Fire McD and Hire Belichek after we lose AGAIN in the playoffs
LABILLBACKER replied to JPL7's topic in The Stadium Wall
Like Cowherd said this morning discussing McDermott, Mark Jackson had Curry & Klay and couldn't win. Steve Kerr comes in and wins multiple championships. If Ben Johnson can make Goff (who McVey dumped) look this good, imagine what he could do with Josh. -

See the big picture. It's not about 10-3. Don't be "regular season" guy. It's about losing every year in the division round. It's about going to a SB, not settling for your yearly reg season faux Lombardi. It's about replacing a really nice guy who constantly makes stupid game day mistakes. But the #1 reason to consider moving on from McD is he's wasting the greatest qb I've ever seen play. -

Sorry but I'm contacting Ben Johnson first before I even consider Bill. BJ would jump on the Bills job in a millisecond. -
Did Josh like the call at the goal line?

McDermott wouldn't know the difference between the options if it bit him in the ass. -
The root source of D problems is the D Line

Then find a monster 1 tech. A guy that blocks out the sun. Someone who's not Haynesworth. We've been rotating Jags @ 1T since McD took the job. And yes Ed Oliver has not played anywhere near his contract. -
Oliver had 1 tackle and zero sacks against KC. @Kelly to Allen's idea of elite I guess is a little different?

We should've called some variation of the pass/run option. That timeout absolutely cannot get burned. And our tush pushes lately are starting to get stopped. The Rams snuffed one earlier in the game. Brady/McD have to be smarter.- 125 replies

I've always hated Sean's bend don't break zone scheme. It's destined to fail if your front 4 can't do squat. I guess when you've failed to draft even 1 dominant pass rusher, you're forced to play constant rotations. Shuttling in "fresh" mediocre bodies. -
An absolute disaster by the coaches at the end of this game

McD hired Farwell then had to fire him. He hired Smiley and likely will fire him after the season. Maybe McD needs to take a course on hiring better employees? -
I agree...we could drop to the 3 seed if Pittsburgh keeps winning. I cautiously was hoping Matt wouldn't have this much rest but I think alot of his tentative movements are mental. He's going thru the same crap Von & Tre had to deal with. Who knows what he'll look like at the start of the playoffs?

Bills only had 9 players on the field for the final punt

Our entire ST is a joke. Thank God Bass is making a few kicks but this dept. needs to be blown up next year. -

....and if you think he has improved I don't know what to tell you. -

We need larger, stronger game wrecking DT's who can push the pocket right into the face of the qb. We haven't had a great or elite DE since the day Josh was drafted. This is the same BS broken record since McD took over. His rotations simply put weaker, undersized players in the snap count pool. And as we saw yesterday, if you don't get pressure on the opposing qb, your zone will be easily destroyed. Mahomes finds easy cavities all day as did Stafford. -

Absolutely not. He's making the same stupid critical game management mistakes as he did in 2018. The only person who's drastically improved is the same guy who carries this team on his back and is 90% responsible for the games we win. Trust me @Augie I'm waiting for that proverbial light bulb to turn on like the rest of us. -

Cool, let me do some math here. So McD has already coached 8 years. Josh is 28 so when Josh turns 40, they'll both win their first SB. Got it.... -

We should always just "get over" all his mistakes because as sure as the day is long, there will be more down the road. The problem with Sean is he doesn't learn from his mistakes. He doesn't get better at his job. I think the only people that need therapy are the lemmings that keep supporting him after moronic games. -
Right now our ST is not that special. I don't think ST should be the underlying factor in whether a guy gets defensive snaps. This Elam narrative is so ridiculous. Start playing more man you stubborn goat McD and get Elam's ass in there.

If Pegula is comfortable with regular season continuity, then he'll never replace McD. Even if he knows in his heart that 90% of the success of this organization is because of Josh.

I have no faith in Sean's soft zone scheme. I have no faith in anyone on this roster getting to the qb. And I expect McD to continue to fail in drafting an elite pass rusher.
