My biggest problem with the MVP decision is it doesn't include the playoffs. Lamar is historically "un-clutch" and bad in the playoffs. Yet every year we annoint LJ MVP by Nov 1st. Josh basically has a perfect season going. His 2 int's are 150% on his wrs. And as usual he'll probably end up 3rd or 4th in the voting. I just feel Josh is heading toward the Dan Marino legacy more & more each year. And it frustrates the crap out of me.

How bout we give Hamler a shot? He's got more experience than Virgil.

Season Predictions at the Half-way point
LABILLBACKER replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall
Like @Big Turk says, not without a better defense. -
I agree, I think Samuel's turf toe is worse than anyone is letting on. This organization should've shut him down weeks ago. Now with Coleman and Cooper hurt, we're forced to exacerbate things. I realize we're paying him 24M but it serves no purpose making this situation worse.

Bills signing Quinton Jefferson; Update..AND Jordan Phillips
LABILLBACKER replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
Smoot at 260 is too light to play any DT position. Phillips at 335 does have the girth to be a feux 1T at least until he gets hurt. Size wise this team really doesn't have a 1T on the roster. -

He's been productive in what he's asked to do which has mostly been blocking. But I'm still hoping for a speed wr to take the top off of Tampa 2 zones. Hope we figure out what we're going to do with Samuel.

Week 10, Bills v. Colts, PREDICT THE SCORE!
LABILLBACKER replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
Bills 27 Colts 16 ....Bills and Josh continue to find success in short passing game and opportunistic runs from Cook/Davis. Taylor gets his 90+ yards but he doesn't go nuts like a couple years ago. Flacco eventually becomes an easy statue target. -
What is the future of the AFC East?
LABILLBACKER replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall
Rodgers will likely retire after this season and the Jets organization has historically been a train wreck. Tua is bound to have another concussion event which will probably end his career. Hill & Waddle will become disgruntled and want out. The Patriots have some hope as Maye could turn into a poor man's version of Josh. But alot will be asked of Mayo (defensive HC) to actually develop their qb. The Bills once rid of the Von cap will have an opportunity to continue dominating a weak division. Better decisions need to be made at WR & DE. If we can't stop 15, then we better be prepared to accept yearly regular season accomplishments and nothing more. -

....and then we watch these same rotational DLineman fail to touch Patrick Mahomes...year after year...great strategy. -

Completely agree. I love Jefferson as depth once Carter/Smoot return. Feel free to release Jordan any time, assuming he doesn't get hurt before that. -

Both short term 3 tech bandaids, but Jefferson is better than Phillips. Hopefully Ankou gets his snaps with these signings. Carter returning will help. -
Exactly...he had 1 good half during his first 3 games on the roster. Game 2 goose-egg. Game 3 injured. Meanwhile Dhop is off to the races with 2 tds & 86 yards. And I guarantee you Andy will scheme him up much more successfully than Joe will with Amari.

We're at 10%+ every year because of Josh, not the coaching.
