For all those wondering why the Bills traded up: I can only assume that either the Ravens told them they had other teams trying to move up, or they had intel that the Cowboys liked Elam themselves. Maybe Beane just got antsy, since Elam was the last player on their board with a 1st round grade.

NFL Network's guys (Rich Eisen, Daniel Jeremiah, Charles Davis, David Shaw, Joel Klatt, Ian Rapaport, Peter Schrager, Kurt Warner) are better than ESPN's guys (Mike Greenberg, remote Mel Kiper, Louis Riddick, Booger McFarland, Chris Mortenson). I also feel there's a bit more detailed discussion of the prospects themselves on the NFL Network coverage, whereas ESPN comes at it more from an entertainment/spectacle/sideshow angle.

I read a Tweet today that multiple teams have him ranked ahead of "Punt God" Araiza. Might have to take him in the 5th. In any case, there are apparently about five legitimately draftable punters in this year's class. I hope the Bills end up with one of them, Stout being my preference.

By the way, that user changed his Twitter name to clown face AFTER the Josh video got posted. The internet is hilarious sometimes.

Just wanted to come in and say that I respect @IronMaidenBills and @Solomon Grundy for planting their flag on “draft Breece Hall” hill and sticking with it for dozens of pages. The Bills may draft him. They may not. But either way, you gentlemen can be proud to have defended your position with dedication and consistency for weeks and weeks in an internet message board.

Personally, I think the "never, ever take a running back in the first round" thing has become ridiculously overblown. I get it: positional value, short shelf life, blah blah blah. But people saying they'd rather reach for a corner just because it's a need, or who would rather take WR6 or CB5 instead of RB1, even if RB1 is rated higher on the draft board, just because spreadsheet Twitter says so...it's gotten out of hand. RB is not my preferred choice at 25, but if Beanie feels like adding a dynamic running back will help the team more than reaching to fill a need at corner or WR, I'm not gonna throw my TV out the window. I watched our running game for the majority of last year. I watched Allen be our red zone running back for four years straight. Having a legit running back for six years (fifth year option plus franchise tag) to balance our offense and reduce the amount of hits our QB takes won't be the worst thing, even if it makes the analytics twerps scream and cry.

Probably the last mock I'll do this year. Though Elam is not my favorite, I'd be pretty happy with this draft class.

I think that this year’s 1st and 3rd and next year’s 1st might get it done. I think teams wanting to trade down this year are going to have to do so at a bit of a discount, as it’s a buyer’s market. Now if you don’t want to give up next year’s 1st, that’s understandable. Totally understandable. I would. He’d make our offense un-defendable. He’d change the way defenses have to play the Bills. I think he’s going to be elite.

I know the Jets are our division rivals so I shouldn't ever root for their players to succeed, but... If Mekhi Becton is truly done, what a shame. He has the talent to be a first ballot Hall of Famer. I hope he can fix whatever is ailing him and get back on track. Seeing a player with that much potential be gone after one season is just a terrible waste.
