a warning.
