  1. No , I don’t believe it was allowed once the ball was thrown, but it had a huge impact on running routes.
  2. It was the league’s way of not saying “ you can longer chuck a WR ever”. Remember , this used to be allowed all the way down the field as recently as the 70’s. It’s part of the reason why QBs have put up pinball numbers .
  3. Great game and I thought it was a good no call on the 4th down play. I wanted the Rams to win fwiw. Anyway, I just wish one or both of these teams played in the AFC . I’ve been on the “ anyone but New England “ deal with the SuperBowl for about 17 years now.
  4. I predict the difference between top 5 and top ten pick in 2019 will not make a significant difference in the Bills overall future success.
  5. I found it amusing both times, but if I followed the Saints or wanted them to win I guess I’d be mad about it.
  6. Yep sorry, it was Horn. I had the wrong guy Years ago Saints WR Joe Horn pulled a flip phone out of goalpost padafter a TD. Had to be mid 2000s. Motorola Razr era
  7. I don’t know if there is a discernible difference in bust percentage between say pick 5 and pick 10. Even at QB. Good players can be found at most positions throughout the draft. Anything past the first 3 or 4 rounds becomes a crapshoot to a degree. Thinking the Bills future hinges on a few slots of draft position is far fetched. It has a lot more to do with the competence of those doing the drafting. That’s what many fans are afraid of.
  8. Yep, and in two or three more years maybe just maybe the next GM and his chosen HC will walk into a good situation and win with just a few tweaks a la Rams.
  9. Nah, a loss is not a loss... Losing the way the Bills are isn’t exactly what they wanted, far from it. It’s the type of thing that shows no competence, gives no hope for the future. Instead of plugging one or two or even three holes, the vast majority of the offense needs to be replaced. Right up to the OC. These coaches do think about their reputations and their jobs, you know. This is the kind of thing that gets people fired , calling friends and basically scrapping for some assistant position to stay in the league. A team on the cusp that just can’t finish is a much easier fix than an all time disaster schitt show like we are witnessing. This team is miles away, even if Josh Allen is decent.
  10. Hahaha so true
  11. Don’t know anyone who follows football in search of serenity, but OK
  12. Not sure what you mean, but was just answering his statement about the current draft order.
  13. Showing how the game is played there...puts the ball right where the WR can go get it
  14. I’m not optimistic about their prospects in FA. Their drafting of offensive talent appears suspect as well. When the postscript is written on Beane /McD it will show they really boxed themselves in with their slash and burn methodology. Too big a hole to dig out of.
  15. Watching Rams -Saints is pretty crazy...Bills might be competitive in this league in another ten years or so
  16. Dumb penalty that ball wasn’t going to be caught
  17. True. at least being a terrible O brings some benefits
  18. Four down territory if across the 50 from this point on
  19. Looked like a false start there got away with it
  20. McClappity in full force right now on that one yard pass
