Like I’ve said before... Getting mad at a Boston sports fan for being a delusional homer is like getting mad at a cow for mooing.

Gameday Thread PreGame Week 9 Bills vs. Seahawks
Logic replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Harry inactive means they're prioritizing pass rush over run stopping today. Might see the same defensive strategy they used against KC. Knox being active is awesome and is, to me, unexpected. For however disappointing he may have been thus far this year, there's no denying that our offense has played better overall when he's in the lineup. Also, our offense as a whole FINALY seems to be getting pretty healthy. Just need Morse back. -
This is a lie. The Trump campaign testified in court, on the record, that they DID have poll watchers present. Here's an article about it from that old lefty rag known as Forbes. If you don't like that source, there are many others. https://www.forbes.com/sites/tommybeer/2020/11/06/trump-and-allies-keep-claiming-republican-poll-watchers-were-banned-thats-a-lie/?sh=590327c944da Trump has yet to offer one iota of proof of any of his disgraceful, dangerous claims. He continues to disgrace our democratic system even in defeat, just as he disgraced the office of president for four years.

I think people are just excited that they're not going to have to watch Kraft Dinner Palpatine spew lies and disgrace the country on a daily basis for much longer.

As opposed to Trump? I hear his health care plan is coming out any day now. -

Fair. And I’m wondering how a normal, logical person can make a statement like the one you did regarding Kamala Harris and concentration camps. -

We have not met, no, but your labeling of KH as a “far, far left nutbag” paints a pretty clear picture. You can credibly accuse a Biden/Harris ticket of many things, but being “far, far left” definitely isn’t one of them. -
Hope this is okay to add. A celebration of a different sort: https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/video/2020/nov/07/cnn-van-jones-tears-joe-biden-us-election?CMP=Share_AndroidApp_Other

Your racism and misogyny are showing. -
I haven't read through this whole thread, but...no, neither of these guys will start this week. Darron Lee may not even be active, and if he is, he probably only plays special teams snaps. At corner, Daryl Worley may or may not be active, but he certainly won't start over White, Wallace, or Johnson. So I guess what I'm saying is that I adamantly disagree with everything you stated in the OP.

I believe this is the correct answer. The play that set up the first Bills championship.

Wait, is....is that a thing that happened? Someone please tell me more or PM me the URL to this amazing piece of the internet. -
I'm sure I'm in the minority because it looks really ugly, but... I think the Bills defense should play the Seahawks pretty much exactly how they played the Chiefs. Basically, concede the run game to them and drop 7 and 8 all day. Buffalo would be betting that DeeJay Dallas and Travis Homer won't have as much success as the Chiefs did, and that their own offense will perform better than it did in the KC game. Even with the way the Chiefs gashed the Bills and the Buffalo offense sputtered that game, we were one 3rd and long stop away from getting the ball back in the 4th quarter with a chance to take the lead. Play Seattle just like that defensively. Offensively, sling the ***** all over the field.

KtD Nails It: No Moral Losses
Logic replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This post put into words what I was thinking after the Pats game. For years and years, Bills fans would indeed talk about the "moral victories" after losing squeakers to the Pats again and again. Meanwhile, do you think Pats fans cared much that their team "barely" beat the awful Bills? I doubt it. Honestly, after two decades of losing football, I think Bills fans have forgotten how to behave when the Bills win. It's always either "we're going to the Super Bowl!" or "fire everyone!". There's no middle ground. For many, it has become a lost art to be able to say "the team has some things to clean up and improve upon, but winning is what matters most, and we won". If the win isn't stylish enough, or achieved in just the right way, these fans feel as badly after the game as if they would if the Bills had lost. It's crazy-town. -
A Few Thoughts About the Patriots Game, in no particular order
Logic replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Just wanted to chime in and say I appreciate the positive thread. 6-2 at the halfway point, with a 4-0 division record, is a great place to be. There is just no pleasing some people, and the amount of negativity I’ve read on these forums after two consecutive Bills WINS is just absurd. Good teams find ways to win. You are what your record says you are. Good game, good first half of the season, keep improving and correcting problems. On to Seattle. -

Sign him! I still say our defense would be the best fit for him — and best chance for him to reach his considerable potential — of any NFL scheme he’s played in so far. He’s exactly the type of mid season scrap heap find Beane has had success with in the past.- 242 replies

I get the feeling that Taron has definite strengths -- willingness and ability in run support being chief among them. Once tape was out on him after his rookie year, though, he never returned to his high level of play. I DO wonder how much the lack of two healthy, high functioning linebackers this year as hurt him. I believe the Bills want to see if Cam Lewis can be Taron's long term replacement. Either way, I expect the cornerback position to be heavily addressed in the offseason. In fact, I suspect the entire defense will be the focus of the draft and free agency. Need youth and juice on the edges, cornerback reinforcements, linebacker depth, possibly a new 1-technique, and to start thinking about the future at safety. So, basically...a lot of work to do on defense.
