Yep even Lofton alluded to it. Lack of experience played a role. He indicated that you would improvise a bit based on the actual coverage and lead the WR a bit for an easier catch. Definitely too much hot sauce on the throw as you indicated

Yep they needed a 5 yard quickout there. Allen and Daboll screwed up royally and wasted the time

Allen f’d up letting the p,ayclock rundown that forced the TO. Then he absolutely had to pass quickly and he didn’t throw it. Just a total mess up by the QB and Daboll there
