  1. Stop forcing into Samuel. Throw to him only when open. The remaining targets should go to Shakir and Kincaid in that order.
  2. Love how cbs doesn't replay the penalty.
  3. This offense just cannot compete in 1st half's. Been this way all season.
  4. He's got no touch on deeper throws.
  5. We're so suseptible to D gap or outside runs. Our DE's get constantly clogged in the middle.
  6. Brady just struggles in the 1st half.
  7. What a waste of a play call. Newsflash Joe, the qb draw for Josh doesn't work anymore.
  8. They'll bring Richardson in shortly.
  9. Shocked they didn't run on 1st down. Blitz Flacco all day.
  10. I knew there would come a day when Josh would have to catch his own passes.
  11. We better run the ball tomorrow with some success. Shakir & Kincaid are going to have to carry the workload too. Maybe a new surprise wr steps up?
  12. The only splash play Tremaine ever made was when he left the Bills.
  13. Give Josh a HOF WR & RB. Give Josh an elite game wrecking DE and it's a whole different discussion. Now if we only had a competent playoff D & McD?
  14. Check back with me in a decade when the very first RB in NFL history gets flagged for leading with his helmet. It's not right but the speed of the game is too fast and refs are too flawed.
  15. Oh I don't know? Maybe because older refs are slower and more clumsy to keep up with the speed of the NFL right now. Their visual acuity weakens after 50 years old. They have to navigate a 100 yard football field. They're not sitting behind home plate. And the evidence is part of this discussion. We're witnessing more and more blown calls every year. They only way to help these guys on the field is expanding booth review teams upstairs. You are probably right in one argument that full time refs will not solve the problem. Additional training will not reduce the errors. This game is too damn fast and they need help upstairs. Hiring younger refs would help these guys physically keep up with these 20+ year old world class athletes. One final problem to getting younger refs in the NFL is the league won't even consider you unless you officiated 10-15+ years at the high school and college level. By the time you get that NFL promotion you're approaching 50.
  16. Thank you!...for me the objective moves from the 1 or 2 seed to entering the playoffs as healthy as humanly possible. Home field for us is no longer this great advantage it once was. Rest injured players and load manage as much as possible. Heal up Cooper, Coleman, Carter, Samuel, Milano and any other starter dinged up. We've basically got the division wrapped up barring a historic meltdown. Enter the playoffs more healthy than these previous 2 seasons. Do that, and I love our chances.
  17. Paying refs as year round employees is a great idea but the NFL will never do it. The game is too fast for older refs to ever get it right. Smart coaches like Belichick know to tell their players to break the rules late in games because the NFL won't ever call these infractions at the risk of stopping the flow of the game. And yes a competent team of NFL replay people upstairs (at every game) could drastically reduce these egregious mistakes. But again the NFL will probably pass on this idea.
  18. Exactly...our front 4 has just been serviceable and nothing more. With Milano out, the LB's also have been inconsistent. Our safeties are no longer pro bowl caliber. We will be very susceptible to getting torched by Taylor this Sunday. Historically we don't play well in Indy. So hopefully our defense and patchwork WR's can rise up.
  19. My biggest problem with the MVP decision is it doesn't include the playoffs. Lamar is historically "un-clutch" and bad in the playoffs. Yet every year we annoint LJ MVP by Nov 1st. Josh basically has a perfect season going. His 2 int's are 150% on his wrs. And as usual he'll probably end up 3rd or 4th in the voting. I just feel Josh is heading toward the Dan Marino legacy more & more each year. And it frustrates the crap out of me.
  20. I would much rather take my chances in the playoffs with Baltimore over Cincy. We're not giving up another 80 yard td run to Henry. We just don't match up well with Cincy.
  21. Missed another blatant PI and a shot to Burrow's facemask. This leagues refs are so incredibly bad.
