Pricing power will come with a combination of fewer seats and improved amenities plus climate control to attract a deep pocket fan in the best seats that currently resides in their own living room on Sundays.

This has been known for decades, at least. That fact will not make a damn bit of difference on the outcome and rarely, if ever has. Stadiums are not a money maker for a locale, and nobody really thinks that they are.

Yeah, there are maybe 4 or 5 acts out there that can justify playing a football stadium. Concerts are mostly a hockey arena/ outdoor summer venue deal now.

This isn’t really much of a factor in this whole stadium process. The main point of a covered stadium is tapping into a well heeled market that currently avoids the open air stadium.

Agreed that whatever weather factor there once was is overrated, and gone. A covered stadium is in order, but 70k seats is too many. The place should seat around 60k for demand/ pricing power. The whole point of a new stadium is increase corporate revenue and to be able to charge true market rate for general tickets. The current facility doesn’t support this. It has too many seats and outdated amenities.

A stadium is not and will never be a money making proposition for an area or city. We all get that, so let’s realize that it isn’t a factor in this equation at all. I’d bet that the results of the study indicate that a new , climate controlled stadium be built downtown. Downtown is coming back in a big way, and that’s where the momentum will take this. There is definitely a market out there to support a covered stadium with better amenities and fewer seats.

One of the most often misstated football terms ever...the correct term used by scouts and personnel types is shake and break. Anyway, as for shake and bake , I think it’s still around and pretty tasty too.

Not sure how meaningful this is in the end, but I still like it. It makes me think of what Allen could be with better protection and some better WRs. Preferably more that have speed. The quick strike ability is exciting, and this type of number makes one optimistic for what an Allen -led offense could eventually be.

Many season ticket holders dumped their remaining Tix, holiday weekend , etc. Would have been a tough sell with a winning record. Bottom line : lots of tix are purchased with the intent of selling on the secondary market. If the team is out of it, those don’t sell and they go unused.

Foster’s issues seemed to be tracking the football and alligator arming it, not bad hands. Seems he’s improved those two areas
