They should've been embarrassed way back to Jacksonville. On a side note Jerry Sullivan plays strat-o-matic.....what a tool.

Gameday Bills vs Pats* Postgame Thread
LABILLBACKER replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
If you gave BB our entire team he would be devastating. Let's assume McDaniels as OC. He'd have the proper players doing their job. He'd trim the fat on underperforming guys. He doesn't put a square peg in a round hole like our stooges. -
Sorry but I'm far more disappointed for the fans then the players. These guys are making bank. We're showing up at airports and enemy stadiums in droves. I felt sorry for the 90's players. They just couldn't get over the hump for 4 years. Now we have a QB better than Jim. Yet are these players really motivated enough to outplay opponents like Tennessee, NE .....hell even Jacksonville? And are the coaches component enough to point them in the right direction? I feel much worse for the fans, especially old timers like myself.

Being a loyal Bills fan is exhausting. I've done it for 55 years. Just when they suck you in, they let you down.

That was not a Football Game Last Night - Weather ruined it

And I strongly doubt Goodell or the other owners would ever discourage the Bills building a dome or retractable roof. The Allegiant is a pretty beautiful dome for 2B. Can't they develop plans for a slightly less costly version of that? -
Beane needs to spend serious resources on the OL
LABILLBACKER replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall
Beane might be only as good as his scouts are. I know he signs off on the picks but maybe our scouts are failing to find any decent trench players? His scouts this spring do not have the luxury to screw this up. -
Edmunds is a disgrace and all I could do is laugh reading that ridiculous Edmunds report weekly. I can live without Star and the overpersuing predator. At least over matched (less talented)players like Phillips and Zimmer give 100% effort. If there ever was a year we needed 10+ picks, it would be 2022.

Amen....last night our 3 headed rb machine had 60 yards on 19 caries.....3.1 If you take out Devin's 17 yard run they averaged 2.38 yards per carry. Pathetic....dump them all this offseason and start over. New OL.....New RB's....

Sorry Shaw but I needed a little more vitreal out of you on this one. Our 3 primary coaches failed miserably in many areas. Why Leslie didn't go to an extra DL player earlier in the game is inexcusable. Daboll insisting on 1st down runs that produced little or nothing. Especially on our last red zone 1st down. Sean burning 2 timeouts early. Notice Belichick ALWAYS has 3 TO's in his pocket at the end of every game. Belichick dominated our 3 coaches as he surgically dismantled them. Yes the players have to execute and stop making careless mistakes like Breida & Knox. Yes our trenches suck and it will probably take 2 full offseasons to fix that. We are not a SB caliber team this year. Beane has alot of work to do.

What makes a good offense, run first/pass first/balance?
LABILLBACKER replied to Matt_In_NH's topic in The Stadium Wall
Good points. It does help to have some semblance of a run attack to keep teams honest. If a batter knows every pitch is a fastball his production explodes. I know that seems counterintuitive after watching Leslie girl have no answer to a run he knows is coming. We need better trenches. That goes for our 90's team too. We can still pass 60-70% of the time. And if the damn incessant winds of Orchard park would ever simmer down, that would help too. I've said my peace on a dome. -
Felt like he played alot less than this. I still can't wrap my head around Belichick running 95% of the plays. Everyone on the planet knows this yet they still rattle off 4-5 yards per play. Nice job Leslie girl.....

Last year this organization of McDermott and Beane knew they were deficient in OL/RB. They got so caught up in the KC/ Mahomes narrative that they went DE on the first 2 picks. So far these 2 plus AJ have not proven strong enough to stop the run. We needed to mix our picks better. Or at least make better decisions on FA's. Now they're basically forced to go 80% OL in this upcoming draft. And who knows where we'll get a competent RB?

He's garbage and has been for awhile. His instincts are terrible. This Edmunds report was such nonsense. He does 1 thing well, cover TE's. That's it.....literally that's it. Play Dotson, hell play Andre Smith more or just put Klein in there the remaining of the season. What a 1st round "trade up" project bust.

I wouldn't trade Allen for anyone in the league
LABILLBACKER replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
I agree his physical attributes are perfect for Buffalo. He does have to improve mentally. Not throwing to Beasley on the 5 was a poor decision. Beane is the guy I'm starting to get pissed at. He knew last year JA masked an incredibly weak OL. Drafting Singletary and Moss are busts. If Beane doesn't hit some OL homeruns this spring, he'll be in the hot seat. -
Did Sean go too far calling out Mckenzie?
LABILLBACKER replied to Niagara Dude's topic in The Stadium Wall
Everyone is making mistakes. Players and coaches alike. McKenzie fumbled 4 times his rookie year. There is history there. I agree Sean should've taken on more blame himself. You can definitely see him change this year. Instagram type practices should never have happened. The players are soft and the coaches (after last night) are starting to look real stupid. I don't think this can be turned around this season. And Beane is hardly blameless with his failure to improve the trenches. -

Couldn't agree more. It's windy every day in Buffalo. But God forbid you take away that outdoor experience from the diehards. They would rather make snow angels than win a SB. -
It's like he's slowly reverting back to his first 2 years. I was really praying he'd finally be our reliable TE. Clearly last night was the worst game of his career.
-
.....or maybe some people are just realists and don't live in a fairy tale world of rose colored glases?......
-
All 3 need to go after this season. I just don't feel confident Daboll is capable of completely retooling our running game. I hate the zone blocking and stationary rpos. If we don't get bigger stronger olineman it probably won't matter who our rbs are?
-
Yay, one 20 yard run followed by 7-8 2 yard runs. I'm done with all 3 of these worthless RB's. We need a complete OL/RB firesale. Sorry, I need you to break that down into 2 paragraphs.

This is what Dawson did his first 2 years.
