Does LB Baylon Spector make the Bills final 53?
Doc Brown replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think every team feels like this post cuts. I thought for sure Cam Lewis would be snagged by someone last year. -
Guys. Just use common sense. Why in the world would a person risk being behind bars the rest of his life for not returning classified documents? Was a full out raid really necessary? This whole thing just seems like an overzealous DOJ and FBI that will only continue to fuel populism as people become more and more skeptical of our government institutions.

How did he last until the 5th round? He looks as smooth back then as he does now.

Myles Garrett got a 1.035 million dollar base salary his first year his extension kicked in on his 125 million dollar deal. The exact same Watson got. Stafford's base salary this year is 1.5 million on his 4 year 160 million dollar deal. Prescott got 2.5 million on the first year of his contract on basically the same deal. Murray will have only a 2 million dollar base salary the first year his extension kicks in. You get my point. GM's do this he reason they do this to build salary cap space to allow them flexibility in the future. Regardless, I hope the Browns aren't dumb enough to realize how that would look optically but I wouldn't put it past them. Maybe they thought they could use the argument I just presented to justify them safeguarding him financially against a suspension hoping the public would buy it. Either way they're idiots.

That's pry the biggest question. I wondered how he'd fit in LA's offense with Woods and Kupp last year and then Woods tears his ACL days after the trade. We never really got to see how he'd respond to being that 3rd or 4th option. I don't mean to be Dr. Doom but an injury to a WR more than likely will happen at some point this year. We lost Brown for some time in '20 and Beasley always seemed like he was playing through injury. If OBJ is willing to take a contract like he did with the Rams last year built in with incentives then I'd be all for it. As for Davis, he killed it in the Chiefs game but I go back to the season finale where he had a really bad game with Emmanuel Sanders out. Three receptions on 13 targets with three drops. That may not be the norm as he filled in nicely for Brown in 2020 for the few games he missed but I need to see him full time as a WR2 before declaring him our long term solution opposite Diggs.

By the time OBJ is ready to play we'll know if Davis is a legitimate #2 WR. All signs point to yes but he still has to get out there and prove it. OBJ looked like his old self in the playoffs when it counted most. If Diggs or Davis miss some time he's a significant upgrade over our current backup WR's outside. He can also play the slot if there's an injury or a drop in play there. He'd be great insurance down the crucial stretch run is the best way of putting it.

DeSantis For President in 2024?
Doc Brown replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
You're right but I'm very jaded when it comes to politicians. He's a former lawyer who has degrees from Yale and Harvard. He knows what he's doing. -
It was a tough choice but AB announces his biggest regret…

There was a time when I legitimately believed this guy would challenge Jerry Rice's all time records after six 1200 plus yard seasons by the age of 30. What a sad waste of talent. -

Toy Story 2 blew the doors off Lightyear imo. Spin-offs are rarely successful. -

Agreed. You can't ignore Disney+ increase in subscribers and then blame the first loss of Netflix subscribers in history on going woke. Ignoring the former and embracing the latter is what you call confirmation bias. Increased streaming competition and a raise in prices is why Netflix struggled this last quarter. -

There was backlash because they removed the Taiwanese flag from the patch of his leather jacket in the belief it was done to appease China in the initial trailer. They then caved after the outcry and put it back on. -

Is to tap into the right culture war in order to advance his political ambitions. Smart people on the right want a palatable alternative to Trump while continuing the "Trumpism" movement. That's in both his policies and his ability to fight back against whatever they see as a threat. I can confirm I just watched it on Disney plus because I needed something to occupy my niece. It was okay but not as good as any of the Toy Story movies. -
Can Josh hold?

Poll, are you better off or worse off
Doc Brown replied to Over 29 years of fanhood's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
It would be more interesting if we could do this poll in the OTW forum instead of PPP. Not possible though. I personally am way better off as I had a lot of cash ready to go into an index fund once the market took that huge crash in March of 2020. I got lucky. I'm also more appreciative of some of the freedoms we have in this country that were briefly stripped away from us given this was a black swan event. -
I never understood the love that some have for this guy. He's always just been a jerk in my mind.

NFL Top 100 starts Sunday 14 August 2022 .. Who's your top 10?
Doc Brown replied to wjag's topic in The Stadium Wall
Lamar may be ahead of them given the players voted him into the Pro Bowl. That's when these ballets were handed out.
