Yes and with a simpler offense you can insert new players faster. -

Hobbs didn't need 4 weeks. Andy gets his new guys in immediately. Don't buy it. -

....again they pick and choose....if you're a new defensive player you get to play immediately. If you're a new offensive player, you get to sit and spend 4 weeks learning this convoluted offense. What's the point of even acquiring offensive players mid-season with this organization. -
Is a future move to Safety possible for Tre White??

At this point with these back to back season enders, Tre's probably slower than both Poy & Micah. All 3 are done. -
Some thoughts re AFC, JA, McBeane and Injuries
LABILLBACKER replied to jahnyc's topic in The Stadium Wall
Even if this team battles a little to make a playoff run, I still feel McD is gone. I think Pegula keeps Beane to start a offensive HC search. Diggs will most definitely have a 1st round wr lined up on the other side. As far as what could've been, we experienced as many injuries as these other teams. But at least Josh hasn't gone down. Speaking of Josh, he must work harder. Maybe a little less golf and more Palmer. Just about every big name qb has said he must work more on the mental side of being an NFL QB. And finally it doesn't surprise me that the media continues the Josh/ Diggs drama narrative to keep views. At this rate the way qbs are dropping, Josh might be last man standing regardless of his shoulder. -

As a pass catcher he struggled but I always appreciated his gadget plays. We don't run anything like that anymore. -
Yes....Sean has gum disease.

Yes made my day seeing Yolo back. If Brady can turn around Josh's confidence, he's a shoe in for OC.

Week 11, NJ Jest v. Bills - Predict the Score
LABILLBACKER replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
Ok I've had a couple days to calm down. When a new guy (Brady) comes in there's usually an uptick in performance. This is a revenge game. And Josh can't possibly create 4 turnovers. Plus there's a chance Garrett Wilson won't play. We can't possibly screw this up....right? Bills 23 Jest 16 -
I agree. It took him 5 years, but McB finally realized you must build around Josh. We can more than function next year with a rotation of Oliver, DQ and Joseph. Phillips, Settle & Ford are gone. We must replace Count Dropulous with someone like Odunze.
-
Yeah because 82% of fans realize he is extremely limited in how deep he can take a team. Sometimes continuity is more appealing than the ultimate goal. I want a HC that can take Josh to a Lombardi. If it means we don't have a top 5 defense, so be it. Besides every fanbase complains about their coaches, except KC.

No way in any multiverse should we have lost to these 3. I can tolerate Jax & Cincy, but these 3. Serious...we should be 8-2.

You kinda have to "blast them in there" when your wrs aren't getting any separation. -

Drops that result directly in a turnover and loss of points/ possession "are exactly as egregious as any fumble". And yes I'm talking about the Gabe drop/interception. And Gabes career 52% hardly screams " here and there". And to use your own words, " you don't bench players for occassional failure to execute. According to James' fumble rate, Gabe has a higher failure rate than James. McD should've benched both if he wanted to be fair. But he picks & chooses. -

Then why didn't he bench Gabe, which literally cost us points. That wasn't Gabe's 1st drop. -

McB purposely neglected the OL and a better supplemental wr (wr2) for years. And this was done in order for him to focus on his defense. They literally had every opportunity to build a monster offense around Josh from 2018 on. Josh simply had to make hero plays because he didn't have the offensive structure to go in any other direction. McD hires Dorsey (another mistake) and Ken proceeds to ask Josh to do 3 things at once. No one should be surprised by this or Josh's loss of confidence. McDermott better quickly decide whether he wants to be flexible with Brady or his time with this team will come to an end. And to finalize, none of this has anything to do with the incessant blunders that Sean commits during games. That's a whole different argument for another day. This is about leadership and letting your offensive people like Daboll do their job. -

I agree. They haven't mentally recovered from Damar's collapse. They're not having fun and obviously Dorsey and his playcalling factored in. London and the injuries probably ended our season. They didn't need to completely turn off the running element of Josh's game. Just tone it down a little and keep stressing sliding on scrambles. They basically just stopped it, which effected his demeanor.
